“Once ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍a Global Market is established，with no Trade Barriers，the people of the world will all be able to buy the goods they want，and peace and prosperity will arrive as promised。”

“Then，what ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍is the price？”

“A ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍system in which everyone wins is impossible to exist。Even when handling internal affairs within my own race it is difficult for me to take care of everyone，much less manage several billion people across the world。”

Kate ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍still could not quite understand。

Mitia ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍put down her silver fork and wiped the corner of her mouth：“Permanent mutual benefit is difficult，but short-term mutual benefit can be achieved。”

“Every nation in the world must acknowledge that the Alliance occupies an internationally advantageous position，if they want to survive within this globalized system，they must allow the Alliance to extract tax from coinage。”

“In return，the Alliance has an obligation to provide public necessities to the entire world，including guarantees of peace，economic prosperity，and freedom of navigation、trade routes、and commerce。”

“Although under this system the overwhelming majority of nations and people will live at the bottom of the system，serving as dumping grounds for the world’s commodities，and being harvested by the Industrial-Agricultural Price Scissors，at least in the beginning，they will have a period of happy lives。”

“In the initial establishment stage of this system，the world will undergo reconstruction with the Alliance’s strong support，the economy will comprehensively recover，and this Golden Period can roughly last around 50 years。”

“And after that......”

Mitia rested her cheek on one hand and looked at the Ordinary People outside the window cheering loudly because of the promises made by the leaders of various nations over the broadcasts，their demands were just that simple。

World Peace，food to eat，clothes to wear，that was enough，if they could marry and have children that would be even better。

Tilting her head and pondering for a moment，Mitia said calmly：“After that I don’t know either。”

“Regardless of whether the Alliance’s original intentions change，under absolute military force and economic control this system can at least be sustained for more than 200 years，actually this has already met my requirements。”

“To put it in a，hmm...less socially acceptable way，excluding the imaginings of the future Sea of Stars，from the perspective of the Alliance Empress considering her subjects，my objective is actually very simple，the fundamental driving force behind everything I have done comes down to one thing。”

Under Kate’s curious gaze，Mitia said softly：“I don’t want the children of the future Alliance to write on their geography examination papers：The advantage of this nation is that it possesses extremely abundant cheap labor resources。”

“No one knows exactly how the future will develop，the future is not unchanging，the future may not necessarily be beautiful，before the world’s resources are completely divided up whether technology can lead us to break through this heaven and earth no one knows。”

“So I made preparations for the worst，if the Alliance is trapped to death within this heaven and earth then exactly how should it proceed。After thinking it over and over if there is a choice，under the worst circumstances，I would still rather they become the group at the very top that gets cursed...”

“The moonlight tonight is nice~”

Mitia did not want to continue discussing this subject，after all her thoughts were somewhat selfish。

Kate also leaned her little head over and looked together at the full moon hanging high in the sky outside the window：

“It really is beautiful，back then I even thought about running up there to take a look，to see whether there really was a Moon Goddess，unfortunately the environment outside is too terrible，and my strength is insufficient。”

Mitia turned her head and looked at Kate with some surprise：“Oh？Then you should be happy，because in the not too distant future，perhaps we will be able to look back at this place from atop it。”

‘Really？！The Alliance has this plan？！Can it succeed？’

“Mm，at least I can confirm that landing on the moon is feasible。”

Kate shook her head：‘Sometimes I really can’t understand，why you are so confident in some fields that are clearly unknown，yet reality then proves that you really were right。’

“Is that so？Perhaps...never having left one’s homeland，yet forever unable to return home。”

‘What？’

“Nothing，just feeling a little emotional。”

Alliance Brenta State

“Bang！Crash...”

Health Bureau Director Gedo walked into the private dining room with his face swollen like a pig’s head，seeing the Brenta entrepreneurs sitting in a circle made his anger flare up，he picked up the wine bottle on the dining table and smashed it onto the floor：

“You still have the face to sit here eating！！！”

“Two of the three tributaries have been polluted，27 underground caverns，21 of them contaminated！Now you fucking tell me，where are the hidden pipes buried！Who buried them！！”

Looking at the group of city-level entrepreneurs with ugly expressions who were completely silent，Gedo became anxious：“None of you are talking right，all of you had a part in it right！”

“I’m telling you！This matter of yours，has blown up！”

After Governor Veronica arrived she did not leave，instead staying at a guesthouse in Brenta，making it obvious that she intended to make them give an explanation。

Mayor Langer was so anxious that blisters had formed at the corners of his mouth，he did not even have time to catch the culprit，after violently beating up the Health Bureau Director he stationed himself directly at the pollution frontline。

Because Brenta was now about to enter the rainy season，the entire city had to conduct a thorough inspection，find every polluted location and then immediately excavate and clean them up。

Otherwise once the rainy season arrived，either the pollutants would be washed into the main river channel along with the rainwater，or they would be carried by the rainwater and degrade deeper down before eventually penetrating the soil layer and entering the Underground Water Network。

As the parental official responsible for Brenta City’s several million residents，if either one of these two matters was not properly handled，what awaited him would definitely not be some government criticism，but spending the rest of his life repenting and atoning in prison。

And Veronica was not idle inside the guesthouse either，Governor Gabry was currently communicating with her over the telephone：

“I have already obtained the environmental monitoring report provided by the Central Government，these companies in Brenta must be dealt with。”

“But among the Brenta Chamber of Commerce there is one company that is one of the leading enterprises in our State，you should also know，environmental protection and enterprises represent ecology and the economy，if environmental protection is truly tightened，the enterprises will definitely suffer a severe blow。”

“If there has to be a choice between the economy and environmental protection，then economically speaking filling people’s stomachs should be more important，wouldn’t you say。”The implication was that fines were acceptable，but there had to be limits。

Veronica shook her head upon hearing this：“No，I don’t think so，an economy without environmental protection can only resolve worries temporarily。”

“Then you may be a little too idealistic。”

“No，this is an extremely realistic problem。”

Unlike Veronica，Gabry cared more about the State’s economic development，because if nothing unexpected happened，relying on his achievements in the economic field，he had a very good chance of advancing further，and for this reason certain sacrifices were acceptable。
