I Became the Caretaker of Twin Yandere Villainesses, and They Love Me!
Chapter 70: Make Lots of Kids
While Elias and Aunt Centipede started talking about the fact that Elias was actually nobody special to Evelyn and Elysia, the Village Chief let out a quiet sigh before walking toward the carriage.
"Sorry for the rude behavior of my villagers."
"Hoho~ No problem. It’s only natural for that little girl to be angry."
Alistair then climbed down from the driver’s seat and walked up to the Village Chief before continuing.
"She must’ve been shocked to see her brother’s condition."
"Honestly, I was shocked too. What exactly happened to him?"
Alistair looked at the Village Chief for a moment, then sighed before he started telling him everything.
At first, the Village Chief only showed a little concern when Alistair told him that Valeria had been in critical condition because of her illness.
But his expression slowly changed as Alistair went on. Especially when he heard how Alistair went to Blackwood Forest and made all kinds of plans just to find the Heartbloom.
Just hearing that much already made the Village Chief both shocked and proud.
But his surprise grew even more when Alistair told him how Elias was still able to seriously wound his enemy, even after losing his left arm and being in a miserable state.
"According to the imperial physician, Elias shouldn’t have been able to move his body anymore after losing his left arm and suffering damage to several of his internal organs."
"Are you serious? Since when did that brat have this much strength and guts?"
The Village Chief got curious about Elias’s change. In his memory, Elias was just a naughty brat who often caused trouble and even leaned toward being a coward.
That was why Randolf used to train him so hard. Really, he just wanted to make Elias more disciplined.
And then there was Aunt Centipede, who always forced Elias to drink the poison she made. The goal was to build up Elias’s immunity to poison, but it seemed Aunt Centipede got a little personal satisfaction out of it every time.
"He drank poison?"
"Since he was five years old, that woman’s been feeding him poison."
The Village Chief then pointed toward Aunt Centipede, who was still chatting with Elias. Aunt Potato and a few Guard Uncles were over there too.
"That woman’s crazy for real. Her hobby is collecting venomous insects and studying the venom of all kinds of deadly species. You know that!"
Alistair could only sigh and shake his head.
"You’re all still the same as ever. Try acting like regular villagers."
"What do you mean? You think we don’t act like regular villagers?"
"It’s not just me. Even this little girl thinks so."
Alistair pointed at Buka, who was standing next to him.
"Who’re you calling ’little girl’, huh?!"
The Village Chief immediately lowered his head to look at Buka. His forehead wrinkled a bit as he studied the tiny figure.
"Wyvern... No. Mixed blood."
"See? That’s exactly what makes you not like a regular village chief."
Feeling like he couldn’t dodge it anymore, the Village Chief just clicked his tongue before finally giving in.
"Tch... Fine, fine. I’ll be more ordinary, then."
"Hey, Old Man! Did you just say I’m mixed blood?"
The Village Chief and Vladir both looked down at Buka at the same time.
"That’s right. You’re mixed blood, kid."
Hearing that answer, Buka frowned right away. Annoyance started showing on her face.
"First, let me make this clear. I’m not a kid anymore. And second, besides Wyvern blood, what other blood do I actually have?"
"Oh, that? You should’ve said so! You’ve got the blood of—"
"Buka!"
But before the Village Chief could finish his explanation, Elias suddenly appeared next to Buka. He immediately scooped her up like he was carrying a little kid.
"Where have you been? Come on, let’s go inside!"
"Let go of me, you idiot! Put me down!"
Buka started thrashing around as soon as Elias hauled her up in his arms.
"Ugh... What’s your problem? Let’s just go in and get some rest. I still have some jerky for you."
Elias then walked into the village with Buka still in his arms. Buka glanced back at the Village Chief and Vladir, who were getting farther and farther away.
"I haven’t gotten my answer yet! Let go!"
Buka sank her teeth into Elias’s head, hard.
*Chomp!
"Ahhh!"
Elias yelled in pain and bolted into the village at full speed, with Buka still clamped onto his head. Her tiny body swung left and right with every step Elias took.
The Village Chief and Alistair watched it happen without a word. Neither of them even reacted, like a sight like that was already normal to them.
Meanwhile, Evelyn and Elysia just giggled at how ridiculous Elias and Buka were.
While the two of them were still busy watching Elias run around, Aunt Potato suddenly appeared behind them. Without any warning, she wrapped both girls up in a tight hug.
*Squeeze!
Evelyn and Elysia were a little startled, but they didn’t try to break free.
"Oh my goodness, you two are really beautiful! Curled lashes, glossy plum lips, and you’re not even wearing much makeup. This is pure natural beauty!"
Aunt Potato then pinched both their cheeks so cutely. Her face looked so happy, like she’d just found two pretty dolls.
"You’re exaggerating, Auntie. You’re even prettier than us."
"That’s right. We’re nothing compared to you, Auntie. Even though your clothes are a little wrinkled, your fair skin, balanced figure, and blonde hair have a charm of their own. You’re like a diamond in a mud puddle."
Hearing those compliments, Aunt Potato got even more fired up. She even rubbed her cheeks against both girls’ cheeks.
"You’re not just pretty, you’re humble and so kind too! Elias is really lucky to have two girlfriends like you!"
"Eh?"
Evelyn lost her words for a second. The smile that had been on her face all this time slowly turned a bit awkward. She looked away for a moment before turning back to Aunt Potato.
"I-is that so?"
Meanwhile, Elysia didn’t answer right away. She just lowered her head a little, trying to hide her face behind her black hair. Her fingertips even started fidgeting with each other.
Aunt Potato then turned both girls around to face her and nodded firmly.
"Of course! These days it’s hard to find girls like you!"
"You flatter us, Auntie..."
Evelyn laughed softly while waving her hand, but the smile on her face still hadn’t gone away. She even stole a glance at Elysia, who was still busy avoiding Aunt Potato’s eyes.
Aunt Potato laughed along at their reactions. But instead of stopping the teasing, she told the two of them to come a little closer.
Evelyn and Elysia obeyed without asking anything.
"If you two really do marry him someday, and when you have kids, try to have chubby and strong ones!"
"Eh?!"
"M-m-m-marry? Ch-chubby... strong?!"
Both of them fell silent. Evelyn, who’d still been trying to smile, now totally lost her words. Elysia hurriedly turned her face away. Both her hands moved restlessly in front of her body.
They never expected Aunt Potato to take the conversation this far. They’d never even really talked about marrying Elias, let alone thought about kids!
Aunt Potato looked even more satisfied seeing their reactions.
"Oh, and if possible, don’t stop at one or two kids. Make a lot!"
"A-a lot?!"
Evelyn repeated Aunt Potato’s words on reflex. Her smile looked a bit stiff now, while both her hands were clasped together in front of her.
Next to her, Elysia looked more and more restless. She opened her mouth, closed it again, then finally tried to speak.
"B-b-but, that’s..."
"Don’t worry!" Aunt Potato cut in right away with a big smile, like she already understood what Elysia wanted to say. "If you two can’t take care of all of them, bring some of your kids to the village!"
"Eh?"
Aunt Potato then puffed up proudly. She bent one of her arms, showing off her biceps, and slapped it with total confidence.
"I may look like this, but I’ve got lots of experience taking care of kids, you know! So don’t worry!"
Evelyn and Elysia could only glance at each other. It seemed they had no idea what else to say anymore.
Meanwhile, Aunt Potato was still smiling proudly in her muscle pose, like she’d just offered some incredible help.
On the other side, the Village Chief could only let out a long sigh at Aunt Potato, who kept on teasing Evelyn and Elysia.
He then glanced at Alistair standing beside him before saying,
"Sorry about my villagers’ behavior..."
Alistair just stroked his beard with a small laugh, like he was already used to how the villagers acted.
"Haha... I think it’s fine. Besides, those two ladies seem to be enjoying it."
"Wait... What exactly is their relationship with Elias?"
Alistair only smiled a little before he started walking into the village.
"Who knows. I don’t know either."
The Village Chief watched Alistair walk away with a slightly annoyed face.
"Tch! Act your age, Old Man. You’re too old to be acting cool like that."
But Alistair didn’t pay any attention to his words and kept walking into the village.
Realizing his nagging didn’t work, the Village Chief just sighed a little while scratching his head. After that, he walked over to Aunt Potato and the two girls.
Then he lightly hit Aunt Potato on the head.
*Thud!
"Ouch!"
"Enough. Stop teasing them."
Aunt Potato immediately looked at the Village Chief while holding the spot on her head where he’d hit her.
"I’m not teasing them! I’m just saying what I feel. Besides, they don’t look like they mind!"
Seeing Aunt Potato still being so stubborn, the Village Chief slapped his forehead in frustration. Then he invited Evelyn and Elysia to go into the village.
"Please come in, Lady Nocturne. Don’t listen to what this woman says."
"Huh?! What do you mean by that?!"
While Aunt Potato started demanding an explanation, the Village Chief completely ignored her and just left her there.
"Hey, wait for me!"
