"Hmm?" Angelle froze, instantly ceasing the emission of light. "Why... why did it do nothing?"

"Of course it was useless. Do you even understand what an Angel truly is? Angels are spirits, beings made entirely of light. Your little trick did nothing more than warm my skin slightly. It means absolutely nothing to me."

Vladimir pointed his sword toward her. The Holy Sword burned with sacred fire, yet a chilling, murderous intent slowly emanated from it.

"This... is how Holy Light is meant to destroy enemies!"

In an instant, the sword in his hand expanded massively, radiating light that illuminated the heavens.

That holy brilliance was now filled with killing intent. With one slash, it transformed into a beam of divine radiance that split the sky in two.

"Holy Judgment!"

The world turned blinding white. Angelle hovered motionless in mid-air, her entire being swallowed by the radiance. The light was dissolving her physical form and purifying her very soul.

Within her consciousness, the world split down the middle. On one side lay the Holy Paradise; on the other, the Abyss of Endless Hell.

She stood between them, merely a mortal.

I am no angel...

Realizing this truth, she faced the ultimate choice.

After a long moment, the divine light that had split the heavens faded away. Angelle had vanished completely.

"She took her own life?"

Vladimir paused, shaking his head. "I deliberately left a glimmer of hope for survival... and she chose to end it herself."

Holy Judgment possessed terrifying power. It struck directly at one’s true nature, forcing a choice between Heaven and Hell.

Choose wrong, and you died instantly. Even if you chose correctly, your soul and body would be purified, binding you forever as a captive of the Archangel.

"Well, since she’s dead, let it be."

Dispersing the Holy Sword, Vladimir turned his gaze back to the All-Knowing Tree.

"You are quite remarkable. I will spare you for now. But as for this kingdom... it is far cleaner to simply wipe it out."

With that, he beat his six wings and dived downward.

Moments later, he hovered directly above the Sky Kingdom.

"Clouds of Holy Light!"

He spoke softly. Instantly, massive amounts of Holy Light condensed into thick, heavy clouds covering the entire kingdom.

Radiating absolute sanctity, the six-winged Archangel opened his arms and unleashed his full power without restraint.

The dense, tangible clouds of Holy Light enveloped the entire island. The radiance was so intense it could be seen even from the Blue Sea, ten thousand meters below.

People down there could even see the shadow of the kingdom projected clearly upon the clouds.

"Lady Saintess has returned!" On the Lower Tier, countless citizens looked up, falling to their knees in pious prayer.

"Fall... false kingdom of gods."

Vladimir ignored these unclaimed prayers. With a thought, the Clouds of Holy Light churned and split open. Slowly, a colossal Sacred Spear emerged from within.

"Holy Light Spear!"

This massive weapon, over a hundred meters in length, shot down from the clouds with terrifying speed.

It pierced effortlessly through the temple on the Upper Tier, smashed through the defenses of the Middle Tier, and finally impacted the ground of the Lower Tier.

Immediately after came a deafening detonation — an explosion that engulfed the entire island.

The shockwave tore through countless buildings made of cloud-material, sending them flying.

The White-White Sea — the ocean of clouds that kept the island afloat — was blasted apart, creating a massive gaping hole beneath it.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The entire Sky Kingdom began to sink slowly, falling through the rupture in the White-White Sea and plummeting toward the world below.

High above the clouds of the Blue Sea, a mythic scene unfolded: an island from ten thousand meters in the sky, shattering and descending toward the ocean.

At that same moment, far out on the Grand Line, a small pirate ship was sailing atop the head of a massive sea turtle.

The ship was barely twenty meters long — yet that length was smaller than just one of the turtle’s eyes.

And this giant turtle, when compared to the shadow of the falling island projected across the sky, was as tiny as an ant.

"What in the world is that?!" Zoro stared upward, completely stunned.

"A Sky Island... is it falling down?!" Sanji had a very bad feeling — a feeling that was about to be proven right.

Only their captain, Luffy, stared with sparkling eyes and shouted excitedly, "It’s a Sky Island! A fantastic adventure!"

As he spoke, a deafening roar of wind filled the air. The true form of the Divine Kingdom broke through the cloud layer and descended rapidly.

"RUN!!" Nami screamed, terrified out of her wits.

Meanwhile, high above in the ten-thousand-meter sky, Vladimir flapped his wings, watching the scene unfold calmly.

"A kingdom built on rigid hierarchy — citizens, soldiers, priests, generals, and an angel... I simply killed the angel and brought down the island. What happens to them next is none of my concern. Hahaha... I believe there were Marines stationed there too. I wonder how they will report this to Headquarters?"

Vladimir smiled, then turned and flew away swiftly.

The next day, news broke across the world, screaming from every front page:

"A SKY ISLAND HAS FALLEN!"

Accompanied by a photograph, the news sent shockwaves across the globe.
