I Can Enlighten Everything

Chapter 88: Xiao Jie’s Actions

The more he understood his own transformation and everything he had gained, the more he could feel the glory of his master’s power.

BOOM!

Blasting flames, compressed to the absolute limit, shot forth.

The moment the fire surged from the cannon’s muzzle, it expanded at breakneck speed. The blinding light engulfed the entire city. Then came a terrifying shockwave accompanied by a colossal explosion, shaking the very earth.

Everyone was thrown into inexplicable panic. They had no idea what was happening and were completely unable to even look directly at the beam of light that seemed to pierce through the world. As the rolling heatwave struck, some people ran around in terror, thinking the apocalypse had arrived. Even the King in the Royal Palace, Orkot IV, dashed out in a frantic rush, clutching his clothes while his bare bottom hung out for the world to see.

“What’s going on… Ah! My eyes!”

The front of the Royal Palace faced the direction of the blast. Having just emerged from his dim bedchamber, Orkot IV, who was only an ordinary Cultivator, couldn’t immediately adjust to the intense light. Meanwhile, his great-grandfather, Kingdom Saint Realm expert Orkot I, rocketed into the sky. His expression was filled with unconcealed horror.

That was the location of the Holy Hall!

When the light and flames finally dissipated, the originally pristine white branch of the Holy Hall in the city center had completely vanished from his sight. In its place was a crater dozens of meters deep, with molten magma churning at the bottom. There was no need to check. If the Holy Hall’s Paladin had been inside, they were undoubtedly reduced to ashes! Orkot I felt an urge to turn and flee. Whatever had just happened, if such an attack had been aimed at the Royal Palace, he wouldn’t have even known how he died.

But right at that moment, a flat voice suddenly sounded from behind him.

“Are you the Saint Realm of this kingdom?”

The abrupt voice made the muscular expert, who stood over two meters tall, violently shudder. His Divine Thought moved faster than his gaze, revealing a bald expert holding a man by the collar behind him.

“That’s right… May I ask who you are, my lord…” Orkot I gulped and slowly turned around. His gaze swept continuously over Xiaojie’s right arm, which had already returned to normal.

There was no need to ask further. The arm was still radiating a high temperature capable of distorting the air. That terrifying attack just now was the work of this man! And at this distance… he probably couldn’t escape even if he tried.

“Do you recognize this person?” Xiaojie lifted Bill, whom he was holding in his left hand, and presented him forward.

“Is this… Vice Hall Master Bill?!” Orkot I’s voice grew sharp and shrill from sheer shock.

His attention had previously been entirely focused on the bald man. Only now did he realize who the captive was. Although the man was in a remarkably miserable state—his limbs broken and his throat crushed—the aura exuding from his body was still enough to prove his identity. This was the Great Saint who used to be the Vice Hall Master of the Holy Hall, deterring the entire world!

Why did he end up like this?! Moreover, his eyes were filled with the unwillingness, resentment, and madness typical of a Black Mage…

“Since you recognize him, listen well!” Xiaojie slightly deepened his tone and spoke sternly. “I have come under my master’s orders to inform you that the Holy Hall has pledged allegiance to the Demon King and fallen into darkness. The captive in my hand is the proof. You and the Saint Realms of all nations are to immediately mobilize your armies and head to the Violet Kingdom to form a coalition to slay the demons. There must be no mistakes. Otherwise… you will be seen as associating with the likes of the Holy Hall!”

When he spoke the final few words, it was as if even his body grew hotter. The oppressive aura of a Great Saint filled the space like a tsunami.

“Understood!” Orkot I hadn’t even had time to digest the contents of those words before screaming his compliance, driven by an overpowering desire to survive.

Only then did he process what was actually happening. The Holy Hall had actually surrendered to the Demon King?! Had the Demon King been resurrected?! And the “master” this person spoke of—what kind of figure could possibly be the master of a Great Saint?! Furthermore, why the Violet Kingdom?!

Even for a Saint Realm who had lived for over two hundred years, his brain was currently turning to mush from the shocking Information in Xiaojie’s words. However, the completely un-Paladin-like appearance of Vice Hall Master Bill in front of him, along with the churning magma below, clearly told him one thing.

The world was about to plunge into chaos!

“Our Black Iron Country… will prepare immediately.”

Orkot I had too many questions he wanted to ask, but he simply didn’t dare. Xiaojie’s words weren’t a mere notification; they were a decree! They were using a Great Saint as a vanguard to deliver orders to them!

“Make it quick! If you dare to slack off on my master’s orders…” Xiaojie stared at the man in front of him, then raised his right fist. “You will feel my wrath!”

A chill involuntarily surged from the depths of Orkot I’s heart. As the first King of his nation, he naturally recognized that kind of expression. It was the worry of a subordinate afraid of failing their mission.

“Yes! I will immediately assemble the army and set off at once!” Orkot I shouted loudly.

If he dawdled, even if the person behind the scenes didn’t mind, the Great Saint right in front of him wouldn’t let him off. He simply couldn’t afford to offend him.

Xiaojie said no more. Carrying Bill, he flew off in the direction of the Violet Kingdom. In reality, he didn’t fly far. He continued to monitor the other party with his radar.

Orkot I didn’t dare to return until Xiaojie had disappeared into the clouds. He rushed into the Royal Palace, grabbed his grandson, and gave him a brutal beating.

“Hurry up and assemble the army for me, you worthless grandson! All you know is playing with women all day!”

“Ah! I’ll go right now, stop hitting me! Ah! Grandpa!”

“What did you call me?! I’m your great-grandfather!”

“Ahhhh!”

After his daily routine of beating up his worthless great-grandson, Orkot I’s fiery temper finally eased. Since becoming a Saint Realm expert, he had truly never cowered the way he just did. However, thinking about what Xiaojie had said, as well as the blatantly abnormal state of Vice Hall Master Bill, he felt too anxious to sit still.

“I want to see the entire army assembled by the time I get back!”

Leaving behind that single command, his figure shot straight into the clouds. He needed to visit other countries and ask if they knew anything.

Xiaojie watched the direction he left in and directly relayed his reaction and movements to Shen Yun through their mental link.

“Is that so…” Shen Yun thought for a moment before getting an idea. “Perfect. Just follow him to the other countries and repeat what you just did a few more times. Then, bring back the Saint Realms of all the surrounding nations.”

“Understood!” Xiaojie received his orders.

He abruptly burst into top speed, intercepting Orkot I from a different direction and cutting in front of him before intentionally slowing down.

Thus, as Orkot I was flying, he suddenly saw a figure up ahead. Wasn’t that the very same fiend who had just left? Even more terrifyingly, Xiaojie suddenly turned his head, locking onto him with a cold, indifferent stare.
