I Can Evolve Spirit Elementals
Chapter 61: Battle Finale
Chapter 61: Chapter 61: Battle Finale
Sylphie vanished first.
Not fast.
Gone.
The wyvern’s eyes searched wildly.
Nothing.
Its senses spread through the air.
Still nothing.
Then...
Slash!
A deep cut opened beneath its neck.
The wyvern roared.
It swung its claws immediately, but only wind remained.
Slash!
Another wound appeared across its shoulder.
Its tail whipped around with enough force to shatter boulders.
Sylphie was already somewhere else.
She glided between the violent winds as naturally as breathing.
Every flap of her wings carried her through tiny openings no ordinary creature could even notice.
She wasn’t forcing her way through.
She simply flowed.
The wyvern unleashed another Gale Roar.
The sonic wave ripped through everything nearby, tearing rocks apart and uprooting ancient trees.
Sylphie folded her wings.
She slipped through the edge of the blast with unbelievable precision before opening them again.
Not a single feather was touched.
Damon couldn’t help smiling.
"That’s how you fight..."
She had watched everything.
Every movement.
Every lesson.
And now she was using it.
Slash!
Slash!
Slash!
Blood sprayed again.
The wounds kept piling up.
Every strike landed on a different part of the wyvern’s body.
Every strike created another dead zone.
The beast tried everything.
It bit.
It clawed.
It spun its massive tail.
Lightning Shed burst again and again.
Thunder Lance Drive.
Gale Roar.
Even Arts Damon had never forced it to reveal came one after another.
The valley shook continuously.
Yet Sylphie remained untouched.
She was like the wind itself.
Impossible to catch.
Impossible to predict.
Every desperate attack only exposed another opening.
Every opening became another wound.
The wyvern’s angry roars slowly turned into painful screeches.
Its movements became slower.
Its breathing became heavier.
Its body trembled beneath the accumulated injuries.
Little by little...
Its entire body became one massive dead zone.
Sylphie soared high into the storm.
She circled once above the battlefield.
Then she looked toward Freya.
"Chirp!"
That single cry carried only one meaning.
I’m done.
Freya smiled.
"Kyu."
She stepped forward calmly.
There was no rush.
No excitement.
Only absolute confidence.
Nine tails slowly rose behind her.
Lightning gathered from every direction.
The storm above seemed to answer her call.
Crack...
Crack...
Crack...
Countless bolts merged together until they formed one enormous spear of pure lightning.
Its tip hummed with terrifying power.
Even Damon felt goosebumps.
"So this..."
"...is your finisher."
The Stormreign Wyvern looked up.
For the first time...
Fear filled its eyes.
Freya’s golden eyes remained fixed on the countless wounds Sylphie had prepared.
There was only one target.
One strike.
One ending.
The lightning spear trembled once.
The entire valley fell silent.
Then...
Freya lowered her paw.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!
The spear shot forward like heavenly judgment.
It pierced straight into the largest dead zone on the wyvern’s chest.
For one heartbeat...
Everything became white.
Time seemed to stop after the lightning spear struck.
Then...
BOOOOOOM!!
The lightning exploded from inside the beast, turning every wound Sylphie had created into an outlet for destruction.
The valley shook violently.
The storm itself seemed to split apart.
And Damon watched the explosion with a slow smile.
"Beautiful..."
The entire Tempest Hollow trembled.
A pillar of blinding lightning burst out from the Stormreign Wyvern’s body and shot straight into the stormy sky.
Wind exploded in every direction.
The lightning escaped through every dead zone Sylphie had carefully carved into the beast.
Every wound connected.
Every single one.
It was as though the wyvern’s own body had become a channel for the lightning.
SKREEEEAAAGHHH!!
Its scream echoed across the valley.
Lightning burst from every crack in its scales.
Its massive wings shook violently.
One scale after another shattered under the pressure.
The current spread unhindered.
There was no Lightning Shed left to protect it.
Every point that could have resisted had already been destroyed by Damon and Sylphie.
Freya’s attack simply kept going.
The spear drilled deeper...
Deeper...
Until...
BOOOOOM!!
Another explosion erupted inside the wyvern.
Its enormous body flew backwards like a broken kite.
It smashed through several towering stone pillars before crashing heavily into the ground.
The earth shook again.
Dust rose into the air.
Then...
Silence.
Damon slowly lowered the snack in his hand.
"...That’s one way to finish a fight."
A satisfied smile appeared on his face.
"Nice work."
Freya landed lightly before him.
Her nine tails swayed proudly while tiny sparks danced across her snow white fur.
She lifted her chin proudly.
Waiting.
Damon chuckled.
"I know that look."
He crouched beside her and scratched behind her ears.
"You did great."
Freya’s ears twitched happily.
Her tails swayed even faster.
Above them, Sylphie circled proudly through the air before diving down.
She folded her four wings neatly and landed on Damon’s shoulder.
"Chrii!"
She puffed out her little chest proudly.
Damon smiled and rubbed her head.
"You were amazing too."
"You set everything up perfectly."
Sylphie happily leaned into his fingers.
Freya immediately nudged Damon’s arm with her head.
"Kyu."
"My turn again?"
Damon laughed.
"Already jealous?"
She rubbed against him once more.
He sighed dramatically.
"You really are impossible."
He scratched her chin this time.
"There."
"Happy?"
Freya finally nodded before shooting Sylphie a smug little look.
Sylphie answered with an innocent chirp.
A second later...
Both of them burst into laughter through their connection.
Damon could only shake his head.
"You two really became sisters."
His smile remained as he looked toward the crater.
...
The Stormreign Wyvern was still alive.
Barely.
Its body twitched weakly.
Blood slowly pooled beneath it.
It tried lifting its head.
Failed.
One wing moved slightly before falling back down.
Its body no longer obeyed it.
Every dead zone Sylphie had created had become the perfect path for Freya’s lightning.
Together...
They had completely broken the guardian’s defenses.
The mighty beast that had stood before the mysterious passage now lay helpless.
Its tired eyes slowly found Damon.
This time...
There was no anger.
No hatred.
Only exhaustion.
Damon walked toward it calmly.
Freya followed beside him.
Sylphie hovered quietly overhead.
The wyvern watched all three of them approach.
