I Can Fix My Talent in Hundred Lives

Chapter 1002: On the Dao Assembly

  • Next Chapter

The silent passage of time, and in the blink of an eye, three hundred years have passed.

The borders between the Spirit Mountain Buddhist Domain and Taiyi Profound Sect meet, with the majestic Tai’e Mountain stretching across the heavens and earth, its summit cleaving the fierce winds of the two domains.

On one side, the Buddha’s light shines and the chant of sutras is unending; on the other, mysterious qi swirls, and Daoist Technique is born spontaneously, marking the natural boundary between the dimensions of Buddhist and Daoist teachings.

This day, the Dao Assembly of Ten Thousand Methods begins here.

This grand event is jointly organized by the Spirit Mountain Buddhist Sect and Taiyi Profound Sect, with major Daoist traditions and prominent Major Sects, along with Purple Mansion Noble Families all attending the assembly, gathering powers from all directions for a grand competition of myriad techniques.

Debating the Dao has never been about merely arguing the law!

The verbal sparring and reasoning in debate might clarify principles but are ultimately empty; only the tangible Divine Techniques and Great Dao are the true foundations upon which the heavens rest, and through which all cultivators are subdued.

Thus, the ancient battlefield of Divine Demons preserved in Tai’e Mountain’s heart is the place for the Magical Combat of this assembly.

This place carries traces of ancient Divine Demon battles; the Void Barrier here is incomparably strong, capable of withstanding the full force of Purple Mansion Great Power’s assault, ensuring the battlefield doesn’t collapse and impacts don’t affect the spectators.

At this moment.

A hushed silence envelops the venue, and all eyes are fixed on the center of the battlefield.

In the arena stands a youthful monk, with lips crimson and teeth white, clear brows and refined features, draped in a scarlet monk’s robe, barefoot on the fire patterns of the void, his aura restrained without a trace of arrogance.

This is Chonglou Bodhisattva of the Fangri Star Constellation lineage from Spirit Mountain, the foremost prodigy of the age.

He lifted his gaze towards the Celestial River True Master, shrouded in purple robes standing amidst the water clouds opposite, his expression gentle and serene, folding one hand in a gesture of greeting and speaking with composure:

“Friend Celestial River, please teach me.”

As the words fell, Chonglou formed the Fangri Innate Buddha Seal with both hands, while around him, three Innate Divine Techniques, already perfected, erupted simultaneously.

Crimson Fangri Radiance soared to the heavens, as three Star Constellation Dao Patterns intertwined and fused, transforming into a boundless fiery sea that burned the world.

Within the fiery sea, thousands of three-headed, six-armed King protectors emerged chanting sutras, the Buddha’s voice echoing mightily to shatter the water and clouds of the nine heavens, layer upon layer of mini Buddha realms unfolded, the Light of the Buddha weighing down on the eight directions, soaring above the water’s Dao.

Celestial River True Master nodded lightly, his demeanor solemn:

“Indeed.”

Behind him, four Divine Technique lights rotated endlessly, the boundless azure Water Virtue divine light transformed into layers of water-cloud auspicious clouds suspended behind his head, intricate water vein Dao chains threaded through his limbs and body, his cultivation immeasurably deep.

He truly is a Four Methods Purple Mansion True Master, with four Innate Divine Techniques perfect and complete, an advantage in realm overwhelming Chonglou Bodhisattva with only three Divine Techniques, a case of high versus low, big versus small.

At this moment, a sharp glint sparkled in Celestial River True Master’s eyes, leaving only one thought: in this battle, he must not lose!

His hands swiftly formed the Water Dao True Seal, beneath his feet, boundless water vapor surged and unfolded locally, creating an independent complete Water Virtue world.

Infinite abysses, intertwined dark currents, countless primordial serpents lay dormant in the depths, scales glistening with a chilling water glow, absorbing pure water Dao spiritual qi, a fearsome and aggressive aura permeating the entire area.

Booming!!

The grand sun fire sea descended in torrents, while billions of river waves surged skyward!

Fire and flood intermingled wildly, obliterating each other, spatial layers of the battlefield unfolded in wrinkles, laws and currents rampant everywhere.

Their movements were extraordinarily fast, with the laws changing mysteriously and unpredictably.

Underneath, most Dao Foundation cultivators could only see the red and blue light waves colliding crazily, unable to discern the intricate details of the Divine Techniques’ flux.

Only those above the Purple Mansion level Great Power could break through the surface chaos to glimpse the profound exchange of the Great Dao within the depths of Divine Techniques.

In the spectator stands, a Purple Mansion Wood Virtue Great True Master from a side sect shook his head lightly and sighed, overwhelmed:

“The wonders of sun and water Divine Techniques are beyond our reach!”

The next moment.

The battlefield silently birthed a celestial phenomenon, with the surrounding ocean suddenly igniting spontaneously, rootless Celestial Fire swirling between clouds and water, the fire spreading long and resolute.

“Swift!!”

Chonglou intoned the secret spell of Fangri, and a string of Bodhi prayer beads around his neck ascended into the sky, connecting end to end, transforming into a Golden Bridge spanning the entire battlefield.

He stood in the heart of the bridge, Celestial Fire entwining his body, his three Innate Divine Techniques operating flawlessly without a trace of flaw.

The waves of fire bathe the sky, suspending luminously, pouring downward to illuminate the entire waterland battlefield.

Numerous water-element serpents within were scorched by True Fire, their flesh dissolving inch by inch, all turning into pure white vapor rising.

The vapor descending, reshaped by Fangri Star Power, transformed into gentle Star Constellation Spiritual Objects scattered across the battlefield, nurturing the surrounding Path of Light.

In the spectator stands, a white-haired Great True Master stroked his beard and chuckled lightly, eyes full of admiration and wonder:

“I’ve long heard that there emerged a peerless prodigy in the Fangri lineage of Spirit Mountain, traversing the world barefoot and unbeaten among peers; seeing them today, indeed, the name is well-deserved.”

“Even mastering just three Innate Divine Techniques, yet able to directly suppress the Four Methods Celestial River True Master, such grandeur makes me believe in a reincarnation of the ancient Fangri True Monarch!”

Nearby, the Taiyi Profound Sect True Masters fell into complete silence.

Previously, eight Great True Masters from the Profound Sect took the stage one after another without exception, all defeated at the hands of Chonglou, unable to withstand his three rounds of assaults.

In utter desperation, the more experienced Celestial River True Master stepped onto the battlefield personally, only to reclaim the losses and maintain the sect’s dignity.

Yet now, as Celestial River True Master becomes increasingly suppressed, constrained at every corner, the hearts of the Profound Sect members grow heavier.

In contrast, within the Buddhist Sect’s spectator area, Bodhisattvas and Lohans displayed serene smiles.

No matter which lineage within Spirit Mountain they belonged to, the victory of a fellow disciple was the glory of the entire Spirit Mountain.

Among the seats of the Great Snow Mountain Buddhist Sect, a chubby little monk sat in front, his small face tensed, eyes wide open staring at the battlefield, filled with anxiety.

Having just entered the Dao Foundation recently, the monk lacked the vision to comprehend the battle’s intricacies,

He could only look to the side at the serene and subtly illuminated Formless Bodhisattva, quietly calling:

“Master.”

Witnessing this, Formless Bodhisattva shook his head with a helpless smile, his tone filled with affection:

“You child, cultivation emphasizes the calm heart and insight into the Dao; yet this small Magical Combat disrupts your Dao Heart, lacking composure.”

Though speaking in such a lecturing tone, he still patiently began to explain the entire battle situation to his young disciple.

He, being one of the few in Spirit Mountain to frequently listen to the Buddha personally teaching the Great Dao, his vision surpasses most cultivators present, accurately discerning the essence of the battle:

“Chonglou Bodhisattva’s talent is astounding, his Divine Techniques masterful and mysterious, and he must have obtained some sort of secret opportunity, forcibly giving his orthodox Star Constellation Divine Techniques an innate trait that counters the water Dao.”

“Therefore, he currently has the upper hand, firmly suppressing Celestial River True Master.”

In this dimension, the sun and water Star Constellations overpower other lineages but do not inherently counteract each other.

The fact that Chonglou broke this ancient balance with Tier Three Divine Techniques perplexed even him.

Suddenly turning, Formless Bodhisattva’s eyes deepened, revealing the fatal flaw:

“Yet the disparity in realms is ultimately a towering gap that cannot be completely crossed.”

“Celestial River True Master, with Four Methods Perfection, has far deeper Dao career foundations than Chonglou; though seemingly at a disadvantage now, in truth, he guards his heart in the vast waters and his Dao Foundation is steady as a rock.”

“Once engaged in a protracted battle, he will fully adapt to the counteracting rules and use his profound Dao career to forcefully counterattack, while Chonglou’s Divine Techniques will exhaust their strength, plunging him into a deadlock.”
