I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 145: The Fourth Test

Chapter 145: The Fourth Test

Leon turned and slowly walked back to his spot.

Every pair of eyes followed his every step.

There was no smug smile on his face. No trace of arrogance. Only quiet certainty.

He hadn’t come here to show off. Nor had he come to prove himself to anyone. He was here for one reason alone — to pass the tests, enter the military training camp, and obtain his hunter’s license.

Stopping beside Henry, Leon turned around and calmly waited for the next student to be called or for the next test to begin.

Henry stared at him as if he were looking at a ghost.

"Bro..." Several seconds passed before he finally found his voice. "What the heck was that? You just broke the whole mana meter? No... ’break’ isn’t the right word. You sneaky bastard, you completely shattered it. You destroyed that thing without mercy. How much more are you hiding? Tell me beforehand so I can be prepared and not end up with a heart attack in the future." He said with a very serious face.

Leon couldn’t help but chuckle at those words. "Stop being dramatic. Focus on yourself. It’ll be your turn soon."

"My turn, my ass." Henry snorted. "You destroyed the entire dummy. What am I supposed to punch now? Thin air?"

The corners of Miss Cicimore’s lips curved into a faint smile.

The female classmate who surely had a thing for Leon looked at him with sparkling eyes filled with admiration.

Meanwhile, the young woman who had followed Leon narrowed her eyes. "Strong... but just how strong? That punch was completely casual, yet it destroyed the target dummy. I definitely wouldn’t forget meeting someone like him. Yet I have this nagging feeling that I had an encounter with him but can’t remember." She whispered. ’Focus, Snow, focus. Where have you seen him?’

Suddenly, a figure flashed through her mind.

A naked man.

In her memory, she saw herself hurling one fireball after another at a shameless pervert.

Multiple wounds covered his body. Yet every injury healed almost instantly.

She then cast advanced spells, massive holes blasting through his chest.

Yet...

He regenerated. Again.

The woman came back from her memory. Her expression stiffened as she instinctively took a step backward.

"It’s him..." Her voice was barely a whisper.

"I’m sure of it.

The perverted monster."

Without another glance, she spun around and hurried out of the chamber as though remaining there for even one more second would put her life in danger.

No one noticed her departure. Everyone was still too stunned by what they had just witnessed.

James finally regained his senses. His face twisted with disbelief and suppressed anger.

"How is that possible?" Murmurs gradually spread through the hall.

"He actually destroyed it?"

"Was the dummy already worn out after being used for so many years?"

No one answered.

No one knew what to think.

After all, someone who had failed the mana test was supposed to be an ordinary person. The punch should have reached only around 160 to 170 kilograms at most.

Yet Leon hadn’t merely achieved a high score.

He had reduced the entire target dummy to scrap metal with a single punch.

The gym trainer looked helplessly at the shattered remains scattered across the floor.

"We’ll have to move to another testing room," he said with a sigh. "Everyone, wait here. I’ll call you once the next room is ready."

With that, he turned around and left.

Henry leaned toward Leon and lowered his voice. "He’s not going to make you pay for that... is he?"

Leon blinked before saying thoughtfully.

"I don’t think so. Relax."

A few minutes later, the gym trainer returned.

"Alright, everyone. Let’s go. The next testing room is ready."

The teachers and students followed behind him.

Almost instinctively, everyone kept a respectful distance from Leon. Nearly every pair of eyes remained fixed on him, watching him walk, breathe, and occasionally chat with Henry.

Their classmate suddenly felt like a completely different person. It was as though an entirely different soul had taken over his body.

"Congratulations, Leon," Miss Cicimore said with a smile as she walked beside him. "I had no idea you were this strong. Was it because of your recent awakening, or have you been hiding your strength all this time?"

"Of course not, Miss Cicimore." Leon shook his head. "I was fortunate to awaken recently. Before that, I’d already given up on ever becoming a hunter."

Miss Cicimore nodded. "I see. Either way, keep working hard. I want to have more surprises." She chuckled. After a brief pause, she added, "But don’t forget about your final exams."

"Of course, Miss."

Before long, they arrived at the new testing room.

The gym trainer once again began calling students one by one. Soon, the second test was completed.

Next came the third test, the long jump.

As the trainer continued calling names, the students sprinted forward one after another before launching themselves across the artificial jumping lane.

Before long, the third test came to an end as well.

Leon frowned slightly. "Excuse me."

He raised his hand. "My name wasn’t called. Was there a mistake?"

"No." The gym trainer smiled. "You’ve already passed. There’s no need for you to take any more tests."

Outwardly, he remained calm. Inwardly, however, he nearly burst into tears. ’As if I’d ever let you destroy another piece of equipment. Keep dreaming, kid.’

None of the other students objected. Nor did they think it was unfair.

After witnessing Leon shatter the target dummy with a single punch, no one doubted he could easily pass the remaining tests.

Even so...

Many of them were still struggling to believe what they had seen.

The fourth test began and ended quickly.

"That’s all, students." The gym trainer smiled. "I’m glad to see so many promising future hunters in a single class. Keep working hard."

"Alright, students. Let’s head back," the male teacher standing beside him said.

The students began filing out of the testing room. Some wore excited smiles, while others looked disappointed by their performance.

Leon, however, didn’t leave.

He deliberately stayed at the back. After everyone else had exited, he walked over to the gym trainer.

The trainer noticed him approaching and narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Sir," Leon said politely, "if you don’t mind, could I take the fourth test as well?"

’I really want to see how much gravity I can withstand now that my HP has surpassed seventy.’
