Right after Leon cracked the crystal, white mist had swallowed him. He felt like he was falling into a bottomless pit. The moment the white mist dispersed after several seconds, Leon found solid ground beneath his feet once again.
A cold breeze brushed against his skin. He slowly opened his eyes. A familiar ice land stretched endlessly before him.
Nexar.
Leon was back inside the hidden realm he was trapped in earlier with Emily and others.
But before he could even take a single step...
BOOOOOOM!
A deafening explosion erupted somewhere ahead. The shockwave swept across the frozen plain like a raging hurricane.
Leon’s pupils contracted. "Fuck! What the h..." Before he could finish speaking, the violent blast slammed into him.
Bang!
His body was sent flying through the air before crashing heavily onto the icy ground.
Crack!
The frozen surface shattered beneath him as he skidded hundreds of meters, leaving behind a long trench of broken ice before finally coming to a stop.
He quickly pushed himself to his feet. What greeted him ahead was totally blood-freezing.
Far in the distance...
Two colossal serpents were locked in a brutal battle.
The white serpent. The one that had saved Leon and everyone else last time.
And another one. A pitch-black serpent.
It was even larger than the white serpent.
Its body stretched for hundreds of meters across the frozen plains. Every black scale gleamed like polished obsidian, while crimson eyes radiated a murderous intent capable of freezing one’s soul.
The white serpent lunged first. Its enormous tail whipped through the air, aiming for the black one’s head. But the black serpent lowered its massive head, dodging the attack with ease.
BOOOOM!
The strike missed its target and slammed into a glacier instead, shattering it into countless fragments.
The black serpent rammed forward. The white wasn’t backing down either. Both colossal beings slammed against each other with a loud bang.
The collision sent a violent shockwave exploding across the battlefield.
Mountains of ice collapsed in the distance.
The earth split apart. Snowstorms were blown away for kilometers.
The two monstrous beasts coiled around each other, their gigantic bodies twisting like living mountains.
Suddenly...
The black serpent reared its head, widening its enormous jaws. And then... It thrust its head forward.
Crunch!
Its fangs sank deep into the white serpent’s neck.
A painful roar echoed throughout the Icy land.
Before the white serpent could break free, the black serpent tightened its jaws and violently swung its head.
The gigantic white serpent was lifted completely off the ground.
Then...
Like a discarded toy...
It was hurled through the air.

"Oh, shit!" Leon’s expression changed drastically.
The colossal body rapidly grew larger in his vision.

The white serpent slammed into the frozen ground just a few metres before him. The impact was so terrifying that the earth caved in. Leon was blasted away by the sheer force. An enormous crater formed instantly.
Its sheer size resembled an underground village.
Countless cracks spread for kilometers in every direction as glaciers collapsed into the abyss.
The black serpent wasn’t finished yet. Its crimson eyes blazed with murderous intent as it slithered relentlessly toward the white serpent.
Slowly...
The white serpent raised its head.
Fresh blood dripped from the bite wound on its neck. Its icy-green eyes burned with determination as it lunged forward.
Suddenly...
A blinding light erupted from the white serpent’s body. Its entire form was engulfed in a white radiance.
Moments later, an exquisite crown of crystal ice materialized around its head, extending gracefully down to its neck. At the same time, a frost guard formed around the base of its tail.
The white serpent’s aura skyrocketed.

It vanished.

It moved so fast that it seemed to disappear.

The two colossal serpents collided once more.

The outcome was completely different.
The black serpent was blasted backward without the slightest resistance.

They didn’t launch immediately.
Instead, the spears began whirling, faster and faster, leaving behind icy trails that filled the air with a terrifying chill.
The rotation grew so violent that even the surrounding space seemed to tremble.

The white serpent thrust its head forward.

The five spears shot through the air like bolts of divine judgment.

The first spear pierced straight through the center of the black serpent’s body.

The second impaled its tail.

The third tore through its head.

The fourth pierced its neck.

The final spear drove through its skull once more, pinning its massive body to the frozen ground.

The black serpent crashed onto the icy plain, creating a colossal crater upon impact.
Silence.
Complete silence.
Only the frigid wind continued to howl across the frozen wasteland.
The black serpent no longer moved.
Not even a twitch.
Dark blood rapidly spread beneath its colossal body, staining the snow.
Leon stood in the distance, witnessing everything with disbelief. The white serpent’s overwhelming might had left him utterly speechless.
Just as the white serpent was about to move...
It suddenly sensed someone’s gaze. Its icy-green eyes instantly locked onto Leon.
For a brief moment...
It froze.
The next instant, its colossal body was enveloped in a brilliant white light. The enormous serpent rapidly shrank. When the light faded, a beautiful young woman stood where the serpent had been.
Her eyes sparkled with joy.
"Master?"
A radiant smile blossomed across her face.
