I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 334: Stronger Than S-Class

  • Next Chapter

Snow stared at Lamia with widened eyes. It was her first time seeing Lamia in action. When she had arrived at Leon’s home, the fight was already over. She was curious about this person who would strangely appear now and then, but she didn’t bother much about her. After all, Leon himself was full of mysteries. But the fight, or more precisely the one-sided massacre just now, left her totally speechless.

Emily and Sol, meanwhile, didn’t look that surprised. They had seen what she was truly capable of. The fight just now wasn’t even close to describing how dangerous she was. Just her true appearance would be enough to send these S-Class monsters to death’s door in shock.

Lamia walked back toward them and stopped. Leon remained seated, his mind totally focused. At the moment, his consciousness was trying to reach the ninth layer in the Astral River once more.

A figure was observing him from a distance. It was the same person who had tried to stop him from entering the ninth layer the first time. But this time, he showed no sign of intervening. But his face carried a mixture of anger, shock, and anticipation. "This brat is impossible. He’s here for a second Avatar? What the hell is he?" He whispered while observing Leon’s movements.

Leon was almost there, at the edge of the eighth layer, trying his best to force his way into the ninth layer.

Inside the dungeon, Leon’s real body started glowing. A crimson hue enveloped him. And it wasn’t just the glow. The temperature rose around him. Emily and others could feel it from their position.

Leon’s chest was slowly rising and falling. Beads of sweat piled on his forehead before slowly rolling down. Other than that, no more movement.

"What’s big bro trying to do?" Sol whispered. He looked overly curious to know what was actually going on.

"Just wait and see. You guys are in for a big show." Lamia chuckled mysteriously.

"Who are you, by the way?" Snow suddenly asked. She had seen Lamia with Leon. But she wasn’t sure what their relationship was. She and Frenrir would address Leon as Master. But last time, after Renata had appeared and kissed Leon, Lamia had hidden herself with Leon behind an ice wall. She didn’t know what happened and now seemed to be the perfect time to inquire about that.

Lamia’s grin widened. "Why? Feeling threatened, are you?"

Snow narrowed her eyes.

Emily also wasn’t pleased, but her expression remained neutral. She knew Lamia had a far deeper connection with Leon. Maybe even Leon wasn’t aware how deep that was.

"You didn’t answer my question." Snow pressed. She had to know if Lamia was also her rival.

Sol meanwhile stared at Snow in shock. ’Is she nuts!’ He mused inwardly. ’If she is pissed, she will just have to snap her fingers, and we will be puffed out.’ Sol wiped the sweat from his forehead, worried.

Lamia continued to look at Snow with amusement. She had lived for eons. She had seen people fall in love and do stupid things in it. Snow’s behavior wasn’t something new to her. But she didn’t find that amusing. The fact that someone born just approximately twenty years ago was actually trying to see through her, trying to intimidate her, was what she found amusing.

Seeing that Lamia had no intention to cooperate, Snow was about to speak when Lamia raised her hand. "We can talk about it later on. For now... We have company." As she spoke, rustling sounds could be heard.

Thud!

Thud!

Thud!

More monsters started appearing. This time... Even stronger than S-Class level. The air was thick around them. The aura that emanated was suffocating. But not Disaster Class level either. Emily looked at them, and so did the others. Snow’s expression changed. Not because the monsters were stronger than even S-Class. But because of their sheer number. This time, there were more than one hundred monsters, at minimum.

Lamia walked toward them without hesitation.

Snow also walked forward this time. She was clearly not in their league. Even a single monster would be enough to snap her life. But she wasn’t going to stay back and let Lamia take all the credit.

Emily and Sol also prepared themselves for the fight. Frenrir didn’t. Lamia had clearly instructed not to interfere, and so he wouldn’t until she changed her order. He knew her very well. He knew what this gorgeous, charming-looking lady could do if provoked.

Bella meanwhile returned home with the young lady. As they entered the hall, Boman was already there, standing with his second wife.

"You asked for me?" Bella asked without the slightest bit of emotion, as if she were a robot. She looked at Boman directly.

Though being the elder one, Boman felt guilty standing before his daughter like this. But seeing him just standing like that, his wife snapped. "What’s wrong with you? Explain it to her already." She said unhappily.

Boman sighed inwardly and started. "Bella, you know what your grandpa’s condition is now. So..." Before Boman could finish, Bella spoke coldly... "I am not marrying that playboy. If you like him so much, and the family can’t be saved without a marriage collaboration between the two families, why not let Shila marry him? I believe she will definitely be thrilled."

The young lady who had brought her back snapped instantly. "Watch your mouth. Who told you I want to marry him? And you know exactly why he wants to marry you. So don’t try to pretend. If you don’t..."

"Enough!" Boman shouted, cutting Shila off immediately.

"I didn’t call you back for the marriage. The marriage still isn’t off the table. At least not for now. But whether we can change that depends on you. And that’s the reason I called you urgently." Boman explained.

"What do you mean?" Bella’s eyes narrowed. She could feel it. Something was going on, and it definitely wasn’t positive.

"I believe you already know about the death zone." Boman’s wife spoke this time, looking directly at Bella.
