Chapter 33: going to meet demon queen
Even the massive, four-armed commander froze mid-air, his clubs falling from his hands as he violently slammed his face against the ground sweating profusely.
"Q-Queen..." the commander choked out, his voice shaking with absolute fear.
Dante stood completely still in the middle of the kneeling army. His eyes narrowed. He looked around, his mind racing. ’A mental transmission?’ She is miles away in the palace, but her voice can freeze an entire S-rank vanguard army instantly. This woman is dangerously strong.
The voice spoke inside the demons’ heads once more, cold and absolute.
’’Bring the human to my throne room alive.’’
The transmission cut off, and the crushing pressure vanished.
The cavern remained completely silent for a few seconds. The four-armed commander slowly raised his head, his eyes wide with confusion and lingering terror. He looked at Dante, then at the dead bodies on the floor, his teeth grinding in frustration. He hated humans, but he feared his Queen infinitely more.
The commander stood up, brushing the ground off his scales. He looked at Dante with an angry, murderous glare. "You are incredibly lucky, human. The Great Queen wants to see you. Drop your weapon and follow us quietly, or we will drag your corpse across the stones."
Dante looked at the commander, then down at his right hand. The invisible sword was burning his skin, but since the demons were no longer attacking, he didn’t need to fight his way through.
"I don’t need to drop anything," Dante said in a uncaring tone, shoving his right hand back into his pocket to conceal the invisible blade. "Lead the way. I was looking for her anyway."
The commander gritted his teeth but didn’t dare to argue. He turned around and shouted to his terrified army. "Form up! Escort the human to the central palace gates immediately!"
Dante walked calmly in the center of the demon legion as they began to march deeper into the dark, underground world, leaving the piles of ash behind.
In the journey no demon or anyone try to do something to Dante, everything was quite.
Then they finally come to the place where the Queen palace was and then they enter that big palace.
After entering The doors of the central palace big gate closed behind Dante.
He didn’t look back at the legion of demon soldiers standing guard outside. Instead, he kept his hands deep inside his pockets and walked down the long, polished black stone hall. The air pressure here was incredibly dense, but his expression remained completely deadpan as he approached the high crystal throne.
The demon queen was seting there leaning back, watching him approach with her red, attractive eyes.
She looked jaw-droppingly beautiful, but she radiated absolute dominance. Her sleek black lace corset top tightly hugged her slender waist, framing her large chest perfectly as it rested prominently against the fabric. Her long, silk-black hair ran all the way down past her waist, contrasting sharply with her flawless white skin.
Below her waist, the draped layers of her wrap skirt were pulled back along a high slit, completely exposing her long, smooth thigh as she sat cross-legged. Behind her, a thick, black tail covered in jagged bone-shards scraped against the stone, its sharp arrow tip twitching with impatience.
Rising majestically from her forehead were her massive, unicorn-style horns. They were pitch-black with a deep, polished purple sheen, curving upward like sharp regal crowns.
Twelve elite guards in crimson armor stood like statues along the walls, holding long spears.
Dante stopped exactly ten paces from the throne steps. He didn’t kneel. He didn’t even take his hands out of his pockets.
Esabella let out a low, amused laugh, her full red lips curling into a seductive smile. "So, you are the human gutter rat who caused all that noise in my tunnels. I expected a giant or a veteran hunter, not a handsome little stray. Tell me, human, do you know where you are standing?"
"I don’t care about the name of the room," Dante said. "I’m only here for the core of this floor. Tell me where it is, and I’ll leave your palace in one piece."
The crimson guards instantly ground their teeth in anger.
"Insolent brat!" the lead guard shouted, stepping forward with his spear raised. "You are speaking to the Great Queen Esabella! Drop to your knees and beg for mercy, or I will pierce your throat right now!"
Dante didn’t even look at the guard. He kept his eyes locked on Esabella. "I don’t like repeating myself. Where is the core?"
"Lower your weapon, you idiot," Esabella commanded the guard. Her voice wasn’t loud, but it carried a cold pressure that made the guard freeze instantly, sweat pouring down his face as he stepped back.
Esabella slowly stood up from her throne. Her wide hips swayed gracefully as she walked down the stone steps, the high slit of her skirt parting with every dangerous, sexy step she took to reveal her long pure smooth white legs. She stopped just three meters away from Dante, uncoiling a long, dark whip covered in sharp metallic thorns from her hip.
"You have a very brave mouth for a human without a powerful connection here," Esabella whispered, her eyes glowing with a dangerous hunger. "In this graveyard, everything belongs to me. If you want the core, you have to take it from my dead hands. But a fragile little thing like you will probably break on my first swing."
"Then stop talking and show me your power," Dante said smoothly.
