I Can Transfer the Side Effects of Evil Skills
Chapter 786 - 452: Infinite Day Reading
Seeing Zhu Caiwei reveal her true form, Zou Feng’s eyes burst with blinding blood-red light. He unleashed the full might of his Soul-Seizing Blood Eyes and Great Universal Hand, executing a Fusion Skill. This "Cold Glance" caught Zhu Caiwei almost completely off guard, forcing her to bear the brunt of it entirely. Her entire body trembled before she quickly froze in place, plunging into a seemingly endless Illusion Realm.
That Illusion Realm, forged entirely by Zou Feng, was enough to allow Zhu Caiwei to attain everything she desired within it. In truth, at Zou Feng’s level, the interaction between Poison Cultivators was no longer strictly limited to physical intimacy. Interacting through a special Illusion Realm as a bridge yielded nearly identical results. Not to mention, the mind could inherently influence the physical body. Simply put, this Illusion Realm was a world that could bring Zhu Caiwei true "happiness." However, with Zou Feng’s current Realm, he could not maintain this kind of Small Thousand World for very long. After all, creating a Small Thousand World was technically an ability exclusive to a Nascent Soul Realm Cultivator.
And so, Zhu Caiwei was tossed and turned within the Illusion Realm for more than half the night before she finally jolted awake. But this awakening was not an escape from the Illusion Realm; rather, it was to utilize the benefits she had reaped within it to immediately undergo Nascent Soul Formation on the spot. As she woke, Zhu Caiwei automatically reverted to her human form. In the sky above, dark red tribulation clouds began to rapidly converge.
"She’s undergoing Nascent Soul Formation already!?" Seeing this, even Zou Feng was slightly astonished.
He knew Zhu Caiwei would gain benefits akin to "personal intimacy" with him in the Illusion Realm, but he never expected those benefits to be so immense that they would trigger immediate Nascent Soul Formation. Come to think of it, didn’t the glance he cast earlier literally make him capable of impregnating anyone he looked at? It was also Zou Feng’s first time witnessing the tribulation clouds of a Cultivator undergoing Nascent Soul Formation. Observing it in advance like this was actually a good thing.
He couldn’t help but think, "But... I have a feeling Zhu Caiwei won’t be able to survive the Celestial Tribulation..."
With this thought, Zou Feng immediately prepared to lend Zhu Caiwei a helping hand. In reality, intervening in someone else’s tribulation was akin to playing with fire. One must know that even a Nascent Soul Realm Cultivator wouldn’t dare casually interfere with another’s tribulation. The Celestial Tribulation itself was a terrifying Power of Cause and Effect. Becoming tainted by this disaster-type Cause and Effect would bring extreme misfortune; one might not even know how they died in the future.
Zou Feng was, of course, well aware of these risks. The reason he didn’t care was naturally that he had his "big brothers" to shoulder the burden. He didn’t need to worry about such things.
Once the tribulation clouds fully formed, they immediately unleashed a dense, unrelenting barrage of Heavenly Tribulation strikes upon Zhu Caiwei, who sat cross-legged on the ground. A massive deluge of dark red lightning fell like rain, every single bolt striking Zhu Caiwei without missing a beat. Zhu Caiwei’s brows furrowed tightly under the bombardment as she bitterly held on. However, she appeared to be largely unharmed and could endure for a while longer. But Zou Feng knew full well that a Celestial Tribulation was never this simple. This was definitely just the beginning.
Sure enough, in the next moment, the tribulation clouds flared with power again, condensing the dark red lightning into a Giant Spider. The Giant Spider’s appearance bore a striking resemblance to Zhu Caiwei’s true form. Then, the Thunder Giant Spider crashed down like a meteorite, instantly turning the surroundings into a lightning Purgatory. The lightning rampaged, blinding all vision, but Zhu Caiwei’s agonized screams could faintly be heard.
Zou Feng keenly caught the hint of despair hidden within Zhu Caiwei’s screams. He immediately formed a Dharma Seal with his hands and flicked a finger toward her location. A constantly spinning Golden Lotus materialized around Zhu Caiwei, resisting the Heavenly Tribulation on her behalf. The pressure bearing down on Zhu Caiwei instantly plummeted.
The next moment, she opened her eyes in disbelief and looked at Zou Feng. Zhu Caiwei truly never expected that Zou Feng would go as far as to taint himself with Cause and Effect just to aid her. She wondered if he wasn’t afraid that his own Celestial Tribulation would be even more ferocious when he underwent Nascent Soul Formation in the future. Amidst her shock, for the first time, Zhu Caiwei genuinely entertained the thought that following Zou Feng for the rest of her life wouldn’t be such a bad idea.
The dark red lightning continued to bombard Zhu Caiwei in ever-changing ways. The onslaught lasted for more than an hour. Several times during the process, Zhu Caiwei showed signs of nearly collapsing. Fortunately, at every critical juncture, the Golden Lotus would appear to alleviate the pressure on her. Just like that, the Celestial Tribulation finally began to weaken, and the tribulation clouds in the sky showed obvious signs of scattering.
He wondered if she had succeeded.
In Zou Feng’s eyes, Nascent Soul Formation was truly akin to childbirth. The Celestial Tribulation acted as a force trying to stop the Cultivator from "giving birth" to their Nascent Soul. As the tribulation clouds gradually vanished, a glowing little spider indeed appeared in Zhu Caiwei’s embrace. The little spider quickly shifted into human form before vanishing into Zhu Caiwei’s body.
With her Nascent Soul returning to its proper place, Zhu Caiwei stood up with wild ecstasy in her eyes. She didn’t rush to experience the changes brought by her elevated Realm. Instead, she immediately dashed in front of Zou Feng and bowed. "Thank you for granting me this chance, Master!"
"Your foundation is unstable," Zou Feng said indifferently. "You shouldn’t have rashly attempted Nascent Soul Formation this quickly... Never mind, as long as you succeeded, it’s fine. Let’s head back."
Although Zou Feng didn’t finish his thought, Zhu Caiwei knew exactly what he was trying to say. Looking back at her attempt just now, she realized it was truly no different from courting death. Without Zou Feng’s help, she would have long been fried to a crisp by the Heavenly Tribulation. Yet, even though she barely managed to complete her Nascent Soul Formation with his intervention, her foundation remained unstable. Ascending even further to the Divinity Transformation Realm in the future was now nearly hopeless.
Fortunately, Zhu Caiwei felt that becoming a Nascent Soul Great Demon was already enough. This was a Realm that countless gifted Cultivators might fail to reach even over multiple lifetimes.
