Chapter 173: Chapter 173: The Fate of the White Tiger Clan Leader

A relieved smile appeared on the White Tiger Clan Leader’s face when he saw Ophelia agree. Seeing that she intended to absorb them into the Fu Clan, Bai Ma steadied his breathing.

"Alright, Ophelia," Bai Ma said. "If you want to absorb the Tiger Clan, I can agree to spare their people, but he and that little bitch must die." The "little bitch" referred to Hu Ya’s mother.

The White Dragon Clan Leader also looked stern. "Ophelia, if you still consider me your uncle, then do not stop us."

"Alright," Ophelia said. "He and his mate are yours to deal with."

The White Tiger Clan Leader knew he couldn’t escape this fate; he didn’t struggle. His eyes were simply red. "Ophelia, my son Hu Ya is innocent. He knew nothing of what I did. Please, for the sake of his youth, spare him this time."

Ophelia pursed her lips. She knew this matter had nothing to do with Hu Ya, but the boy had mercilessly bullied Lobak and had even followed the White Tiger Clan Leader’s orders to drown him today. His actions were enough to show his vicious and cold-blooded nature. If she let him go, he might return to seek revenge against her later. She really didn’t want to agree.

Beside her, Tyler saw her reluctance. Taking pity on Hu Ya’s young age, he spoke up to plead for him. "Princess, Hu Ya is still young. Why not just let him go? We can simply banish him from the Tiger Clan Tribe."

For a young and weak cub, being banished from the tribe was already a fatal blow. Ophelia thought for a moment and agreed to Tyler’s request.

Tears slipped from the White Tiger Clan Leader’s eyes. He sincerely thanked her, "Thank you, Ophelia."

Ophelia couldn’t help but sigh inwardly at his defeated appearance. Actually, after getting to know him over this period, she had been very interested in cooperating with the White Tiger Clan Leader to grow crops together. But the fact that he was capable of committing marriage fraud and murdering his wife was enough to immediately cross him off her list of potential partners. It was truly a pity. Instead of being a decent person, he insisted on being a beast.

The White Dragon Clan Leader looked at his son. "Go back to the White Dragon Clan and gather a team of males to stand guard outside the White Tiger Clan. Starting tonight, no one is allowed to leave the White Tiger Clan; they may only enter."

Bai Ma knew this was to prevent that little female from escaping. He agreed immediately.

So, when Hu Ya returned to the White Tiger Clan, he saw a squad of unfamiliar males standing outside the gates of the Tiger Clan Tribe.

Bai Ma stood at the front, briefing them. "Keep your wits about you tonight. The White Tiger Clan is strictly entry-only. Even if it’s just a dog hole, you must guard it closely."

"Yes, Young Clan Leader."

At this time, the White Dragon Clan Leader returned, escorting the captive White Tiger Clan Leader. Seeing his father in such a wretched state, Hu Ya became agitated and wanted to rush out. As if by telepathy, the White Tiger Clan Leader spotted Hu Ya hiding in the corner. He shook his head at the boy and mouthed silently, "Don’t come over. Run."

Hu Ya’s eyes were red, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white. He wondered how things had ended up like this. If he had known it would turn out this way, he never would have taken Wendy to watch the spectacle. Nor would he have let his companions bully Lobak. Without him doing that, none of today’s events would have happened. Gritting his teeth, Hu Ya swore to himself, "Wendy, Lobak, I will get my revenge for this."

Hu Ya hid in the bushes all night and woke up the next day to a burst of commotion. By now, a considerable number of clan members had gathered outside the entrance to the Tiger Clan Tribe.

"What right do you have to keep us from leaving? Let us out to hunt!"

"Yeah! You people from the White Dragon Clan actually dare to run wild on our White Tiger Clan’s territory! Let us leave immediately, or don’t blame us for getting ugly."

Two hot-tempered males had already started shouting. Bai Ma swept a cold gaze over the crowd. "What’s the rush? We have a good show for you to watch, so quiet down."

Seeing Ophelia, Tyler, Zerev, and the others arriving, Bai Ma gestured for his men to bring up the White Tiger Clan Leader. Tied up alongside him was a young and beautiful little female. She had delicate, pretty features, looking as pitiful as a fragile white flower. Teary-eyed, the little female looked at the White Tiger Clan Leader. "Cousin."

Even bound, the White Tiger Clan Leader struggled to squeeze closer to her. "Don’t be afraid, Cousin. I’m here."

"How deeply devoted of you," Bai Ma sneered. "You killed my sister just for a little female like this. Today, I’ll make the two of you pay with your lives for what you did to her."

The White Tiger Clan Leader shouted frantically. "Bai Ma, I was the one who poisoned Tina! It has nothing to do with my cousin! She doesn’t know anything!"

"Doesn’t know?" Bai Ma retorted. "If she hadn’t existed, would you have poisoned my sister? No matter what you say, I will absolutely not let her off." Since learning the true cause of his sister’s death, the blazing fury in Bai Ma’s chest had found no release. If it weren’t for Ophelia needing the White Tiger Clan, he truly would have taken his anger out on the rest of the White Tiger Clan members to quench his rage.

"Bai Ma, I’m begging you to let her go. You can kill me or torture me, I’ll accept it all, but she is innocent!" The White Tiger Clan Leader kowtowed, begging sincerely.

Seeing him like this left a bad taste in Ophelia’s mouth. It seemed the White Tiger Clan Leader truly loved his cousin, yet it wasn’t enough to overcome his thirst for power, which had led to his marriage fraud. Otherwise, their family of three could have lived happily together. Instead, things had come to this—his family was ruined, lives were lost, and he had been stripped of his position as Clan Leader.

Unable to bear seeing her mate beg so humbly, the cousin’s eyes reddened. "Cousin, you don’t need to beg him. I’m willing to die with you."

"Without you, what point is there in living?"

"Cousin." The White Tiger Clan Leader’s eyes also grew red.

Watching their display of deep affection, Tyler felt a pang of sorrow. Zerev, however, curled his lips in contempt. This was a clear case of wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Since they had done such a thing, they had to face the consequences.

"Alright, we’ll die together," the White Tiger Clan Leader said.

Bai Ma’s eyes ached just watching them be all lovey-dovey. He threw a sharply honed Bone Knife onto the ground. "Cut the crap."

The White Tiger Clan Leader still wanted to say something, but his cousin directly picked up the Bone Knife and plunged it into her own heart.

"Cousin!" The White Tiger Clan Leader’s eyes went wide.

Hiding in the grass, Hu Ya was heartbroken to see his mother commit suicide, but he could only clamp his hands tightly over his mouth to keep from making a sound.

"Cousin... I... I’ll go first and wait for you down below." With those words, she tightly closed her eyes.

The White Tiger Clan Leader coughed up a mouthful of blood. His face was as pale as a sheet of paper, but he held onto his final breath, forcing himself to rally.

"Ophelia, I can make the Tiger Clan submit to you, but you must promise me something. You cannot oppress the original members of the Tiger Clan, nor can you force their young females to mate with males from the Fuzu Tribe."

"Alright, I promise you," Ophelia nodded.

"Clan Leader!" The White Tiger Clan members’ eyes reddened at the sight.

"Ophelia! Bai Ma! You dare harm our Clan Leader? We will avenge him! We will never submit to you!" Several Tiger Clan members stepped forward, sharply denouncing Ophelia.

Tears wetting his eyes, the White Tiger Clan Leader confessed word by word to the public about his evil deeds of marriage fraud and poisoning his mate. The White Tiger Clan members were utterly shocked.

Then, before anyone could react, the White Tiger Clan Leader yanked the Bone Knife from his cousin’s body and plunged it into himself. Blood pooled across the ground, leaving behind only two corpses.
