I Grind to Martial Saint
Chapter 349 - 283: Methods
The scene left the Martial World Wanderers watching from the outskirts utterly shocked.
"This Han Yuan is no joke! He’s actually managed to suppress Kong Wenbin!"
"He’s incredible! No wonder he dared to come to Jianghe Province City and pick a fight with the Spirit Sun Sect!"
But some remained pessimistic. "It’s useless... The Spirit Sun Sect has more than just Kong Wenbin!"
At these words, the crowd instantly grew much quieter.
It was true.
Just as the man had said, the Spirit Sun Sect’s foundations ran too deep.
Merely being able to suppress Kong Wenbin was nowhere near enough.
"Let’s just keep watching and see."
Someone said gravely.
...
"Kong Wenbin, is that all the strength you have?"
"This won’t do... I’m going to cut you down!"
Han Yuan didn’t give chase. Saber in hand, he watched Kong Wenbin in the distance and grinned.
"You insolent brat, hold your tongue!"
Kong Wenbin snorted.
He had to admit, Han Yuan’s power was truly terrifying.
It wasn’t just Han Yuan’s Qi Power; his Innate True Qi was exceptionally domineering and had nearly shattered his Innate Body-Protecting Energy Shield on several occasions.
After all, the Innate Body-Protecting Energy Shield was the very reason Innate Experts had no fear of being surrounded and attacked, as it could block a multitude of strikes.
He used this time to discreetly regulate the qi within his body, allowing his Innate Body-Protecting Energy Shield to gradually stabilize.
Han Yuan, however, seemed to be in no hurry at all. He simply watched as Kong Wenbin recovered his strength.
His gaze was like that of a cat watching a mouse, filled with mocking amusement.
"This time, I will take your life!"
Having said his piece, Kong Wenbin gave a low shout, kicked off the ground, and shot toward Han Yuan.
He rapidly circulated his Innate True Qi and, with a swift tremor of his wrist, unleashed a dense flurry of crimson sword glints.
As his Inner Qi flared,
a spectral image of a crimson peacock materialized behind him. It fanned its tail, brilliant and searing.
"Fire Peacock: Chaotic Dance Kill!"
In an instant.
The void filled with a dense web of fiery red sword glints that descended to envelop Han Yuan!
"Azure Heaven: Withered!"
Han Yuan bellowed. Gripping the Dragon Sparrow Cloud-Splitting Saber with both hands, he strode forward and brought it down in a ferocious slash.
An aura of deathly stillness that seemed to silence all creation bloomed in the void.
It sent a chill of horror through the many onlookers.
SLASH!
Han Yuan swung his saber only once.
A deep, dark saber light flashed out, shattering the Fiery Red Sword Qi that filled the air.
Even the spectral fire peacock behind Kong Wenbin shrieked mournfully as the dark saber light cut it down.
SPURT!
Kong Wenbin was sent flying back more than ten meters, a ghastly wound now gaping on his chest!
Han Yuan’s slash had even broken through his Innate Energy Shield!
"Die!"
Han Yuan charged forward with a savage grin, about to end Kong Wenbin’s life with one slash.
"Cease your violence!"
An angry roar came from high above.
Naturally, Hong Pengtian wasn’t about to let Han Yuan cut down Kong Wenbin!
He soared down from the city walls, his large hand as thick and sharp as a roc’s talon as it shot toward Han Yuan’s head!
WHOOSH!!!
It was as if the very air was being crushed by his grip!
Han Yuan grinned savagely. "As if I’m afraid of you!"
As he spoke, Han Yuan let out a long cry and circulated the Innate Great Demon Qi within his body.
RUMBLE!!!
The Innate Great Demon Qi surged within him like a tidal wave, letting out a deafening roar.
A massive Fist Aura condensed around his fist.
"Celestial Spirit: Shattered Clouds!"
BOOM!
Han Yuan threw a heavy punch!
Hong Pengtian also let out a furious roar, pushing his Innate True Qi to its limit as his right hand, shaped like a claw, became wreathed in Crimson Divine Fire.
With a deafening explosion,
the fist and talon collided with brutal, unrestrained force.
The two forces were so terrifying that their impact created a violent shockwave.
The two figures were thrown apart.
"Not bad."
Han Yuan said with a faint smile.
Hong Pengtian, however, did not speak, merely looking at Han Yuan with a grave expression.
He finally understood why Kong Wenbin was no match for Han Yuan.
The young man’s power was truly terrifying.
Just then, Kong Wenbin scrambled to his feet and hurried to Hong Pengtian’s side.
Clearly, they intended to join forces against Han Yuan.
"Two against one, huh... The Spirit Sun Sect really has no shame."
"There’s nothing to be done. History only remembers the victor... and no one cares how they won."
"Even if Han Yuan loses in the end, he’s earned our respect."
Seeing this, flashes of disdain and pity crossed the faces of many in the crowd.
With the Spirit Sun Sect stooping so low, it was clear that Han Yuan had no chance of survival.
Of all the people present, there was likely only one who disagreed.
This person, naturally, was Han Yuan himself.
He looked at Hong Pengtian and Kong Wenbin and smiled faintly. "To be honest, even if a bunch of small fry like you team up, you still can’t win against me."
Hong Pengtian snorted. "Let’s see if you’re still smiling in a moment!"
With that, he and Kong Wenbin charged straight at Han Yuan.
A two-on-one fight was certainly dishonorable, so they both wanted to finish Han Yuan off as quickly as possible!
Kong Wenbin swung his fiery red longsword, unleashing one scorching, terrifyingly powerful sword gleam after another.
The sound of popping came from Hong Pengtian’s muscles and bones as his frame instantly swelled, and he viciously thrust out a palm!
As his palm shot forward, it kicked up a searing wave of fire that rolled through the air.
Faced with the joint attack of two Innate Grandmasters, Han Yuan only seemed more excited, charging forward with the Dragon Sparrow Cloud-Splitting Saber in one hand!
CLANG CLANG CLANG!!!
The three clashed madly in the wilds outside the city. The constant flash of saber and sword light cut deep gashes into the earth.
Amidst a series of thunderous booms, massive craters were blasted into the ground.
It was a spectacular duel beyond compare.
Everyone held their breath, not wanting to miss a single spectacular moment.
The battle between the three Innate Grandmasters was so intense that there was absolutely no room for error.
