I Grind to Martial Saint
Chapter 450: Harbor 2
“I’m going to a very dangerous place… I want to leave these two things with you for safekeeping, Elder.”
Han Yuan took out the stone statue that the Fat Thief had been turned into, as well as the wooden box containing the Holy Stone.
The Holy Stone was sealed in the wooden box, so it wouldn’t leak any aura.
In other words, as long as the box remained intact, nothing would happen even if it were placed next to the Source Seed Shredded Meat.
“Alright.”
Xu Hai Elder merely glanced at them and nodded lightly.
He didn’t ask why the Fat Thief had turned into a statue, nor did he ask what was inside the wooden box.
“I’m counting on you.”
Han Yuan placed the two items on the ground.
Finally, he couldn’t help but pat the Fat Thief’s head.
“Donor, are you headed for Glazed Island this time?”
Monk Xu Hai asked.
“That’s right… It’s time to settle the score between me and the Immortal Sect Organization.”
Han Yuan said.
As a Major Sect in the Great Li Dynasty, the Great Vajra Temple naturally received some news.
However, Monk Xu Hai had to guard the Source Seed Shredded Meat and couldn’t go.
“Amitabha… I hope you can return safely, Donor.”
Monk Xu Hai put his palms together.
“By the way, Abbot Xu Hai, has the Faceless Monk appeared at all since the last attack?”
Han Yuan asked.
“He has not.”
“Not just the Faceless Monk… Recently, within the territory of our Great Vajra Temple, even the frequency of Evil Demon Seed appearances has decreased significantly.”
“I suspect these Evil Demon Seeds and Source Evil Seeds haven’t disappeared.”
“Rather, they are gathering somewhere.”
Monk Xu Hai said in a low voice.
It wasn’t just him; the people from the Celestial Net Department were surely aware of this as well and were investigating where these rampaging Evil Demon Seeds and Source Evil Seeds had gone.
“Perhaps they’ve all gone to Glazed Island…”
‘Looks like it’s going to be quite a lively event this time.’
Han Yuan smiled.
“Donor Han, this is the relic left behind by Elder White Eyebrow Monk.”
“The journey to Glazed Island is fraught with peril. Take this relic with you.”
Monk Xu Hai took out a white relic.
“This…” Han Yuan was taken aback. “Abbot Xu Hai, your Great Vajra Temple must have experts going as well… Why give it to me?”
Monk Xu Hai said softly, “In your hands, this relic can display its greatest power.”
Han Yuan took a deep breath, nodded at Monk Xu Hai, and put the relic away.
He disturbed Monk Xu Hai no further and took his leave.
Without alerting anyone in the Great Vajra Temple, Han Yuan silently descended the mountain and rushed toward Li Shui Harbor.
…
「Five days later.」
Li Shui Harbor was located within Tonghai Province City.
This was the largest coastal city in the Great Li Dynasty, and also a Province City.
The entire city had numerous docks and ports, handling a massive volume of goods.
Merchant caravans came from the Celestial Moon Empire, the Profound Nether Dynasty, and even the other three continents.
The weather here was hot, and the clothing tended to be short and practical. The people were tall and lean.
After Han Yuan arrived in Tonghai City, he quickly headed for Li Shui Port.
This was the largest port in Tonghai City, but it was now completely blockaded by the Government Office. No one was allowed near, and Government Officials stood guard all along the way.
Han Yuan used his Celestial Net Department token to pass through and finally reached Li Shui Port.
As soon as he entered the port, he saw several massive ships, like colossal Sea Beasts.
Even though he had seen plenty of large vessels, the size of these great ships was certainly no smaller.
The hulls of these giant ships were engraved with mysterious runes that flickered with a Spiritual Light. They were likely even sturdier than the large vessels of his past life.
There were no more Government Office personnel here; only the Divine Fire Forbidden Army and people from the Celestial Net Department.
For this expedition to Glazed Island, the Great Li Royal Family, the Celestial Net Department, the major Noble Families, and various Sects scattered across the land had all sent their own people to gather here.
This was because the trip to Glazed Island concerned everyone’s interests.
If they waited for the Immortal Sect Organization to open the Bronze Immortal Sect, no one knew what kind of massive disaster would be unleashed.
When that time came, no one would be able to escape.
Soon, a man in Celestial Net Department attire quickly approached Han Yuan. “Palace Master Han, you’re here at last.”
Han Yuan said, surprised, “I’m not late, am I?”
According to the time Cheng Xuan had given him, tomorrow was the last day.
“No, no.”
“It’s just that Director Liang and the National Preceptor have been asking if you’ve arrived.”
“How about I take you to see them now?”
The man said quickly.
“That’s fine.”
Han Yuan nodded and followed the man aboard one of the large ships.
At that moment, many figures were gathered on the ship’s deck.
There were men and women, old and young, people in all sorts of strange and varied attire.
Daoists, monks, Feng Shui Masters, Blade Masters, Rangers…
It seemed people from every walk of life had come, talking amongst themselves in groups of two and three.
Han Yuan was led to a spacious meeting room inside the ship’s cabin.
Besides the two acquaintances, Liang Ze and Ling Yunzi, there were three strangers.
Two men and one woman. They looked at Han Yuan with curiosity as he walked in.
“Palace Master Han, you’ve arrived at last.”
Liang Ze laughed heartily when he saw Han Yuan.
“It was a bit tight… but I made it in time.”
Han Yuan smiled.
“As long as you’re here.”
“Let me introduce you. This is Commander Wan Yu, the Grand Commander of the Divine Fire Forbidden Army.”
Liang Ze introduced them.
Wan Yu was a burly man dressed in a black shirt, with thick eyebrows, large eyes, and resolute features.
He cupped his fist and said, “I have long heard of Palace Master Han’s great name! It’s an honor to finally meet you today!”
“You’re too kind, Commander Wan.” Han Yuan returned the salute by cupping his own fist.
Liang Ze then introduced another person to Han Yuan: “This is Yu Liangjun, the Sect Leader of the Celestial Abyss Sect!”
Yu Liangjun was eight feet tall, dressed in a long white robe. He was handsome, with graying hair and a scholarly, elegant air.
He smiled. “Greetings, Palace Master Han.”
Han Yuan had heard of the Celestial Abyss Sect. It could be considered a Cultivation Holy Land in the Great Li Dynasty, with an incredibly profound heritage.
It was said they had five Divine Sea Martial Artists alone.
“I have long heard of Sect Leader Yu’s great name.”
Han Yuan smiled and cupped his fist.
“This is the Sect Leader of the Profound Ice Sect, Zhong Yun.”
Liang Ze continued.
Zhong Yun was a cold, stunning woman with fair skin.
She nodded lightly at Han Yuan. “Greetings, Palace Master Han.”
Her voice was also exceptionally cold.
“Greetings, Sect Leader Zhong.”
Han Yuan nodded in acknowledgment.
The Profound Ice Sect was something of an anomaly in the Great Li Dynasty. It was said to be located in the coldest territory of the dynasty and only accepted female disciples, no men.
“The other Sect Leaders are resting on the other ships. I’ll introduce you when there’s a chance.”
Liang Ze said.
Naturally, these few were not the only experts who had come this time.
It was just that each ship’s personnel had to be distributed strategically to minimize risk.
Because they were making such a large move this time, the Immortal Sect Organization was bound to notice.
No one could say for sure what might happen along the way.
“No problem.”
“I’d also like to spar with the experts from all different paths.”
Han Yuan said with a slight smile.
“Then let’s get back to business.”
“Tomorrow, we will depart from Li Shui Harbor and head for Blue Moon Island.”
“At the docks on Blue Moon Island, the Four Great Dynasties of the Southern Star Continent will gather. After forming a fleet, we will enter the Storm Sea.”
Liang Ze took out a nautical chart and marked the route.
Han Yuan studied it intently.
Although he knew how to get to Glazed Island, his knowledge was certainly not as detailed as Liang Ze’s nautical chart.
Blue Moon Island was located in the outer regions of the Stormy Sea Domain, so it wasn’t as dangerous.
The journey from Li Shui Harbor would take about a month and a half.
Based on the distance, the trip from Blue Moon Island to Glazed Island should take a month.
But this was only an estimate.
In reality, due to the extreme weather in the Stormy Sea Domain, the great ships’ travel speed would definitely be affected.
In short, everything would depend on the conditions at the time.
After discussing a few more details in the meeting room, the group dispersed.
Han Yuan returned to a spacious guest room that had been specially arranged for him to rest.
He had been on the road for the past half-month, so with this rare opportunity, Han Yuan simply took a bath and then lay down on the bed to sleep for a while.
For him, sleeping was already an entirely unnecessary act.
But every time he slept, Han Yuan could feel his nerves gradually relax.
