Liu Xu, Xiao Yue, and the others already knew Wei Ping.

The location was truly remote, but the scenery was also truly beautiful.
Jiulong Gorge really lived up to its reputation.
’It’s not bad just coming here for the view.’
When they reached the front of the restaurant, they learned that new dishes had been added to the menu. It wasn’t just Yangchun Noodles anymore.
And after hearing Wei Ping’s explanation of Cabbage in Boiled Water, they were finally a little surprised.
’This restaurant really does seem interesting.’
They were also very eager to try the Cabbage in Boiled Water.
After some discussion, the group decided to order six servings of Cabbage in Boiled Water.
As for everything else, they would each order for themselves.
Liu Xu and the others walked into the restaurant.

Li You smiled. "It’s not too bad, indeed."
He then walked over to the table where Wei Ping and his family were seated.
He placed the Cabbage in Boiled Water on the table.
"Master Wei, please enjoy your meal," Li You said.
Wei Ping had already returned to his seat. Hearing Li You, he nodded repeatedly. "Yes, yes. Thank you for your hard work, Owner."
Li You said, "Not at all, it’s my pleasure."
Then he excused himself and walked away.
"Owner, we’d like six orders of Cabbage in Boiled Water," Liu Xu said to Li You.
"Six orders?" Li You was overjoyed and said quickly, "Alright, alright, please wait a moment."
He then hurried into the kitchen.
’That’s seven orders of Cabbage in Boiled Water sold already. It really feels like there’s hope of breaking 8,000 in revenue today.’
Li You was incredibly happy and full of anticipation!
Meanwhile, out in the dining hall, Wei Ping’s family began to eat the Cabbage in Boiled Water.
First the broth, then the cabbage.
After sipping the broth and each eating a piece of cabbage, the whole family was pleasantly surprised and utterly satisfied.
Because it was far, far more delicious than they had ever imagined.
"Master Wei, how is it?" Liu Xu couldn’t help but ask.
Wei Ping smiled faintly. "I can only say that I’ve never had a broth this delicious. And I never imagined that a plain, simple cabbage could taste this good."
These words made Liu Xu and the others even more unbearably eager to try it.
Finally, Li You emerged from the kitchen again, carrying Cabbage in Boiled Water.
One serving at a time, he made six trips in a row.
Everyone in Liu Xu’s group couldn’t wait to dig in.
They still started with the broth.
That first sip was an unprecedented, delightful surprise.
It was just as Master Wei had said—they had never tasted such a delicious broth.
Then they picked up a piece of cabbage to try.
And again, just as Master Wei had said, they never would have thought cabbage could be so delicious.
This was an absolute culinary masterpiece.
No wonder this dish could be a staple at state banquets.
It was truly extraordinary!
Liu Xu said to the person next to him, "Old Yang, what do you think? Now you know why we could never get this place out of our minds, right?"
The person next to him was named Yang Jianfeng, one of the newcomers. He nodded repeatedly. "I certainly do now. This restaurant is really something special."
It wasn’t just Yang Jianfeng; all the other newcomers understood now too.
The Cabbage in Boiled Water looked surprising, but it tasted even more so.
A restaurant that could produce a dish like this was definitely not simple.
’After we go back today, I’m afraid we won’t be able to get this place out of our minds either.’

But of course, they still had to taste them.
They all dug in eagerly.
And after just one bite, they were completely certain: there was nothing wrong with Liu Xu and the others.
