I Have Infinite Systems In The Immortal World
Chapter 388: Luo Luo’s Departure
Bing Luoyan was sleeping peacefully with Bing Luo Luo curled up against her when a deep tremor shook the entire estate. Her eyes snapped open instantly. She almost sat up too fast and nearly woke her daughter, but she caught herself at the last moment.
Carefully, she slipped out of the bed, tucking the blanket around Luo Luo. The little girl mumbled something in her sleep and curled up tighter, undisturbed.
Bing Luoyan frowned and quietly stepped outside.
The moment she opened the door, she saw a familiar figure standing in the corridor.
"Long Ming?" she whispered, using the fake name Long Ming had been using around the shop. "What’s going on? That tremor-"
Long Ming turned around with his usual lazy smile. "Nothing serious, Sister Luoyan. Just some pests trying to make noise. Go back to sleep. Luo Luo has to leave for the academy tomorrow, remember? She needs proper rest."
Bing Luoyan rubbed her face tiredly. "You... you better not be doing anything stupid."
Long Ming chuckled softly. "I’m just cleaning up some trash. Nothing worth losing sleep over."
She rolled her eyes, clearly not believing him for a second, but she didn’t press further. She knew that look on his face. Whatever was happening outside, it was already being handled.
"...Just don’t make too much of a mess," she muttered before quietly closing the door again.
Outside the estate, Zhuo Dicang was crawling out of the charred ground like a half-burnt insect.
Half his body was completely scorched black, skin and flesh melted together in ugly patches. His luxurious purple robes were reduced to rags. He coughed violently, spitting out black blood as he tried to stabilize his injuries with true qi and healing pills.
However, he realized that he could only suppress his injuries. The healing pills were all rank 4 Flesh and Blood Healing pills, yet they barely had any effect.
"Damn it... damn it all!" he cursed hoarsely. "That bitch... she actually hid a killing array under the illusion formation?! Those useless bastards didn’t say anything about this!"
He staggered to his feet, swaying like a drunkard, trying to drag his ruined body away from the estate.
He never even noticed the figure descending from the sky until a calm voice spoke behind him.
"Running already? I thought you came here to have fun."
Zhuo Dicang froze.
He slowly turned his head.
Long Ming was descending gracefully, moonlight shining on his light blue robe. With the Desolate Immortal Aura surrounding him, he looked completely ethereal against the charred ground, ashes, and burnt corpses. Like an immortal who had casually stepped into a battlefield raged with flame and blood.
Long Ming landed lightly and chuckled.
"So? Did you like my welcome gift, Young Master Zhuo?"
Zhuo Dicang’s face twisted with rage and fear.
"You... you bastard! Let me go right now! Do you know who I am?! The Zhuo Family will crush you and everyone you care about! You’ll regret this!"
Long Ming clicked his tongue, looking genuinely disappointed.
"I’ve met a lot of idiots in my life... but you might be the biggest retard I’ve seen. Your body is half-cooked, your cultivation is leaking like a broken pot, and you’re still trying to threaten me? Truly impressive stupidity."
He took a step closer.
"Actually, I should thank you. Without you triggering it, my Three Bloom Destructive Flame Formation would’ve stayed hidden and unused. You really did me a favor tonight."
Long Ming shrugged, " I mean... What use of making a formation if I can’t see it being used?"
Zhuo Dicang’s eyes widened in horror.
At that moment, Fu Mingwu and Fu Mingyu finally arrived at the courtyard. Both of them stopped in their tracks, stunned by the sheer destruction. The stench of burnt stone and roasted corpses was overwhelming.
Long Ming glanced at them and waved casually.
"Fu Mingwu. Finish him."
Fu Mingwu didn’t hesitate. He picked up a broken sword from the ground, channeled his true qi into it, and walked toward Zhuo Dicang.
Zhuo Dicang tried to activate his remaining strength, but the moment he looked at Long Ming, an overwhelming oppressive aura crashed down on him.
It felt like a mountain had been dropped on his shoulders. His body froze completely. Fear, real primal fear. He realized the source was none other than Long Ming. The realization finally flooded his heart.
He couldn’t even raise his eyes properly.
Fu Mingwu didn’t say a word. He simply swung the broken sword in one clean motion.
Shlick.
Zhuo Dicang’s head flew off his shoulders and rolled across the charred ground.
Fu Mingyu sighed as she looked at the mess around them.
"A few of the assassins escaped when the illusory formation broke," she said. "We couldn’t catch all of them."
Long Ming waved his hand dismissively.
"It doesn’t matter. Someone has to pass the message back to the Zhuo Family anyway."
Fu Mingyu gave him a sideways glance, then looked at the destroyed courtyard.
"...And what about this mess? Sister Luoyan is going to kick you out if she sees this tomorrow."
Long Ming raised an eyebrow. "What mess?"
He casually pointed at the ground as he snapped his fingers.
Runes lit up across the entire courtyard. The array formation activated once more. Slowly, the broken tiles began shifting back into place. The charred ground smoothed out. Even the blood and corpses started getting pulled into the formation and erased.
Fu Mingyu watched the courtyard repair itself in silence.
She sighed again, but this time there was a small smile on her lips.
No matter what happened tonight... she had gained valuable battle experience and insights. She would make good use of them.
Long Ming stretched lazily and started walking back toward the main building.
"I’m going to sleep. You two should do the same."
Fu Mingyu watched his back for a moment, then shook her head with a helpless chuckle.
" Hey hey!" Fu Mingwu raged, " What about my reward?!"
" Tomorrow, brat." Long Ming rolled his eyes, " Not everyone trains in night like you."
"Lazy bastard..." Fu Mingwu grumbled; his enthusiasm for getting a gift faded.

Morning, Bing Luoyan sighed as she saw Luo Luo getting dressed.
" Mother, you need to take care of yourself, alright?" Luo Luo chided Bing Luoyan.
" Shouldn’t I say that to you?" Bing Luoyan was speechless as she ruffled Bing Luo Luo’s hair fondly. Bing Luo Luo grinned, " Also, keep Uncle Long in check. Without me handling him, he might run off somewhere."
" Hehe, don’t worry. Till you return next time, I will keep him in leash." Bing Luo Luo smiled as she took a ring and gave to Luo Luo. " My dear, always keep this ring with you. When you feel like you are in danger, you can use this."
" Well well, just a ring? That’s bad,"
Long Ming’s voice came as he walked in with a grin, " Uncle Long has better things to gift."
" Oh?" Luo Luo was instantly interested in Long Ming’s words, " You better keep your words, Uncle Long."
With a wave of his hand, Long Ming took out several dresses. Blooming yellow, fiery red, deep blue, lush green, each dress has its unique charm.
" My goodness! These are all so pretty!" Bing Luo Luo was instantly captivated as she took all the dresses at once. " You are really the best, Uncle Long."
" That’s not all. Here, keep this." Long Ming took out a pendant and wore it to Luo Luo. " If you ever see anyone you don’t like, just use this pendant slightly."
Bing Luoyan’s eyes narrowed when she saw the pendant and the dresses, her heart shocked.
