"If I hadn’t come today, would you have come here to shop anyway?"

"Besides, who would I have one with? Finding someone new doesn’t guarantee they’d be good to my child. Even if I don’t think about myself, I have to consider her, right?"

Chen Yuan nodded. "When my mom chats with other people, she basically says the same thing. It’s all about putting the kids first."

"That just means your mom and I think alike. And I really don’t have any plans for that. Let’s just leave things as they are."
