Raiden looked at the gigantic breath attack that covered the whole battlefield, getting closer and closer, and knew he couldn’t escape from it.
So he closed his eyes in despair, waiting for the end.

A world-ending explosion occurred in the air, but strangely, Raiden didn’t feel any pain from it. He opened one of his eyes cautiously, only to see a red-coloured barrier in front of him holding back that world-ending attack.
He looked at the barrier before he traced a red line connected to it, linking it to himself.

The black dragon saw these two and got even angrier as he put forth more power into his attack, vaporising the landscape. But despite his best efforts, he was not able to break past the shield.
This frustrated him to know, and after trying for a whole minute, he gave up as he stared at the boy standing behind it in anger.
"I don’t know who dared to oppose me and protect you, but they are not here, boy, and this shield can’t protect you forever. I want to see just how long you can stay inside it."
The Giant Behemoth lunged forward, and instead of using his breath attack, he brought down his claw down on Raiden’s head, which felt like a meteor falling down, attacking the shield.

The Black Magic King brought down one attack after another on the shield, but it held on strong, protecting Raiden, Woolie, Neva and the two women inside it as the rest of the battlefield watched this while being petrified.
Each strike of his hammer attack hammered them deeper into the ground, but he wasn’t able to break this shield at all.
Both Yuna and Isadora stared at it in wonder.
"Protection of a Mythical..." Yuna muttered with a little jealousy in her voice. Even though she came from a family with multiple mythical beasts, none of them cared enough for her to protect her like this.
She was just one of the most gifted children in her family, important, yes, but also a little disposable. And when your family members are numbered in thousands, it’s not possible to give everyone mythical protection like this. Only the head of the family and a few others had it.

In the next second, the Black Dragon King found himself blown hundreds of kilometres away as a small red tail slapped him away.
A large crimson python appeared in front of Raiden, wrapping its large body around Raiden and Co., protecting them from any harm.
While this crimson python was much smaller in size, barely a kilometre long, it exuded ten times more pressure and bloodlust on the battlefield than Black Dragon King.

Both Terra Beasts cheered in response as they looked at the Crimson Python.
"Sha Sha!!!" Auntie, that big black lizard was bullying me. Beat him up hard!!

Ruby slowly turned her head towards them with a soft look in her eyes.
"Don’t worryy, I will takee care of himm, you guyss restt." Ruby hissed back in reply, before turning her back towards the enemy.

The ground a few hundred kilometres away exploded in a shower of debris as Black Dragon King’s body rose from it, glaring at Ruby.
"YOU!!! Why Are You Still Alive?!!! You are supposed to be dead!!! We killed you ourselves!!" His voice rang out in the distance, full of indignation and a little bit of...fear??
"You thinkk someonee likee you can kill mee??" Ruby’s voice was full of scoff as she glared at the gigantic overgrown lizard.
"No, that’s not right. You... You can barely stand!! Wahahaha!!! What a Fucking Day!! This is completely fine. I will finish the job we couldn’t back then and send you to hell myself!!!" With that, the Black Dragon roared in the air and flapped his powerful wings, disappearing from the spot.
The next second, his gigantic body appeared in the air, blocking out the sky like a gigantic cloud.
"Destruction Rend!!!" A black, ink-like substance started to radiate off his claw as he brought it down, tearing apart the fabric of reality itself.
Raiden looked on in shock as that black claw descended, the space itself shattering and showing signs of instability.

But a blood-red membrane appeared on top of everyone, stopping that attack in place as everyone stared with wide eyes.

The next second, before everyone’s or horrified eyes, rivers of blood started flowing and gathering from all around the battlefield, coming together and creating one giant figure.
Under the glare of Black Dragon King, this crimson giant of blood grew bigger and bigger before it reached Black Dragon King’s size, then grew even larger.

A 100 km-long python made completely out of blood opened its eyes for the first time, its power shaking the entire battleground.
