The Diamond-Tier master, who had been watching this entire exchange with growing irritation, finally snapped.

"Enough!!" he roared, his voice shaking the chamber. "You think this changes anything?! A little sheep waking up doesn’t mean you can win! Five Diamond-Tier beasts are still standing in front of you!!"

He pointed at Woolie.

"Attack!! Tear that pathetic sheep apart!!"

The five beasts roared in unison and charged; looking at this, Woolie didn’t even flinch.

He just looked at Raiden.

"Woolie Woo?" Who are these weak opponents? Can I beat them up??

Raiden’s smile turned sharp.

"Yeah," he said. "I want you to beat them up really, really good."

Hearing this, Woolie’s eyes lit up with enthusiasm.

"Woolie Woo!!" Finally!!

He turned to face the incoming beasts, his tiny body radiating violet lightning.

"Woolie Woo!!" Stay back, everyone!! This Emperor is about to show you what real power looks like!!

Raiden’s voice rang out across the battlefield.

"It’s our turn now, Woolie, go!! Thunder Step!!"

Woolie disappeared. He reappeared behind the flaming tiger in an instant, his horns already glowing.

"Woolie Woo!!" Too slow!!

He slammed his head into the tiger’s side.

CRACK!!

The tiger was launched across the chamber, crashing through three pillars before slamming into the wall.

"Thunder Lance!!"

A spear of violet lightning formed above Woolie’s head, then shot forward with blinding speed. It pierced through the ice serpent’s body before it could even react, pinning it to the ground.

The serpent shrieked and thrashed, but the lightning held it in place.

"Thunder Web!!"

Violet lightning spread across the floor in a web pattern, catching the stone golem’s legs and locking it in place. The golem roared and tried to move, but the electricity held it firm.

"Thunder Cage!!"

A cage of violet lightning formed around the lightning bird, trapping it mid-flight. The bird screeched and thrashed, but every time it touched the bars, it got shocked.

"Thunder Prison!!"

The shadow wolf tried to disappear into darkness, but Woolie’s lightning followed it, illuminating every corner of the chamber and forcing the wolf back into the open.

Five moves.

Five seconds.

Each move completely neutralised the five Diamond-Tier Terra Beasts within a second.

The Diamond-Tier master stared in horror.

"Impossible..." he whispered. "Impossible!! This is simply impossible!!"

Woolie stood in the centre of the chamber, violet lightning crackling around his tiny body, his chest puffed out with pride.

"Woolie Woo!!" Too easy. Is that really all you’ve got??

The Diamond-Tier master’s face went white.

"You... you’re just a Gold-Tier sheep..." he stammered. "How... how can you..."

Woolie tilted his head.

"Woolie Woo?" You keep saying that word. ’Impossible.’ What does it mean?

Raiden laughed from the sidelines.

"Is that all you have?? Come on, try a little harder. We barely even warmed up."

Woolie puffed out his chest even further.

"Woolie Woo!!" That’s right!! Come on, bring it on. I haven’t had enough fun yet!!

The Diamond-Tier master’s hands were shaking.

He looked at his five beasts, all pinned down or trapped by Woolie’s lightning.

Then he looked at Raiden, then at Woolie. Finally, he looked at the small group standing behind them.

For the first time since the battle began, he looked afraid.

"This... this can’t be happening..." he muttered. "The Clan Leader promised me victory... He promised me..."

Raiden took a step forward.

"Your Clan Leader promised you a lot of things," he said quietly. "But he lied. He lied to Aria. He lied to his own father. He lied to everyone in this clan. And now he’s lying to you."

The Diamond-Tier master’s face twisted.

"Shut up!!" he screamed. "You don’t know anything!!"

"I know enough," Raiden said. "I know that you’re standing in front of a sheep who just beat five Diamond-Tier beasts without breaking a sweat. And I know that if you don’t surrender right now, things are going to get a lot worse for you."

Woolie’s eyes gleamed.

"Woolie Woo!!" Surrender now, and this Emperor might let you keep your dignity!!

The Diamond-Tier master stared at him.

Then at the trapped beasts.

Then at the unconscious bodies of the eleven Platinum-Tier Battle Masters scattered across the floor.

His shoulders slumped.

"Wait, just you wait. Do you think anything else changes because you beat me now?! Our battle doesn’t even matter. The Clan Leader is going to win, and he’s going to change the outcome for all of us!!" he whispered.

Woolie’s chest puffed out even further.

"Woolie Woo!!" Then bring him on. I’ll beat him up too.

( •? ω •? )

Raiden ignored the hysterical person in front of him and let out a long breath.

Above them, the battle between Tobias and the Clan Leader was still raging, but the tide had clearly turned. Garuda was gaining ground, its wind blades cutting deeper and deeper into the Golden Dragon’s scales.

And below, surrounded by unconscious bodies and the lingering smell of burning, Raiden stood there, surrounded by his family.

Woolie was awake, Rose and Neva were safe. Aria had her bloodline back, and somehow Theodore was still standing, and this Clan Leader’s reign of terror was finally coming to an end.

Raiden looked up at the sky, at the two massive beasts still locked in combat above him.

"Hang in there, old man," he muttered. "I have done everything I could do. The rest is up to you."

Above them, the battle between Tobias and the Clan Leader was still raging, but the tide had clearly turned. Garuda was gaining ground, its wind blades cutting deeper and deeper into the Golden Dragon’s scales.

"Give it up. You are no match for me now." Tobias’ voice rang out from the top of the Garuda as he looked down on his son.

"Impossible. How can you beat us?! You were supposed to be weaker than us!!" The clan leader’s almost maniacal voice rang out in the air as he looked at his father in disbelief.

"That may have been the case a few months ago, but I got to take a glimpse of someone beyond our level in action. That gave me enough insights to take another step forward. So give up now." Tobias spoke once again as he looked at him with a half-pity, half-disappointed expression on his face.

"IMPOSSIBLE. This is completely impossible!! Nobody can beat me!! I wasn’t wrong! I was never wrong!! Everything I did, I did it for the clan!!! Nobody gets to lecture me, not EVEN YOU!!!"

BOOOOM!!!!
