SUMMARY

Dante had rehearsed his villain speeches for years, but he had never prepared for a beautiful woman to take one seriously and ask who they were getting rid of.

At Blackwell University of Arcane Studies, everyone could do magic, which should have made him another first year struggling through the basics. Instead, every spell he cast made the women around him pay a little more attention, trust his explanations a little faster, and question his decisions a little less.

For a self proclaimed roleplayer who had spent years imagining himself in charge, this seemed like an excellent reason to keep practicing. His mysterious warnings finally had an audience, and saying “I planned for this” usually bought him enough time to come up with something he could pretend had been the plan all along.

Dante assumed he was becoming the man he had always wanted to be, especially when witches who could put him through a wall started asking what he wanted them to do. Admitting he had borrowed half his speeches from anime would have ruined things, so he kept talking and hoped he would learn enough magic to deserve their confidence.

Unfortunately, they were already acting on things he had only said because they sounded cool, and telling them he had everything under control was getting people hurt.
