Chapter 2212 - 25.102 Lone Black Star - Ye Caoyun’s Soul Domain

After the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya had made a decision, the Grand Duke had once again taken over the command while the prince tried to save his Crown Princess, Ye Caoyun. This is not simple as saving life, this is the Crown Prince risking his life to awaken the soul of his fated pair in his own soul domain.

"Someone help me prepare. I would like to enter the soul domain of my Crown Princess!" Ye Qinya said to the doctors and guide healers in the room.

The doctors and the healers all looked at each before making the preparations. They asked the crown prince to lie down on the bed which was prepared for him. Beside him, the Crown Princess, Ye Caoyun was also resting on the other bed with his eyes not tightly closed. The Crown Prince had glanced at his lover one last time before closing his eyes as well preparing to enter his beloved’s soul domain.

Meanwhile inside the Soul Domain of Ye Caoyun, the former small forest in this place had now not only had everything inside of it had grown, the place had expanded a lot compared to the first time. The world tree at the center of this domain had also grown so much that its branches had spread enough to shadow the whole domain with its towering figure. Ye Qinya opened his eyes to see this scenery. The large branches of the world tree almost covered the sky of this domain with its golden emerald leaves swaying, it was such a magical sight.

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya looked above his head and saw that this soul domain is completely different from his which is composed of both land, water and sky. His wife’s soul domain is mostly land with forest and sky. There isn’t much water existing in this world. Maybe it’s because of their quantum beasts. The crown prince’s quantum beast is a Flood dragon. It’s normal for it to love the sea, the land and fly over the sky. On the other hand, the crown princess’s quantum beast is a World Tree. No matter how famous a world tree is, it is still a tree. Why would it like a sea in its territory?

"This forest... is this Yun’er’s soul domain? Such a powerful scent of life and wood energy," The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya mumbles to himself and stands then pats away the dust on his closes.

He looked around and noticed a small black snake hanging on its wrist which seemed to be sleeping. Ye Qinya immediately noticed it as his quantum beast, the flood dragon. After lightly poking it, the crown prince once again looked around trying to find a path in such a big forest. Unfortunately, how can there be paths in a forest and he had no other choice but to fly above the forest trying to find possible clues where his wife is. Flying above the forest, Ye Qinya realized that this place is bigger than he had expected. Then finally noticed the big tree which is almost covering the whole land and recognized it as the same tree that had sprouted in his soul domain and helped him patch that broken place.

"Golden emerald leaves and white tree trunks as well as branches. Why does this tree look so similar to the one inside of his soul domain?" The crown prince wanted to reach out to touch the branches only for him to be smacked down by it.

Being slapped by a huge tree branch is not a good feeling, moreover it caught him off guard and he fell badly back to the land below him.

Thud!

"Ugh~ as expected. This huge tree is alive. That must be Yun’er’s quantum beast. How come it doesn’t seem to recognize me at all." The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, complained.

This time he didn’t choose to fly in the sky anymore, with those tree branches almost covering the sky, he might be mistaken as an enemy by the big tree and he would suffer a lot. This is its territory after all, even if he had asked his flood dragon to help him, being suppressed by the opponent is not impossible. He can only walk around the path he had seen from the above. Ye Qinya walks the straight path which leads to the center of the forest. He had to avoid being eaten by some plants in the forest that seemed to eat almost anything to survive. It didn’t take long for the crown prince to reach the center of the soul domain and the scene that welcomed him was even more beautiful than he expected.

The towering world tree’s white trunk glows with a shimmering shade of white light emitting a presence of holiness and life itself. There is a small river encircling around the world tree separating it completely from the other land. This structure seems to prevent other beings from approaching it. Under its roots, Ye Qinya saw someone’s sleeping figure leaning on the white trunks of the world tree. It looks like a young man with long emerald gold hair wearing pure white ancient robes with his ears slightly pointed. This person looks like some noble elves recorded in history. However, the face this ancient elf possessed is the familiar feature of the man the crown prince love the most in this world.

"Yun’er!?"

The crown prince called as he flew above the river trying to approach the center of the land. Only for some thick white roots from the river appeared and blocked Ye Qinya’s path. He was pushed back and was prevented from crossing the river to approach the center area of the soul domain. Ye Qinya blocked the tree roots that attacked him. Well it wasn’t truly an attack all it had done was pushed him away and prevented him from crossing the river. Though he wasn’t hurt at all, Ye Qinya was annoyed. His lover was just a few meters away from him but this stupid tree is stopping him from approaching. Feeling the emotions of his master, the sleeping flood dragon had suddenly woke up.

It detached itself from his master’s wrist and fell down on the grassy land under them. Eventually, it slowly grew into a huge black flood dragon with evil looking horns and crimson eyes. Its size matches the towering world tree in front of them. Seeing his flood dragon quantum beast come out, Ye Qinya instantly calmed down.

ROAR~

It pats his quantum beast’s head and says, "Don’t get angry. This tree is also your wife. Don’t hurt it or you will regret it in the future."

The black flood dragon shook its head as if saying that he will not marry a tree as his other half. But he is willing to listen to his master’s command not to harm it. Seeing his quantum beast’s reaction, he felt helpless towards it. Why didn’t it believe that this tree was its destined partner? This world tree is his wife’s quantum beast, did it think that a future evil dragon will not like a tree as its fated pair. The crown prince didn’t explain it further and let it think for himself.

Ye Qinya said, "I want to pass through the river. Help me stop those tree branches from approaching me."

The black flood dragon nods its head before flying towards the center. As it tried to fly over the river countless white tree roots had come out from the water trying to catch the flood dragon. Unfortunately, this dragon was like a loach in muddy water. It was hard to capture at all. Ye Qinya who was watching the scene from the other side was dumbfounded, the roots coming out of the river had almost doubled and it was still trying to catch his quantum beast. Moreover, that stupid dragon was having fun dodging the tree roots chasing after it.

Sigh~

Pinching the flesh between his eyes, the crown prince was frustrated. "Is this silly dragon still that evil one who can rip a high grade spaceship with its claws? But... this is a chance for me."

The crown prince, Ye Qinya, controlled the darkness available within the vicinity and blended with it. He had turned into some kind of moving shadow and sneaked towards the area where Ye Caoyun was sleeping. The world tree noticed him trying to approach its master and its whole being started to shake causing the whole domain to tremble with it. This just further signifies that the whole domain was supported by this towering world tree. However, the black dragon had noticed what its master wanted to do and instantly approached the world tree wrapping its whole body on its trunks. This halted the shaking of the whole domain.

Seeing a huge black flood dragon wrapping itself around the white glowing trunks of the world tree was such an unexpected sight. The clashing of white and black shades was too obvious to ignore. Meanwhile, Ye Qinya has finally crossed the river and is seated in front of the sleeping Ye Caoyun. That familiar face that he remembers, Ye Qinya would never mistake him for someone else. He had reached out his hand trying to touch the face of the sleeping ancient elf in front of him only to freeze and suddenly looked surprised. Ye Qinya met the cold inhuman, golden eyes of Ye Caoyun. But unlike the eyes which were full of affection for him, these golden eyes were devoid of all emotions. A tree branch was stabbed through the crown prince’s chest and it was obvious who had done it.

Cough

"Y-Yun’er?"

"How can someone enter my soul domain?" Ye Caoyun said. He obviously doesn’t recognize the man he loves.
