Just then, a communication request came through the Light Brain’s encrypted channel.

Accepting the video call, the Commander-in-Chief kept his eyes fixed on the battle at the front line.

"Qin Shiwei!" On the video call, Qin Songlin shrieked hysterically like a woman driven mad with anger, "How could you do this behind my back! You scoundrel, you’re shameless!"

This Majesty of the Interstellar Federation loved to put on a show whenever he had nothing better to do.

The Commander-in-Chief habitually cut the connection.

When Qin Songlin tried calling again, he found he’d been blocked.

He had no choice but to abuse his power, exercising his highest authority to have the Main Brain send the paternity test report from the Imperial Hospital to his younger brother.

After receiving the data, Qin Shiwei’s Light Brain, Golden Beetle, said in surprise, "Master, it’s the Young Master!"

As the Light Brain of the Interstellar Federation’s First Commander, Golden Beetle’s system was second in sophistication only to the Main Brain. It could not only process enormous amounts of data but also had human-like emotions.

Golden Beetle immediately complied. The image of the young woman holding the little kitten cub was magnified to its maximum size.

Her stylish short hair was like black silk, a sweet, lovely smile graced the corners of her slightly upturned lips, and her bright, clear eyes seemed to reveal everything about her inner world.

Shu Xin’s heart melted. She wished she could give him every good thing in the world. "Our Xiao Juzi is so brave! Grandma will definitely give you a reward when we get back!"

Xiao Juzi immediately went on high alert again, letting out a tiny, whimpering growl at the approaching Shu Xin.

"No!" Shu Yao gently tapped his little head. "She’s Mama’s mama. She’s your grandma. You can’t be so fierce with her!"

Xiao Juzi’s whimpers turned aggrieved.

"It’s alright, it’s alright." Shu Xin’s gentle voice was full of understanding. "Beastman children are very sensitive."

Her daughter had lived in the harsh environment of Zone 9 for thirteen years, and her little grandson was born there. The two of them must have endured many unimaginable hardships.
