A bitter taste filled her mouth, and her heart seethed with resentment!

Her stomach was churning!

She glared hatefully at Shu Yao, her voice a low, restrained hiss. "Can you leave now?"

Shu Yao took Qin Shiwei’s arm and left, satisfied.

The personnel and robots from the food safety department also withdrew from the restaurant after receiving their orders.

After the people and machines were gone, Zhen Zhen exploded.

"Xiangxiang, are you stupid?! Why would you humiliate yourself like that!"

"You’re the stupid one!" Lin Zhenxiang snarled.

With no one else around, she could only vent her long-suppressed frustrations on her mother.

Lin Zhenxiang looked toward the wide-open door of the freezer. Instead of cooling her fury, the cold air brought an even more bone-chilling pain.

"That ’good’ brother of yours took so many of my Star Coins and sold me a batch of whitefish infected with a plague! What do you want me to do?! If the district police show up, I’ll be finished, right along with that ’good’ brother of yours!"

Zhen Zhen was completely flustered, her frantic eyes darting about.

"I... I’ll cancel the police report right now!"

The mother and daughter immediately loaded the ingredients onto a cargo cart and pushed it out the back door of the restaurant before the district police could arrive.
