I Materialized the Cultivation Game

Chapter 734 - 303: Array Formation Under Repair! Who Will Seize the Initiative? (Part 2)

Daoist Chen glanced over and instinctively looked towards Patriarch Chen, who had walked some distance away.

This person might just be the lucky star of Wudang. It’s ancestral writings, something Wudang had not discovered for so long, yet this person had uncovered.

After Chen Han returned to his assigned accommodations in Wudang, Daoist Qingwei personally brought over the needed writing materials with some helpers.

Chen Han chatted for a while with the Daoist, and after seeing him off at the door, he took out a piece of paper and began to draw on it.

Drawing a complete Feng Shui Array Formation Map is no easier than sketching a detailed geographic map.

This task requires a lot of time.

Thus, he stayed in his room for the time being, following the guidance on the Feng Shui Spirit Recording Stone, starting his drawing.

At night, he even went up to the Golden Summit to coordinate his observations with the chart, conducting a field survey.

In the deep of the night, he returned to his accommodations, took out a Middle-Level Spirit Stone, and began cultivating the Intermediate Nine Heavens Profound Scripture Qi Cultivation Method.

Spiritual Meridians are the key to advancing in cultivation; Opening Meridians and working through the Eight Extraordinary Meridians are fundamentally the same.

Human Spiritual Meridians, much like at birth, are initially blocked and need clearing to allow True Qi to flow smoothly, connecting the three Dantians.

This process, however, lacks a bottleneck; it’s just about refining True Qi, expanding it, and enhancing its quality.

Once Chen Han familiarized himself with the Advanced Nine Heavens Profound Scripture Qi Cultivation Technique, he stopped to study the spell attached to it: Immortal Light Separation and Reunion.

This is a rather renowned spell within the Nine Heavens Profound Scripture.

It can suppress the magic of Demon Dao. The cultivation technique of Demon Dao practitioners is subdued under this spell.

Moreover, Immortal Light Separation and Reunion is quite prestigious, as cultivating it results in a physical form, transforming into Cyan-White Qi like a Tai Chi Diagram with a Yin-Yang Fish pursuing one another.

This also contains the principles of Yin and Yang.

Though uncertain if this spell has practical effects in reality; after all, the Demon Dao in the real world isn’t exactly the same as the one in Swordsmen of Shushan.

It’s not like the real world’s Demon Dao would smoke and burst with the shine of this Immortal Light, right?

Nonetheless, there are benefits to cultivating this spell; at least a tangible form can be condensed.

Imagine, when this spell is performed, Cyan-White Qi emerges, winding and moving around like a Tai Chi figure. How astonishing would such a scenario be?

Especially when one’s strength is formidable, and this spectacle could envelop an entire city—how magnificent that would be?

However, when Chen Han began to cultivate Immortal Light Separation and Reunion, he realized that while the spell seemed useless, cultivation was far from simple.

The primary issue is that the Cyan-White Qi embodies the principles of Tai Chi, making it difficult to balance.

And even though the cultivation method is plain to see and clearly explains what to do, executing it isn’t that easy.

Much like some online videos that look simple and seem doable if you have hands, but attempting them reveals the challenges.

Another night passed.

The next day, after breakfast, Chen Han resumed drawing the Wudang Feng Shui Array Formation Map.

By noon, he had finally completed the entire Feng Shui Array Formation Map.

Indeed, Wudang’s Feng Shui Array Formation is composed of various Feng Shui Patterns.

Not only the main peak but all 72 peaks have corresponding Feng Shui Patterns.

Many of these Feng Shui Patterns have been damaged and need restoration or compensation.

He had marked all these places with various colors of ink.

And also the remedies for restoration noted by the Feng Shui Spirit Recording Stone.

Since the Feng Shui Patterns are inherently formed by natural geographic formations, the terrain is largely undisturbed, making restoration relatively straightforward.

For example, the ’Hidden Wind Mountain Shadow’ formation captures and uses the wind and is located on a cliff face of a mountain peak, primarily using the cliff itself.

The cliff itself remains intact, though a gap was created over time, so placing three Feng Shui Stones at specific positions on the cliff would suffice.

What surprised him most were the three ancient trees he saw on the mountain, which he had speculated to be a Seven Luminaries Position and a Feng Shui Pattern, albeit ineffective.

Unsurprisingly, he guessed correctly.

Additionally, these Seven Luminaries correspond to the Seven Stars.

Thus, the Wudang Thunderfire Refining Golden Peak Feng Shui Array Formation and the Seven Stars Mountain Coordinated Feng Shui Array Formation from the Feng Shui Spirit Recording Stone essentially have the same effect.

In essence, the Feng Shui Array Formation harnesses thunder and fire for use within the formation.

The only difference is that the Seven Stars refer to Dubhe, Merak, Phecda, Megrez, Vega, Kaiyang, Shaking Light corresponding to the Big Dipper.

Whereas the Seven Luminaries refer to the Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn!

In Feng Shui Patterns, the trees correspond to celestial positions; the ancient pines he saw on the mountain serve this purpose.

The positions of the Seven Stars and Seven Luminaries each vary, and the Taoist Sect’s usage thus differs as well.

Currently, Wudang’s Seven Luminaries Feng Shui Pattern is broken because one type of ancient tree is missing, that being the holly tree, one of the Seven Luminaries.

The guidance from the Feng Shui Spirit Recording Stone indicates as much; as for how it went missing, no one knows.

The remedy now is simple: plant a small patch of holly trees and place Feng Shui Stones in corresponding locations.

Evidently, in Feng Shui Array Formations, Feng Shui Stones play a significant role.

Thankfully, Wudang has many peculiar stones, which can mostly serve as Feng Shui Stones, offering a natural advantage.

By midday, as they went for lunch, all the Daoists, along with Wudang’s Daoist Qingwei and Daoist Chen, were present.
