These two little ones had gotten up at the crack of dawn to perch on the wall. They just wanted to see if the human they suspected might be a bad person would show up again this morning as usual.

But to their surprise, the two little ones waited until long after the sun had risen, and the human they suspected of being a bad person still hadn’t appeared.

Unable to wait for Zhu Daqi any longer, the two stray cats leaped down from the wall and headed toward the green belt where they usually spent their time.

It was early in the morning, and many people were exercising within the residential district.

Some people saw the two stray cats and wanted to go over and play with them, but the two strays were very agile and quickly dodged the humans who tried to tease them.

Just as they entered the green belt, a person appeared from the direction of Building Three’s entrance. The two stray cats stared at this person in surprise.

"Meow... He’s leaving so early today!" the Little Black Cat whispered, as if afraid of being overheard.

The Little White Cat nodded. "Meow... Zhou Tongtong and her mom aren’t even out yet! And he’s already leaving."

Lin Li wanted to ripen the new Magical Little Fruit on the Magical Little Tree as soon as possible, so he had woken up not long after dawn.

He washed up in the bathroom, had a simple breakfast, and then left.

When Lin Li got downstairs, he walked toward his parking spot and noticed two little figures in the distant green belt watching him.

After a night’s rest, his mood had returned to normal.

With a thought, two sausage sticks appeared out of thin air in his hand.

Seeing this happen again, the Little White Cat and the Little Black Cat were stunned. Their little faces were pictures of confusion.

Just like last time, the two little ones were completely unable to figure out how Lin Li had conjured two sausage sticks out of thin air.

Lin Li walked toward the two stray cats. As usual, they were very wary of him.

When the Little White Cat and the Little Black Cat saw Lin Li approaching, they immediately backed away.

But Lin Li was used to this. Standing in front of the green belt, he unwrapped the two sausage sticks, tossed them in front of the two stray cats, and left without another word.

"Meow... Little White, did you see that? Just like last time! There was nothing in his hands, and then, SWISH, two sausage sticks appeared," the Little Black Cat said in amazement, watching Lin Li’s retreating back.

"Meow... I saw." The Little White Cat recalled the last time she saw something appear in Lin Li’s hands out of nowhere. She racked her brains but still couldn’t figure out how it worked.

The sound of an engine starting rang out as Lin Li drove his silver-white van out of the district.

Today, he didn’t head to the wilderness in the North District Suburbs to hunt beasts, as he had the past two days. Instead, he chose to go to the wilderness in the suburbs of the East District.

The two stray cats watched Lin Li drive away from the district. They then pulled their gazes back, no longer thinking about how things appeared out of thin air in his hands. Lowering their heads, they focused their full attention on the two sausage sticks lying on the grass.

They trotted forward, sniffed the enticing aroma, and their mouths began to water. Without another thought, they immediately and delightedly began to eat the sausage sticks.

Just as the two stray cats were halfway through their sausage sticks, two figures, one large and one small, walked out of the entrance to Building Three.

The Little White Cat was the first to look up. She said to her companion, "Meow... Little Black, Zhou Tongtong and her mother are out."

Unlike other days, Zhou Tongtong was carrying a small bag when she came out today. Inside were two pieces of lean meat.

She had come out of her home with her mother, and as soon as the elevator doors opened downstairs, she quickly darted out ahead.

When Zhou Tongtong reached the two stray cats, she saw the half-eaten sausage sticks in front of them and asked in surprise.

"Little White, Little Black, you already have something to eat today? I brought you two pieces of lean meat. Do you still have room?"

The two stray cats’ eyes lit up. They licked their lips and said in unison, "Meow... We have room."
