Chapter 472: Chapter 343: The Celestial Tribulation Begins

A sinister voice suddenly echoed around Yu Changsheng. His steps faltered slightly as he stood firm in the void, his gaze cold as he watched the three men form a triangle to block his path. His expression turned frosty.

Chen Feng smiled faintly, no longer seeming so anxious. He flicked a finger and said in a slow, deliberate tone:

"Yu Changsheng, is it? You certainly know how to pick a spot. It’s a fine place for a grave."

Yu Changsheng frowned, watching the three men warily. His expression was cold as he asked in a frigid tone, "Who are you, and why are you so intent on ambushing me?" ℯℓ.

"I have no quarrel with any of you. Why assemble such a powerful lineup just to deal with a greenhorn like me?"

As he listened, Yu Changsheng grew both puzzled and suspicious. ’They’ve brought out such a powerful lineup this time, maybe even a Purple Mansion expert, just to be absolutely certain,’ he thought. ’But all this, just to kill someone like me who hasn’t even reached the Golden Core realm? Aren’t they taking me a little too seriously?’

Upon hearing this, Chen Feng smiled faintly, studying Yu Changsheng closely. He nodded as if in complete agreement and said:

"You’re right about that. Under normal circumstances, it wouldn’t be worth assembling such a powerful lineup for a mere greenhorn. Unfortunately for you, someone needs you to die. If you live, it will disrupt the grand plan. So, I’m afraid we’ll just have to put you out of your misery, you little Junior Cultivator."

"The Yang Family? Or the Spirit Dragon Sect?"

Yu Changsheng let out a soft breath, his brow furrowed as he suddenly spoke.

Yu Changsheng knew full well what was happening. ’Since they’re from Qingzhou Province, and both the Spirit Dragon Sect and the Yang Family have now rebelled against the Martial Continent... those are the only two I’ve provoked. It’s not hard to guess the connection.’

Chen Feng looked slightly surprised, then let out a snort of laughter as his expression suddenly turned cold.

"There are some things a dead man doesn’t need to know."

In truth, Yu Changsheng’s guess was spot on. One of the Yang Family’s conditions for rebelling against the Martial Continent and allying with Qingzhou Province was Yu Changsheng’s utter annihilation. That was the very reason for this ambush, which targeted him specifically.

Of course, Chen Feng couldn’t be bothered to explain any of this to Yu Changsheng. Instead, he took a light step forward. Cheng Tao and Wu Huan mirrored his movement in perfect coordination. Instantly, countless crimson threads began to spread out from beneath the trio’s feet.

Thread after thread appeared, seemingly without end. In just an instant, they formed a dense web that filled the entire void, distorting the very light from the horizon. Like hideous, grasping tentacles, they snaked toward Yu Changsheng.

"Blood Hand!"

Chen Feng whispered the name, and as the two words left his lips, the three men exhaled in unison. Their breath transformed into a raging, sinister wind that swept down upon the crimson threads. In an instant, the threads came alive, twisting with uncanny agility. They intertwined and coalesced, forming a colossal blood-red hand that slammed down violently toward Yu Changsheng.

"Divine Light, Broken Body, Heaven-Reaching Technique!"

Yu Changsheng let out a low growl. His vital energy and Magical Power surged in unison, erupting into a brilliant golden light that enveloped his body, reinforcing it like a suit of lustrous golden armor.

His fist radiated an endless light. As the Blood Hand descended upon him, the phantasmal image of a brilliant sun materialized above his fist and smashed into it!

BOOM!

Ripples of energy radiated outward, one after another. The Blood Hand contorted, and in that instant, thirty percent of the crimson threads composing it disintegrated. But after a brief pause, it resumed its descent toward Yu Changsheng with unstoppable force.

A spurt of blood escaped his lips.

Yu Changsheng coughed, staggering back three steps. He licked the crimson from the corner of his mouth and let out a long breath. Frowning, he looked up at the colossal Blood Hand as his Red Purgatory Dragon, Colorful Star Deer, Profound Turtle, and Golden-Winged Eagle materialized around him.

In an instant, the combined pressure of three Tier Three Spirit Beasts and one Tier Two Peak Spirit Beast flooded the void.

ROAR!

The Red Purgatory Dragon roared, its great maw gaping open. A dense cloud of Evil Fire coalesced into a massive fireball and shot toward the Blood Hand. The intense heat was so great that visible waves of energy began to ripple through the surrounding space.

A melodic cry rang out!!

The Colorful Star Deer tapped its hooves lightly in the void. Its spiraling antlers suddenly radiated a seven-colored light that scattered into countless shimmering motes. Where the light fell, a colossal, skyscraping tree of unimaginable size erupted from below, shooting upward like a sword to pierce the Blood Hand descending from the heavens.

RUMBLE!

The two forces collided. For a moment, the Blood Hand faltered again. Already down to seventy percent of its mass, it now crumbled by another half, its form dissolving back into dissipating crimson threads.

The remainder no longer posed a threat to Yu Changsheng. As the Red Purgatory Dragon’s flames engulfed it, Yu Changsheng threw a punch, and the Blood Hand finally disintegrated completely. The countless twisting, crimson threads reflected the astonished expressions on the faces of Chen Feng and his two companions.

"Three Tier Three Spirit Beasts... If we hadn’t come fully prepared and taken you seriously, you might have actually gotten away."

Chen Feng suppressed his astonishment. He looked at Yu Changsheng and the four menacing Spirit Beasts surrounding him, his expression slowly growing grave. He spoke in a low, heavy voice.

"However, a Golden Core Peak is still a Golden Core Peak. If we let a greenhorn who hasn’t even stepped into the Golden Core realm escape, what would become of our pride?"

Chen Feng spoke in a cold tone. He exchanged a look with Wu Huan and Cheng Tao, his hands flashing through a series of changing Finger Techniques before letting out a soft cry.

"Asura!"

In that instant, the endless crimson threads blazed with an eerie red light that seemed to drip like fresh blood. They continued to twist and weave together, slowly coalescing into a blurry, humanoid figure.
