I Transmigrated as a Villainess to Raise Babies, and My Beast Husbands Are Fighting Madly Over Me!
Chapter 572: Final Battle, You Are the One Who Doesn’t Belong Here
Qiao Xixi’s eyes welled with tears as she looked at the cubs. Her heart felt like it was on the verge of beating completely out of control.
THUMP, THUMP, THUMP. The fierce pounding in her chest made her breath catch.
Overhead, beams of black light plummeted, casting a cold, sinister glow over them. In that instant, Qiao Xixi felt all her strength drain away. Yet, even so, the cubs pressed themselves tightly against her sides.
“After tonight, everything here will return to its rightful path.”
The voice from the sky echoed again, sounding as cold and emotionless as a machine.
Qiao Xixi’s fingertips trembled. Mustering the very last ounce of her strength, she bit down on her finger. As bright red beads of blood welled up on her fingertip, she smeared the blood onto the foreheads of each of the cubs.
“If this is our bond, then grant us greater power.”
As soon as the words left her lips, Qiao Xixi and the cubs were suddenly hoisted into the air. Sunxuan and the others could only watch helplessly as they were taken away. They wondered what kind of monster this was to possess such overwhelming power.
Suspended in mid-air beneath the heavy, dark clouds, Qiao Xixi and the cubs were held right in front of that massive human face.
“You do have some skill, having actually managed to destroy the system I sent. But so what? In the end, the winner can only be me.”
In a flash, the giant face morphed into Kunlin’s appearance. He stared at Qiao Xixi and slowly raised his hands. Behind her, Jin Ling and the other fathers were slowly lifted up, suspending in mid-air as well. Bound by an invisible force, they could only stare helplessly at Qiao Xixi and the cubs.
With a wave of his other hand, Kunlin forcefully separated the cubs from Qiao Xixi. However, he failed to notice that as the cubs were pulled away from her, faint, glowing green threads were drawn out, drifting gently into Qiao Xixi’s body.
Kunlin turned his gaze to the cubs, a hideous smirk twisting his lips. “Watch closely. Watch how the people you care about the most die.”
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck down from the dark clouds, slamming viciously into Sunxiao. The agonizing pain of the lightning strike quickly coursed through his entire body. Sunxiao gritted his teeth and endured it, refusing to make even the slightest sound.
Qiao Lie watched Sunxiao, his small fists clenched tight. “Father!”
The moment his choked cry rang out, a wave of heat spread from his chest to his forehead. The drop of blood smeared on his brow was instantly absorbed, condensing into a glowing red dot.
Taking in Qiao Lie’s reaction, a glint of smug satisfaction seemed to flash across Kunlin’s pitch-black, hollow eyes.
“Yes, just like that. Let the surging hatred in your heart grow wild and free! Hahahaha!”
Before his laughter even faded, he waved his hand again. Another bolt of heavenly lightning struck Feiyan.
“Ugh!”
Feiyan turned deathly pale from the pain. Yet, when his eyes met the grief-stricken, furious little faces of Qiao Qiao and Qiao Ang, he forced a calm smile. He tried to comfort the cubs, to show them he was fine and that it didn’t hurt at all. But the bone-deep agony made it impossible for him to speak; the moment he opened his mouth, a torrent of fresh blood spewed out.
“Father!” Qiao Ang and Qiao Qiao grasped each other’s hands tightly.
Feeling a sudden, radiating heat in their palms, they looked at one another in shock. They saw the drop of blood on each other’s foreheads become enveloped in a white halo before suddenly vanishing.
“Brother…”
“Qiaoqiao…”
They felt as if the strength in their bodies had suddenly returned!
When the heavenly lightning struck Xijing, Xiya could no longer hold back her sobs. As her large teardrops fell, they crystallized into translucent pearls.
The triumphant smirk on Kunlin’s face grew wider. The lightning strikes then shot straight toward Sangze and Jin Ling.
Sangqi let out a pained cry, his body tensing as he stared at Sangze. However, there was not a trace of defeat in Sangze’s bold, arrogant eyes. He even curled his lips into a smirk at his son, as if telling the cub that this was nothing more than a tickle, completely incapable of hurting him.
When the little tiger cub saw Jin Ling being bullied, she let out an angry howl. Suddenly shifting into her beast form, she broke through Kunlin’s suppression and lunged at him.
This unexpected variable caught Kunlin off guard. Even Qiao Xixi hadn’t expected the tiger cub to break free when everyone else was immobilized.
“ROAR!”
Sharp claws extended from her plush, meaty paws just as they were about to touch Kunlin, slashing viciously into his arm.
Qiao Xixi looked up and saw the health bar above Kunlin’s head reappear. This time, the bar was noticeably lower than when she had last seen it. This meant their previous attacks had been effective!
Wounded, Kunlin furiously swung a claw at the little tiger cub. Just as his sharp talons were about to strike her, a figure suddenly leaped up and pulled the tiger cub behind him.
“I don’t care what kind of monster you are, we won’t allow you to hurt the Clan Leader and the others!” Mo Yan roared. He transformed into a dragon, letting the tiger cub sit on his back before flying straight at Kunlin.
Just as Qiao Lie and the others were panicking, they suddenly realized they could move again. One by one, they shifted into their beast forms and charged at Kunlin.
“You…!”
Every time Kunlin was hit, the health bar above his head would drop. Enraged, Kunlin spread his massive wings and battered the cubs. Outmatched, the children were swatted away and crashed heavily to the ground.
“A few mere cubs think they can defy me? Keep dreaming!”
Right then, a tiny, slender figure suddenly dashed out, glaring furiously at Kunlin. “You are not my father! Give my father back to me!”
Yaya screamed, suddenly shifting into her beast form as she pounced at Kunlin. The moment she lunged forward, Mo Yan and the others scrambled up and followed closely behind her.
Qiao Xixi felt her heart racing faster and faster, as if something was about to burst out of her chest. As the cubs charged forward with all their might, a cluster of glowing green light suddenly burst from her chest, cascading over them.
“Monster, you’re the one who deserves to die!”
“You’re the one who doesn’t belong here!”
“Bad beast, give me back my father!”
The glowing green light enveloped the cubs, merging into a massive orb of energy. The radiant glow illuminated the very depths of Kunlin’s pupils. He tried to dodge, only to find that his body was completely immobilized.
A flash of bewilderment crossed his face. He wondered what was happening and why he couldn’t move. Could it be that the beast soul he had suppressed inside this body was fighting back? How could it possibly resist him?!
Before he could figure it out, the colossal halo of light slammed brutally into his body.
BOOM!
A deafening explosion ripped through the air. Qiao Xixi watched as the health bar above his head emptied out at a visible speed, plummeting straight to zero!
The radiant light continued to expand until it completely obliterated the dark clouds overhead, illuminating nearly half the sky with its blinding brilliance.
“Ah! You… you actually defeated me… Ah! How is this possible? How can this be possible?!”
The deep voice was filled with despair and bitter resentment. From this moment on, no outside force would ever be able to manipulate this world again.
As the light dissipated, the cubs’ bodies suddenly went limp, plummeting from the sky.
Qiao Xixi’s pupils shrank. “Cubs!”
