"The White Emperor Stele, an artifact capable of traversing ancient times to simulate."

Xin Laowu chuckled as he spoke.

"If one does not visit the White Emperor Stele, coming to Victory City is in vain."

"Traverse ancient times?" Xu Zimei's interest was piqued.

"Do you want to see the era of antiquity?

Want to converse with the powerful beings of ancient times?

Then the White Emperor Stele is the best place," Xin Laowu said.

"Going to the White Emperor Stele allows dialogue with figures of ancient and modern times.

But the only issue is that not everyone can visit the White Emperor Stele currently.

It is controlled by the Western Dragon Cult.

Without their consent, it may not be easy."

"Western Dragon Cult," Xu Zimei smiled.

He said, "Let's go take a look.

After all, I've already offended many Dominator factions, a few more won't be a problem."

Xin Laowu was at a loss for words due to Xu Zimei's statement.

In any case, he was just a guide, unrelated to everything else.

The fame of the White Emperor Stele should be the highest in Victory City.

However, due to the control by the Western Dragon Cult, not many people come here.

A white jade fence is specially built around the White Emperor Stele.

Beside it is the Western Holy Palace of the Western Dragon Cult.

Strong individuals from the Western Dragon Cult reside within, primarily guarding the White Emperor Stele.

The White Emperor Stele is also considered a great opportunity.

The pity is that it cannot be moved, otherwise, it would have been moved into the Western Dragon Cult long ago.

With the arrival of Xu Zimei, even before Xu Zimei could act, two cult members hastily approached.

The cult member on the left held a dragon-shaped staff, and respectfully looked at Xu Zimei, saying, "Are you here for the White Emperor Stele, sir?"

"I came to see, do you know me?" Xu Zimei asked in surprise.

The opposition seemed to be deliberately waiting for him here.

The cult member replied, "I don't know you, sir.

But our protector instructed me to await you here.

Would you be willing to meet our protector?"

"Sure," Xu Zimei nodded.

The two cult members led the way, entering the Western Holy Palace.

Though the Western Holy Palace is not glorious, it is very solemn.

There are two statues at the entrance.

The one on the left is a bald monk with eight scars.

The monk slightly closed his eyes, looking solemn, with earrings resembling jade.

The one on the right is a python snake.

The snake was large, with scales closely aligned; even as a statue, it exuded a pungent smell.

This python snake seemed alive.

Xu Zimei stared at the two statues for a while, finding them intriguing, and the cult members beside him explained.

"This is the origin of our Western Dragon Cult.

The one on the left is our Ancestor of Suffering; the one on the right is Rash Jiao Ancestor.

The Western Dragon Cult started with the hands of these two ancestors.

From a fragile power, through years and countless efforts of our ancestors,

resulting in today's glory."

Xu Zimei nodded slightly and suddenly asked, "Are your ancestors still alive?"

The cult member was taken aback.

Then he said, "Of course, our Western Dragon Cult ranks among the top even within the Nine Great Sovereigns."

The Nine Great Sovereigns also vary in strength.

The cult member in front did not know Xu Zimei's identity, but he dared not disobey the protector's instructions.

Entering the Western Holy Palace, the statues inside became more numerous.

The air was filled with a strong scent of sandalwood.

The statues were mostly of Buddha and dragons, or similar creatures.

The scale of the Western Holy Palace was decent; passing through several lodges, they arrived at a central Buddhist hall.

An elderly man, wearing a kasaya and a headband with clear eyes, awaited at the door.

"Blessed, blessed," upon seeing Xu Zimei, the elder first performed a ritual bow.

"It eases my heart for you to come here, fellow traveler."

"I have no quarrel with you monk, have I?" Xu Zimei asked.

"Why the relief?"

"You wish to enter the White Emperor Stele, if not properly handled, I do not wish to follow others' fate," the elder laughed.

"My dharma name is Jianzhan.

They all call me Protector Jianzhan."

Xu Zimei understood what the elder meant by others' fate.

Those others referred to are from other Dominator factions that he had slain.

During his battle with them, likely, the entire Victory City was focused here.

After killing them, Xu Zimei could clearly feel many more gazes upon him.

Even before, when he obtained the Emperor Lu legacy, there weren't as many watching him.

This Protector Jianzhan probably knew he'd come, wanting to avoid conflict, thus meeting him.

"May I see the White Emperor Stele?" Xu Zimei asked.

"Certainly, your face is worth respecting," Protector Jianzhan laughed.

"However, activating the White Emperor Stele requires a massive amount of resources.

This is something our Western Dragon Cult cannot pay, and you'll need to find a solution yourself."

"Not a problem, I lack everything except money," Xu Zimei waved.

Money had long lost its meaning to him.

For example, Spirit Stones, which ordinary people use for cultivation; at Xu Zimei's level, only Enlightenment matters.

The Spiritual Energy within him had nowhere to be expended.

"That's reassuring," Protector Jianzhan relaxed, gesturing.

He said, "Mingli, take this fellow traveler to the White Emperor Stele, follow the procedures."

As his words fell, a handsome young monk in monk's robes walked over.

"Please!"

The young monk led the way.

Xu Zimei left Xin Laowu outside, since not everyone could enter the White Emperor Stele.

Passing through the white jade fence, Xu Zimei distinctly felt the void surrounding him change.

It seemed this space was different from the outside world.

The further they walked in, the more chaotic and distorted the space above became.

The area was deserted.

Monk Mingli took out a round bead, offering it to Xu Zimei, saying, "This is the Space-Stabilizing Bead, with it, you need not fear the chaotic space.

Otherwise, you might be swallowed by space.

This space is without rules; the more you resist, the worse the distortion becomes."

Xu Zimei accepted the bead, and they continued walking.

Finally, they arrived at the source of the twisted void.

A high stone stele, akin to a natural moat.

The stele seemed endless, competing in height with the Firmament.

If not approached, the stele was invisible; yet it was so tall, making this very peculiar.

The stele was currently in a sealed state.

No one knew its true name, but because it was left by the White Emperor, it was called the White Emperor Stele.

"Have you prepared the resources?" Monk Mingli asked.

Xu Zimei waved.

In his spatial reserve, countless Spirit Stones rolled out, piling around the White Emperor Stele in an instant.

"Is it enough?" Xu Zimei asked.

Monk Mingli hesitated, then nodded.

He asked, "Fellow traveler, which period do you wish to visit?"
