Sun and Gyeol’s brunch passed smoothly.

Sun, who had been stiff and awkward at first, gradually regained his composure. His ears still turned bright red from time to time, but he no longer stammered, nor did he suddenly say or do anything strange.

Gyeol laughed softly at words he never expected to hear from Sun’s mouth.

“Yes, I know. I ate a lot of that when I was an idol. Chicken breast, sweet potatoes, and vegetables. It’s just funny hearing you use abbreviations.”

“......I can use abbreviations too. I’m a young person these days.”

“A young person these days.”

Gyeol burst into laughter again. Sun pressed his lips into a straight line as his ears and the back of his neck flushed red.

“Ah, sorry. I’m really not trying to tease you. You’re just cute, so I couldn’t help it.”

Sun froze like a boulder.

At this point, Gyeol felt like he more or less understood. As if answering a quiz, he challenged him.

“Answer! Let me guess. You get embarrassed when someone calls you cute.”

“D-don’t tease me.”

Sun scrubbed his face with both hands. When he lowered them, even his face had turned red.

He was too entertaining.

Matching Sun’s pace had made Gyeol overeat more than usual, so he had already been resting his chin on his hand and watching Sun’s eating-show content. Now he straightened his posture.

Gyeol’s fork cut into the edge of the strawberry tart. Supporting it with his hand so it would not fall, he held the bite-sized piece out to Sun.

Sun’s pupils visibly shook.

They did not simply shake. It was closer to a major earthquake.

To Gyeol, accepting food from Yuli or feeding Yuli was nothing unusual. He also often fed Bae Hyesung, who shared childcare duties with him. Otherwise, Bae Hyesung frequently failed to even eat properly while looking after the child.

Gyeol felt pure joy from Sun’s many different sides.

After hesitating, Sun opened his mouth and carefully accepted the food. The faint sensation of his teeth scraping the fork traveled all the way to Gyeol’s hand.

Sun chewed for a very long time on the sweetness that would have melted away on his tongue in seconds. Then he rubbed his reddened face several times.

“...I don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything this sweet in my life.”

Even while embarrassed, he still said everything he wanted to say.

Feeling shy himself, Gyeol playfully hit Sun’s shoulder.

“Isn’t that way too much of an exaggeration?”

“It is not an exaggeration.”

“Ugh, every time you say things like that, something keeps tickling.”

“...Is that so? Then I should do it more.”

“What exactly are you saying you’ll do more of right now?”

Their teasing and jokes continued.

Sun laughed, and Gyeol laughed a lot along with him.

It was a moment when he was not conscious of the cameras or the production team filming him at all.

He was simply having fun.

Enough that he wished only moments like this would continue for the rest of filming.
