Reading the plot, Xiao Heqing’s face burned with embarrassment. She couldn’t bear to read any further. She quickly slammed the book shut and bit her lip. Shoving the wicked book under her pillow, she closed her eyes again and muttered to herself.

"This kind of wicked book should be destroyed! Who would even write such a thing? I need to sleep. I was just dreaming about Lin Zhengran, and I want to go back to that dream. I’m not reading this stuff anymore. Damn you, Wenwen!"

It was unknown how much time passed before Xiao Heqing fell asleep again. However, those mere five minutes of reading caused Xiao Heqing to have her very first steamy dream about Lin Zhengran.

The weather was fantastic today. Han Wenwen jogged out of the dorm building, only slowing her pace when she reached the school gates. From a distance, she spotted Lin Zhengran chatting with a girl at the entrance. The Little Fox’s expression shifted subtly before she strolled over at a leisurely pace.

The girl standing in front of Lin Zhengran was rather pretty. Her face was a bit round, but she was incredibly cute. She clutched an envelope, blushing deeply, while a group of her friends cheered her on from afar, likely whispering things like, "You can do it, babe!"

The girl stammered shyly, "S-Senior, I’m from the high school next door. I’ve seen you around before, quite a few times actually. So, I wanted to ask if we could be friends. Is that okay?"

Before Lin Zhengran could open his mouth, Han Wenwen walked up with a sweet smile and said, "Excuse me, miss, but this boy already has a girlfriend."

Seeing Han Wenwen, the girl panicked. "Ah? R-Really?"

Han Wenwen narrowed her foxy eyes at her. "What do you think?"

The girl finally grasped the reality of the situation. "Oh, I had no idea! I... I’m so sorry! Sorry for bothering you!"

She ran off in shame, and Lin Zhengran watched her retreat. Han Wenwen also watched the girl and her friends hurry away.

She said softly, "So, you’ve finished seducing all the girls in our school, and now you’re starting on the ones from other schools? Is there no end to this?"

Hearing her use his full name instead of her usual private term of endearment, Lin Zhengran glanced at Han Wenwen, who was clearly jealous but feigning nonchalance. He teased her right back, "Student Han Wenwen, when did you ever see me seduce a girl from another school?"

Han Wenwen puffed out her cheeks, dropping the act. "I just saw it with my own eyes! Stop pretending, Zhengran!"

"But I was going to reject her anyway. Does that count as seducing?"

Han Wenwen retorted, "It does!"

"You’re just being unreasonable now, aren’t you?"

Han Wenwen crossed her arms and looked away. "Hmph! So what if I am?"

He flicked her on the forehead, making the Little Fox yelp.

"Where do you want to go today?" he asked.

Hearing this, a certain pair of foxy eyes lit up. She pulled out her phone, opened her notes app, and handed it to Lin Zhengran. At first glance, Lin Zhengran only saw five locations.

"Not bad. If it’s just these few places, we can take our time."

Han Wenwen blinked. "What do you mean, ’just these few places’? There are over a dozen pages! Scroll down, Zhengran."

Lin Zhengran scrolled down and found that there really were over a dozen pages... listing at least a hundred different spots. He was speechless. "This many? Never mind if we can even finish going to all of them, our city isn’t even that big. It’s a miracle you managed to find all these places."

Han Wenwen explained, "I collected them little by little. It seems like our classmates always go to these places when they’re dating, so I wanted to check them out too." Her invisible fox ears seemed to twitch. "Let’s get started, shall we? We only have so much time in a day!"

"There are too many places. Don’t blame me if we can’t get through them all."

"I’d love to blame you, but are you really that easy to blame? You do nothing but hit me and bully me."

"Why do you make it sound like I’m so violent?"

Lin Zhengran hailed a taxi, and the two set off for their first stop of the day: the arcade.

Even though the Little Fox usually spoke and acted in a calm, collected manner, she completely let loose whenever she was with Lin Zhengran. It was as if she had been released into the wild. Clinging to Lin Zhengran’s arm at the arcade, she played a bit of everything, dragging him from one machine to another to check things out.

The Little Fox didn’t spare the snacks and drinks, either. Somehow, without him even noticing, she would always end up buying something to hold. She would even ask pointless questions: "Zhengran, do you want to eat this? Zhengran, do you want to eat that? Zhengran, do you want to..."

"If you want to eat it, just buy it. Besides, can you even eat all that?"

"That’s why I’m only buying a little bit of everything! Just to taste."

Whenever she ate, Han Wenwen would make Lin Zhengran take a bite first before popping it into her own mouth. So, while it looked like she was doing all the eating, they were actually splitting everything half-and-half.

After finishing up at the arcade, she dragged Lin Zhengran to the city’s amusement park. Although many of the rides there weren’t very grand, the Little Fox still had a blast on the mini roller coaster and the small drop tower.

That was until they were leaving the park and she spotted a stall selling giant ice cream cones by the entrance. Suddenly, the Little Fox couldn’t take another step. She tugged at Lin Zhengran’s arm, stars shining in her eyes. "Look! Look, Zhengran! Such a huge ice cream! I want to try it..."

The ice cream was about the size of a person’s forearm. It was more expensive than a regular cone—not that the money mattered—but Lin Zhengran knew at a glance that she wouldn’t be able to finish it.

"Are you sure you can finish that?"

Han Wenwen was speechless for a moment. Then, she bit her lip, looked at Lin Zhengran, and offered a slow smile. "I just want one bite..."

Lin Zhengran didn’t hesitate to flick her forehead.

Han Wenwen aggrievedly rested her head against his arm, hugging it tight. She was really asking for a smack.

Suddenly, the vendor brought out a batch of mini ice cream cones. This time, the Little Fox was truly desperate. She yanked on Lin Zhengran’s arm. "A small one! A small one! A small one is fine, right?"

This time, Lin Zhengran had no choice but to go over and buy one. Han Wenwen happily licked her ice cream as she checked where their next stop would be...

And then... she got a stomachache.

At one in the afternoon, Lin Zhengran stood outside the women’s restroom. This was Han Wenwen’s third trip to the bathroom in the past half hour.

When she emerged, it looked as if she had lost one of her nine tails. She wobbled out of the restroom, went over to Lin Zhengran, and leaned heavily against his arm. "Zhengran... that ice cream was poisoned..."

Lin Zhengran fought the urge to laugh. "It probably wasn’t the ice cream’s fault. The main issue is that you ate too much junk and deliberately skipped breakfast. It’d be weirder if you *didn’t* get an upset stomach."

Han Wenwen peered at Lin Zhengran with her foxy eyes, looking utterly wronged. "But you ate it too, Zhengran."

Lin Zhengran gave her a half-smile.

Han Wenwen accepted reality. "Alright, fine. I thought I had a pretty strong constitution, but I guess I’m still not up to par."

"It is pretty good. Compared to a normal person, you’re strong enough. Have you recovered now? Do you want to keep exploring, or should we find a place to rest?"

"I want to go home..."

Lin Zhengran really couldn’t hold back his laughter this time. "We’ve only been out for the morning. Didn’t you want to visit a hundred places when we started?"

Han Wenwen’s voice was whiny, and she looked thoroughly listless. "My tummy hurts, I can’t walk anymore. I want to go home and lie in your arms for a bit."

"Alright. We’ll buy some medicine on the way back."

Lin Zhengran and Han Wenwen began walking toward the main road to head home. However, while trying to hail a cab, they suddenly spotted a stall selling stuffed animals by the street. There was a giant stuffed dog, about half the size of a person.

It was unknown what kind of magic that dog possessed, but it made both Lin Zhengran and Han Wenwen turn to look at it simultaneously.

After staring at it for a moment, Han Wenwen inexplicably burst into giggles. "Why do I feel like... this dog looks exactly like you, Zhengran?"

Lin Zhengran shot her a look, and Han Wenwen quickly covered her mouth and shook her head, whispering, "Wenwen didn’t say anything, and Zhengran didn’t hear a thing~"

She gently tugged at Lin Zhengran’s arm. It went without saying—she wanted to buy it.

Although it was a bit absurd, Lin Zhengran had to admit that the dog did look remarkably like him. The eyes and overall aura were especially similar. So, without agonizing over it too much, he bought the dog that looked exactly like him, paying in full right there.

On the cab ride home, Han Wenwen laughed so hard at the dog that her stomach started hurting again.

"Zhengran, I can’t take it anymore! How can something be this funny? But with this dog around from now on, I won’t ever be scared at night~"
