Chapter 660: Teleportation Talisman
Chapter 660 -656: Teleportation Talisman
“Shit! Hong Yu, you dare hit me? You’re courting death…”
Ma Qi roared, his face covered in blood and twisted with rage.
He felt incredibly wronged and frustrated.
He was high and mighty. His grandfather was the Grand Elder of the Celestial Horse Race, a man of immense power and influence, possessing incredible strength.
A powerhouse standing at the very pinnacle of the True Dragon Battlefield!
‘Even the Divine King powerhouses of the great Divine Cities treat me as a brother. And yet, under these circumstances, I was beaten by some new True Dragon who just entered the True Dragon Battlefield?’
And it was a fucking blatant slap to the face!
“Still acting tough with me?”
Hong Yu’s eyes widened fiercely.
‘Motherfucker!’
‘If it weren’t for my Rashomon saving my ass at the last second, this brute would’ve killed me with that arrow.’
‘Now he’s under my foot, and he still dares to threaten me?’
This was beyond infuriating. It was simply intolerable!
“Shit!”
Hong Yu lifted his foot and stomped down again. It was a vicious kick, landing right on Ma Qi’s jaw and shattering all the teeth in his mouth.
“AHHHH…”
Ma Qi spat out blood and screamed incessantly, “Hong Yu, you’re a dead man! No one in heaven or on earth can save you now…”
Hong Yu’s eyes glared, and he was about to strike again.
Just then, he saw the other thirty powerhouses from the Celestial Horse Race preparing to charge. He immediately looked up, a fierce glint in his eyes, and barked, “Don’t you dare move! If any of you take another step, I’ll kill him!”
As he spoke, he caught sight of a few bricks on the ground, left over from a collapsed building.
With a wave of his hand, he used his power to pull a brick from the rubble and into his grasp.
“Hong Yu, release our Commander.”
“If you dare to harm the Commander, you’ll become a mortal enemy of our Celestial Horse Race. No one in the entire True Dragon Battlefield will be able to save you.”
“Don’t bring this upon yourself!”
The Celestial Horse Race powerhouses shouted one after another.
“What?”
Hong Yu’s eyes blazed. He was thoroughly enraged now.
‘These brutes are telling me not to bring this on myself? And spouting some bullshit about becoming mortal enemies?’
‘From the very beginning, I never provoked anyone. I didn’t even know what the Celestial Horse Race was like before this. They’re the ones who have been targeting and framing me from start to finish, all for the Venerable Golden Bone and the Treasures I possess.’
‘They even went so far as to use Little Chenxi’s safety to threaten me.’
‘And in this situation, they still have the gall to threaten me so shamelessly?’
The more Hong Yu thought about it, the angrier he became.
Just then, Ma Qi, still pinned under Hong Yu’s foot, recovered from the last kick. A venomous glint flickered in his eyes. “You bunch of trash, what are you wasting words with him for? Just attack! This bastard wouldn’t dare kill this young master. If he did, my grandfather would not only kill him but also everyone associated with him. He won’t take that risk.”
“What did you just say?”
Hong Yu narrowed his eyes, staring down at Ma Qi.
The expression on his face grew unnervingly calm.
Ma Qi’s mouth was full of blood as he sneered, “Don’t think I don’t know. In your heart, the Hong Alliance and even that Xiahuang Shang, the City Lord of the City of Sorrow, are your friends. With your personality, you’d never let your friends be endangered. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have rashly come here. Heh heh, go on, kill me if you have the guts!”
Ma Qi continued fearlessly, “My grandfather is the Grand Elder of the Celestial Horse Race. His strength is comparable to the Lord of a Divine City. If you dare to harm me, as soon as the Prohibition in the core region disappears, my grandfather will lead the Celestial Horse Race to crush the Hong Alliance and kill every single person related to you!”
Faced with Ma Qi’s confident roars, Hong Yu fell silent for a moment.
The smile on Ma Qi’s face grew even more smug and sinister.
He believed he had found Hong Yu’s weakness and clamored, “Hurry up and let me go! Then, offer all the Treasures on you to me. Maybe I’ll even spare your life and tell my grandfather not to harm your friends. Otherwise, don’t even think about anyone connected to you leaving the True Dragon Battlefield alive.”
Ma Qi then fell silent.
He was waiting for Hong Yu to compromise.
However…
After a full two minutes, Hong Yu still hadn’t responded. Ma Qi found this strange and slowly raised his head.
What met him was a brick, smashing directly into his face with a loud BANG.
The brick, enhanced with Primordial Gang, was incredibly hard. The impact sent blood streaming from Ma Qi’s nose. He grew dizzy, his vision filled with flashing stars.
“You… you still dare to hit me?”
Ma Qi regained his senses and stared at Hong Yu in stunned disbelief.
He never imagined that Hong Yu would still dare to attack him under these circumstances.
“Are you crazy? Are you trying to get your friends killed?” Ma Qi continued to curse.
Hong Yu glanced at him and sneered, “Anyone who dares to touch my friends, I will personally twist their head off. Also…” As he spoke, he viciously smashed the brick down again, leaving Ma Qi dizzy. “In my life, the thing I hate most is people threatening me with my friends!”
As he spoke, he smashed him viciously with the brick two more times.
With Ma Qi’s great strength, although the brick was enhanced with Primordial Gang and made extremely hard,
it definitely wasn’t enough to take his life.
But the problem was…
right now, Ma Qi would rather Hong Yu just kill him with a single brick.
“Ah… Hong Yu, this isn’t over between us!”
“Still talking tough?”
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! The brick landed again and again.
“My grandfather will definitely destroy the Hong Alliance and kill all your friends…”
“Your mouth is as foul and stubborn as a rock in a latrine pit!”
A rapid series of SMACK SMACK SMACK SMACK from the brick followed.
“I… I… I swear I’m not human if I don’t kill you…”
“You’re a beast that’s neither man nor horse. Who gave you the right to call yourself human?”
The brick rained down in a continuous torrent, moving so fast it was just a series of afterimages.
“I… I…”
“Still not convinced?”
Enraged, Hong Yu continued to smash the brick down again and again.
Ma Qi, on the ground, was on the verge of tears. He wailed, “I… I was saying… I was saying I give up! I won’t do it again…”
“You’re a beast, you have no right to call yourself ‘I’!”
Hong Yu showed no mercy and continued his brick-fueled assault.
“…”
The Celestial Horse Race powerhouses standing by were drenched in sweat, not daring to say a word. All they could do was watch anxiously.
They were all incredibly frustrated right now.
They were worried for Ma Qi’s safety, but also afraid that if they acted rashly, they would provoke Hong Yu into killing Ma Qi on the spot.
Caught in a dilemma, they could only stand there and watch as Hong Yu relentlessly swung the brick, smashing Ma Qi until his nose streamed with blood and his face was a mangled, unrecognizable mess.
“SOB… Little Horse wouldn’t dare, Lord Hong Yu, please spare me! Little Horse will never do it again…”
Ma Qi was curled up on the ground, his hands covering his head, his whole body trembling. He was a truly pathetic sight.
He was truly scared now.
As the saying goes, the ruthless fear the reckless, and the reckless fear those who don’t fear death.
As for Hong Yu…
…in Ma Qi’s mind, he had already been branded as completely insane.
Faced with such an opponent, no matter how tough Ma Qi was to the bone, he didn’t dare act arrogant any longer.
“If you had just been this obedient from the start, none of this would have happened. You just had to get a beating to learn how to behave. You’re really a fucking glutton for punishment,” Hong Yu said, dusting off his hands.
“I…”
Enraged, Ma Qi wanted to retort.
But when he saw Hong Yu casually tossing the brick in his hand, he swallowed the words on the tip of his tongue. Curling up like a shrimp, he said weakly, “You’re right, my lord. It’s all my fault for asking for it. I am a wretch… no, no, I am a wretched steed, not a person, not a person…”
Hong Yu: “…”
The Celestial Horse Race powerhouses covered their faces: “…”
‘Is this still the proud and arrogant Ma Qi, the grand Commander of the Celestial Horse Race who looks down on everyone?’
Hong Yu bent down, picked up the jade bottle from the side, and swirled the two drops of the Celestial Horse ancestor’s Life Essence Blood inside. He muttered, “This is good stuff. If I coat the Godslaying Spear with this in the future, I should be able to take out quite a few people by surprise!” As he spoke, he put it into his Storage Ring.
He also picked up the Seventh Grade Junior Level Great Bow.
He tested its weight in his hand, found it quite heavy, and nodded. “Nice bow. I’ll take it!”
A surging wave of Spiritual Power flooded into the Giant Bow, easily erasing Ma Qi’s spiritual imprint. He then stored it in his Storage Ring as well.
Next, his gaze fell upon the Storage Ring on Ma Qi’s finger.
“SWISH!”
Ma Qi felt Hong Yu’s predatory gaze and quickly clenched his fist, looking at Hong Yu with a pleading expression.
“Hand it over, or I’ll cut off your finger,” Hong Yu said expressionlessly.
“I… I…”
“Still fucking daring to call yourself ‘I’?”
Hong Yu served him another round with the brick.
Looking as if he had just lost his parents, Ma Qi gave Hong Yu an incredibly resentful look. Still, he didn’t dare disobey and could only obediently hand over the Storage Ring. His heart was bleeding!
Hong Yu repeated the process, erasing the spiritual imprint and claiming ownership of the Storage Ring.
A quick look inside made him quite excited.
There were quite a few Treasures inside, especially a Combat Skill for Arrow Technique called *Arrow Piercing the Sky*, which delighted Hong Yu.
He had just personally experienced how powerful this Combat Skill was.
“A pity there are no Arrows!”
Hong Yu’s eyes darted around and landed on the pair of Celestial Horse’s Wings on Ma Qi’s back.
Ma Qi trembled, a chill running through his body. “N-no way…”
「A short while later…」
A bloodcurdling scream from Ma Qi echoed through the Centaur Race’s main camp.
“What are you screaming for? I’m just plucking a few feathers.”
Hong Yu kicked him in dissatisfaction and proceeded to forcibly pluck every single feather from his sparkling golden Celestial Horse’s Wings.
Each feather shone with a brilliant golden light and was incredibly hard—they were all natural Divine Arrows.
“Tsk, tsk, not bad, not bad at all!”
Hong Yu nodded, then turned his greedy gaze to the other Celestial Horse Race powerhouses. Half an hour later, the thirty War King powerhouses of the Celestial Horse Race were left with nothing but bare wing frames, without a single feather among them. Each one was squatting on the ground, silently drawing circles in the dirt.
Hong Yu cast a wicked glance at Ma Qi and the others and burst out laughing. At this point, he couldn’t be bothered to kill them.
He stepped on Ma Qi’s body. “I know you must have a Treasure that can teleport you to the core region. Where is it?”
“In… in the Storage Ring!”
Ma Qi had become very obedient.
The brick had beaten the fear into him!
Following his words, Hong Yu took out a Teleportation Talisman from the ring. It had faint spatial fluctuations. He asked, puzzled, “This?”
“Y-Yes!”
Ma Qi nodded repeatedly.
Hong Yu rubbed his chin. “Where can it teleport me?”
“To the main camp of my Celestial Horse Race,” Ma Qi said honestly.
Hong Yu nodded.
Of course, he wasn’t going to use the Teleportation Talisman right away. With a flick of his finger, he shot out several streams of dark-golden Nine Netherworld Burning World Flame, completely sealing the cultivation of Ma Qi and the others. Unless Hong Yu personally removed the Seal, they would have to wait a year or two for the Nine Netherworld Burning World Flame to dissipate on its own before their cultivation could be restored.
After taking care of everything, Hong Yu flew up, found Zhu Ling’Er, and took her with him, soaring into the sky and disappearing into the distance.
Staring at Hong Yu’s disappearing figure on the horizon, the fawning expression on Ma Qi’s face slowly froze and turned to ice. He roared in fury…
“Hong Yu, I will not rest until one of us is dead!”
