Chapter 119 | The Shadow Queen Returns*
Chapter 119: 119 | The Shadow Queen Returns*
For three days, the Cloud-Sea Pavilion had remained sealed. Aunt Lin and Madam Shen had spent that time stabilizing their newly formed Foundation Establishment cultivation, while Lin Tian quietly kept the Shadow Web moving.
Tonight, that calm was broken.
Dense clouds covered the sky above the Crimson Nimbus Sect, blocking the moon and leaving the pavilion surrounded by darkness. Lin Tian stood alone on the balcony, his dark robes moving gently in the cold mountain wind as his Divine Sense spread through the surrounding area.
He sensed it before he saw her.
The shadows behind a stone pillar shifted almost imperceptibly.A figure stepped out of the darkness and landed silently on the balcony.
Lady Yun had returned.
She wore a dark outer robe that concealed her spiritual aura, making her presence difficult to detect even at close range. At forty-five years old, she had reached the Middle Stage of Foundation Establishment.
Her reputation in the Underground Ghost Market had been built on years of careful work and precise
killings.
Yet, in front of Lin Tian, she lowered her guard immediately.
"My Sovereign," Lady Yun said quietly, dropping gracefully to one knee. "I have passed the outer sect formations and returned as ordered."
Lin Tian turned to face her. His golden eyes swept over her slender frame once before he spoke.
"You arrived sooner than expected."
"I did not want to delay your plans."
Her answer was calm, but a deep, hidden fatigue lingered beneath her disciplined
posture.
Lin Tian’s expression changed slightly as he silently triggered his Insight Eye.

[Physique: Dark Yin Body]
[Yin Backlash — 100% Cured]
[Current Condition: Yin-Yang Spiritual Imbalance Obsession Level: 100%]
Lin Tian’s eyes narrowed slightly.
The Dark Yin Backlash had indeed disappeared, but her time away in the chaotic Ghost Market had left her internal energies unstable. Her Qi was fluctuating just beneath the surface of her calm exterior.
Lady Yun noticed the shift in his gaze.
"Is something wrong?"
"Your cultivation is stable, but your Yin and Yang energies are not fully balanced," Lin Tian said. "How long has this persisted?"
"Since returning to the Ghost Market," she replied, her head bowed. "It became heavier during the journey."
Lin Tian was silent for a moment, realizing why she looked so worn despite hiding her presence so perfectly.
"Come inside," he instructed, turning toward the door. "The isolation formations will make it easier to examine your condition."
Lady Yun nodded without hesitation.
They slipped into the private inner chamber while Madam Shen and Aunt Lin remained deep in meditation down the hall. The heavy doors closed with a muffled click, sealing them in absolute privacy.
Lin Tian guided her down onto the profound-ice silk sheets.
Her eyes, usually cold and calculating as an elite assassin, softened instantly into pools of absolute, trembling worship.
With eager fingers, she unfastened her dark stealth-gear, stripping it away to reveal her mature, flawless body beneath. Her skin was flushed with a restless heat, weeping with the unquenched need of her unbalanced Qi.
Lin Tian did not rush. He stood over her, his eyes slowly tracking down her bare form before he reached out and touched her skin. His warm palm slid across her stomach, feeling her soft flesh tremble under his heavy, possessive grip.
A soft, breathless gasp slipped past her lips, her body instinctively arching upward to chase the warmth of his palm.
She reached up, her trembling fingers brushing against his chest as she silently begged for the release only he could provide.
Satisfied by her total surrender, Lin Tian stepped between her parted thighs, his towering frame overshadowing her completely. Without hesitation, he drove his thick, burning length deep into her tight, weeping core.
"AHHH—!"
Lady Yun’s back arched violently off the mattress, a high, breathless cry of pure salvation tearing from her throat.
Tears pricked the corners of her eyes from the sheer, overwhelming relief of his heat flooding her empty meridians.
"Master... yes... fill me," she wept, her long, elegant legs wrapping desperately around his waist as she pulled him deeper into her soul.
This was not a mere physical act; it was a sacred exchange of surrender and absolute ownership.
Lin Tian moved with a relentless, commanding rhythm, every deep thrust burning away the lingering remnants of her spiritual imbalance.
Her Dark Yin Body greedily drank in his Primordial Yang, surging a massive, pure stream of foundation-level Yin energy straight back into her dantian.
Within minutes, the blinding influx of his golden Qi pushed her to the absolute edge.
She climaxed with a fierce, rembling spasm, milking his length while Lin Tian answered with a final, earth-shattering thrust that sealed her absolute, unwavering devotion forever.
An hour later, the grand hall of the Cloud-Sea Pavilion was quiet beneath the soft glow of its formation lamps.
Lin Tian sat at the head of a polished spirit-wood table. Madam Shen handled resources, Aunt Lin oversaw formations and artifacts, and Lady Yun operated in the shadows. Tonight, all three sat together for the first time to discuss the next step of the plan.
Lin Tian’s golden eyes passed over them before he spoke.
"The Shadow Web is not a weapon we can swing openly. It must spread one step at a time. The Crimson Nimbus Sect is controlled by Core Formation Patriarchs and powerful Hall Masters, so a single careless move could draw their attention to us."
He rested one hand on the table.
"Everything we do must remain within the rules of the sect. We apply pressure without giving anyone a reason to look in our direction."
His gaze settled on Madam Shen.
"Madam Shen, you are the Vice-Manager of the Resource Hall, not its sole authority. How much control do you actually have over Elder Liu’s resources?"
Madam Shen answered without hesitation.
"My Sovereign, the Hall Master reviews the main records every month. Elder Liu is also a 4-Star Alchemist of the Inner Sect. If I openly refuse her requests for pure Yang-attribute herbs, she will report the matter, and the Hall Master will investigate."
Lin Tian nodded. "Then we cannot refuse her directly. How will you reduce her supply without leaving a clear trail?"
Madam Shen considered the question for a moment.
"I will approve the requests as usual. After that, some shipments can be delayed because of routine transfers, while others can take longer routes when the resource hall is handling several orders at once. I will keep the delays irregular so they do not form an obvious pattern."
She continued in a calm voice, "Some batches can also arrive with slightly reduced quality. Nothing severe enough to raise suspicion, but enough to matter over time. The records will still show that her requests were approved and sent."
Lin Tian gave a slight nod.
"Good. Never give them one mistake large enough to investigate. Let every problem appear ordinary."
Madam Shen lowered her head. "Understood."
Lin Tian then turned toward Aunt Lin.
"Your position is different. You oversee the Artifact Pavilion, but you cannot freely enter the Inner Sect, much less approach Alchemy Peak. A direct attempt to interfere with a Core Formation cultivator’s Earth-Fire formation would be too risky."
Aunt Lin nodded calmly.
"That is true. If I approach Alchemy Peak directly, there is a real chance that Elder Liu’s Divine Sense will notice me before I reach the formation."
She rested one hand lightly on the table.
"But I do not need to enter Alchemy Peak again. The flaw I placed in the outer formation node is already there."
Lin Tian’s eyes sharpened slightly.
"When Elder Liu draws more Earth-Fire into her chambers, the altered spiritual flow will become unstable."
"Yes," Aunt Lin replied. "Under normal conditions, the formation will continue to function. The problem will only appear when she pushes it too hard, so it should look like a consequence of excessive use rather than outside interference."
"Good," Lin Tian said. "Leave it as it is. Do not make the flaw any worse unless I give the order."
Aunt Lin nodded. "I understand."
Finally, Lin Tian looked toward Lady Yun.
"You are the only one here who can move through places the rest of us cannot reach. What did you notice on your way back?"
Lady Yun answered calmly.
"Increased movement around Alchemy Peak. Several disciples have been sent to retrieve materials, and Elder Liu has begun restricting access to her private chambers. No one appears to suspect that anything is wrong."
Lin Tian leaned back slightly.
"Stay out of sight. Watch the movements around Alchemy Peak and the Resource Hall. I want information, not a confrontation."
Lady Yun nodded. "Understood. I will keep you informed."
Lin Tian looked at the three women in turn.
"From now on, no one acts alone. Madam Shen will apply pressure through resources. Aunt Lin will maintain the hidden flaw in Alchemy Peak’s formation. Lady Yun will watch the Inner Sect and keep us informed."
The three women nodded quietly.
"Elder Liu is already struggling with her own condition," Lin Tian continued. "We do not need to push her into ruin. We only need to let the pressure build until she can no longer solve the problem herself."
His gaze settled on the jade slips spread across the table.
"When she reaches that point, we will decide what comes next."
The room fell silent for a moment as each woman considered her role. None of them needed to move openly; each could advance the plan from her own position.
The Shadow Web remained hidden, but its influence was already spreading deeper into the Crimson Nimbus Sect.
Aunt Lin’s golden-brown eyes remained calm as she explained the part she had already put in place.
"The outer Earth-Fire formation on Alchemy Peak already has a hidden flaw. I placed it in the primary formation node during my infiltration. Under normal conditions, the formation will continue to work without showing any obvious change."
She continued, "But when Elder Liu draws a large amount of Earth-Fire into her chambers, the altered spiritual flow will become unstable. The harder she pushes the formation, the worse the disturbance will become."
Lin Tian nodded. "And no one will find the cause unless they know exactly where to look."
"Exactly. They will assume Elder Liu pushed the Earth-Fire too far during pill refinement."
Lin Tian turned toward Lady Yun. "What about the Ghost Market?"
"Several of Elder Liu’s disciples have already gone there," Lady Yun replied. "With the sect’s supply of pure Yang-attribute herbs becoming harder to obtain, they are looking for replacements through outside merchants."
She added, "They have not found what they need yet, but they are becoming desperate. I can follow their movements and learn what they purchase without revealing myself."
Madam Shen nodded. "The official records will still show that Elder Liu’s requests were approved. The delays and shortages will appear to be ordinary problems within the Resource Hall."
Lin Tian looked at the three women.
"Good. Keep the three sides separate. Madam Shen maintains the pressure on her supplies. Aunt Lin leaves the formation as it is. Lady Yun watches the Ghost Market and the movements around Alchemy Peak."
He rested his fingers against the table.
"Elder Liu is already being pushed toward desperation. We do not need to force the final step. The more she struggles to solve the problem herself, the more likely she is to make a mistake."
His gaze settled on the distant peaks.
"Once her own methods are no longer enough, we will decide how to approach her."
The three women nodded quietly.
For now, none of them needed to act openly. The resources were being restricted, the formation flaw remained hidden, and Lady Yun was watching the movements around the sect.
The Shadow Web remained undiscovered, but its influence was quietly spreading deeper into the Crimson Nimbus Sect.
