Immortal World : MILF Dual Cultivation
Chapter 87: Queen’s Vow
Morning light streamed through the workshop windows. The Yang-Gathering Formation lay exhausted. The nine fire stones had crumbled to ash.
Lin Tian sat cross-legged in the settling dust, his eyes closed in meditation. His scarred torso rose and fell in rhythmic breathing. The air around him hummed with residual spiritual energy.
Inside his Dantian, a transformation had settled. The vast ocean of gaseous Qi was gone. In its place lay a serene lake of pure liquid golden essence. Foundation Establishment.
The difference was monumental. Gaseous Qi was like a gentle breeze. Liquid Qi was like a crashing waterfall. His physical might had multiplied tenfold. His spiritual reserves had expanded beyond measure.
His meridians, already reinforced by the 13th Layer, now pulsed with liquid power. Every cell in his body hummed with newfound strength. He could feel the weight of his new realm settling into his bones.
He opened his eyes. Golden light flashed within them, illuminating the shadowed corners. Then the light faded, retracting into his calm gaze.
He had shed his mortal shell. He was now a true cultivatore of the cultivation world.
His gaze drifted to the woman beside him. Lady Yun lay on her side, wrapped in his discarded robes. Her silver-white hair spilled across the stone floor like moonlight.
The transformation she had undergone overnight was nothing short of miraculous. Her body, once plagued by fatal frost, now radiated warmth and vitality. Her skin glowed like polished jade, flawless and luminous. The dark circles under her eyes had vanished completely.
The lines of pain that had etched themselves into her face for decades were gone. She looked vibrant and youthful, yet retained her mature, alluring charm. The Abyssal Void-Shadow Empress Art had integrated perfectly with her reconstructed Dantian.
Even in sleep, pure Dark Yin energy circulated through her meridians in perfect harmony. The curse that had plagued her for decades was gone. The death sentence she had carried since childhood had been erased.
The frost that had once threatened to consume her from within was now completely tamed. Her cultivation was stable for the first time in her life.
Her silver-white lashes fluttered. She slowly opened her profound, alluring eyes.
For a moment, confusion clouded her vision. Then memories flooded back. The assassination attempt. The agonizing backlash of her Dark Yin energy. His descent like a primordial sun god. The soul-shaking dual cultivation that had saved her life.
Her eyes widened in absolute awe. She channeled her divine sense inward. Her Dantian, once riddled with cracks, was now completely fine.
The liquid Qi of her Foundation Establishment realm was no longer a chaotic, freezing storm that threatened to kill her. It was a tranquil abyss of pure shadow, perfectly obedient to her will.
Her cultivation was stable for the first time in decades. She was cured. The frost was gone. The pain was gone. The fear of imminent death was gone.
She slowly sat up. The discarded robes slipped from her shoulders, exposing her magnificent form to the cool morning air. She made no attempt to cover herself.
Before the man who had saved her, she held no secrets. She held no pride. She held nothing but gratitude. With grace honed by decades of martial arts, she slid off the stone floor.
She knelt before him, her movements fluid and deliberate. She pressed her forehead against the cold stone. Her silver-white hair cascaded around her like a waterfall of moonlight.
"Master," she spoke, her voice trembling with deep emotion. "You drew the poison from my veins. You pulled my soul from the frozen gates of the Netherworld."
"You bestowed upon me a supreme art that makes my previous cultivation look like the scribblings of a child. You gave me back my life. You gave me back my future."
She raised her head, looking into his golden eyes. Tears of pure gratitude shimmered in her gaze. "I was a fool who walked in the dark, believing myself to be the ruler of shadows. But today, I realize that true darkness exists only to serve the light of the Sovereign."
Her voice dropped to a resolute vow. "From this day until my soul shatters into the void, I am no longer Lady Yun of the Ghost Market."
"I am your Shadow Blade. Whoever blocks your path, I shall sever their head. Wherever your light cannot reach, my shadows shall conquer."
Lin Tian looked down at her kneeling form. The System remained silent. Her obsession had already reached its peak. Her vow was forged in salvation and surrender, not coercion.
This was genuine devotion, born from the depths of her soul. She had been saved, healed, and given purpose. She would never betray him.
"Rise, my Queen of Shadows,"his voice echoing with authority.
He reached out, cupping her cheek with his warm hand. She leaned into his touch immediately, pressing a soft kiss against his palm like a devoted servant seeking affection.
His thumb stroked her flawless skin, feeling the warmth that had replaced the fatal cold.
"The wealth, intelligence networks, and mercenary forces are vital resources for my future empire. You will return to your throne, but you will rule it in my name."
"Every shadow, every blade, every secret in the underground belongs to me through you. Your power is my power. Your network is my network."
"Your will is my absolute law," she promised, her eyes shining with lethal determination. "The Blood Lotus Pavilion and the entire Ghost Market shall become the hidden dagger of your empire."
"I will build a network that spans across sects. I will gather intelligence on your enemies. I will eliminate anyone who threatens you. No one will see me coming. No one will survive my blade."
"Good," he said, pulling his hand back. "Now dress yourself. Our business is far from concluded. A blade is useless if it is not used to draw blood."
Lady Yun’s profound eyes narrowed. Sharp killing intent flashed within them. She understood his meaning immediately.
She gracefully stood up and retrieved her dark purple Shadow Panther suit. She pulled the skin-tight material over her generous curves, zipping it up to her neck.
The submissive, weeping woman vanished. In her place stood the terrifying, untouchable assassin. Her deadly aura was entirely tethered to the man sitting before her.
She was no longer a queen of shadows ruling for herself. She was a blade in the hands of her Sovereign. Her purpose was clear.
Lin Tian retrieved a fresh set of dark obsidian robes from his spatial ring. He dressed himself quickly, his towering frame radiating heavy pressure that filled the entire workshop.
He walked to his heavy workbench and picked up a spiritual longsword. The blade gleamed in the morning light, its edge sharp enough to cut through the air itself.
"Deacon Wang," he spoke coldly. "He liquidated everything to hire the Blood Lotus. His son’s crippling, his wife’s betrayal, his failed breakthrough—he blamed all of it on me."
"A cornered dog is the most dangerous kind of beast. I do not intend to leave him breathing for another day. Today, he dies."
Lady Yun stood behind him, her presence completely masked. Even standing just three feet away, she emitted no sound, no heartbeat, no aura. She was a void in the fabric of reality, a ghost waiting to strike.
"He is a fool who allowed his hatred to blind his reason," she said, her voice a chilling professional whisper. "When he submitted the contract, he paid the premium price."
"In the Blood Lotus rules, a premium contract guarantees the assassin delivers the target’s head directly to the client before sunrise. It allows the client to personally witness their vengeance."
Lin Tian turned around, a dark, ruthless smirk playing on his lips. "So he is currently waiting for you to deliver my head."
"Yes," she nodded. "He failed his Core Formation breakthrough. His meridians are severely scorched. His Dantian leaks spiritual energy like a broken vessel."
"He cannot stay within the Inner Sect’s caves. The pure spiritual energy there is too aggressive for his damaged veins. According to my intelligence network, he has retreated to a secret safe house outside the sect’s borders."
"The defensive arrays he purchased were bought from the Ghost Market. I know their blind spots perfectly. He thinks he is hidden. He thinks he is safe. He is wrong."
"He is hiding in the dark, waiting for a ghost," Lin Tian chuckled, the sound devoid of warmth.
He remembered the lessons of his past life. The greatest taboo in cultivation was arrogance. Countless experts perished because they defeated an enemy, grew complacent, and left the roots intact.
His Earth-taught pragmatism demanded complete eradication. If an enemy wished him dead, he would not mock them and walk away. He would crush them completely, leaving no chance for revenge.
"Two Foundation Establishment cultivators against one half-crippled deacon," he analyzed, his golden eyes narrowing. "A lion uses its full strength even when hunting a rabbit."
"We will not give him any opportunity to trigger desperate blood arts or escape talismans. He dies today. Swiftly. Silently. Permanently."
"He will not even see the blade that claims his life," Lady Yun vowed, her hand resting on the hilt of her pitch-black dagger. "I know the exact location. I know every entrance and exit."
"I know every trap. His death will be swift and silent. He will not even have time to scream."
"Then lead the way, Yun," Lin Tian commanded, walking toward the iron doors. "Let us deliver Deacon Wang the head he paid for."
