Time passed slowly in the cultivation room. The air was now heavily filled with a thick bloody mist.

Yu Liang’s body had become even more riddled with injuries. His skin was split open in dozens of places, revealing the dark red, trembling muscles beneath. Blood continuously seeped from his pores, dyeing his robes completely crimson. Even his heavily tempered body was no longer holding up. Finally, due to such immense and unbearable pain, his consciousness was woken up. But it was just barely, like a tiny, flickering candle in the middle of a violent hurricane.

In that fleeting moment of clarity, the only thought that flashed across Yu Liang’s mind was, ’Too much pain!’

It was a pain that transcended the physical body, directly acting upon his very soul. Before he could even regain his sanity, his tiny bit of consciousness was once again swallowed up by the dark, heavy abyss of his overloaded soul power.

He was in a very dangerous situation right now. If this rampaging, destructive power was not treated or expelled, this may very well be the end of him. His body would eventually tear itself apart and explode into a bloody mist, dying a miserable death.

However, the sheer, overwhelming thought of "too much pain" seemed to trigger the deepest, most primal instinct any human being that is "Reflex". Since the movement techniques were destroying him, his body’s next survival instinct kicked in, survival through cultivation.

Without any conscious thought, his body automatically started to circulate his main Cultivation Technique simultaneously, going along with the chaotic movement techniques.

It was as if his body was using the overloaded soul power from the twelve crystals as fuel to forcefully temper his flesh and meridians, burning through the dangerous excess energy with every rebuild.

As this endless cycle of destruction and rebirth continued, the excess soul power was rapidly consumed, and the physical toll began to shift into a miraculous evolution. His foundation was being completely rebuilt, becoming wider, stronger, and more mysterious with every single tear and repair.
