Infinite Disasters: I Hoarded My Way to Godhood
Chapter 336: Flora Sullivan’s Monster Squad!
Chapter 336: Chapter 336: Flora Sullivan’s Monster Squad!
After reviewing the Sniper, Seraphina Sullivan then examined the Fighting Master Profession.
The Fighting Master Profession was equally powerful.
Its [Qigong] Skill, in particular, had immense potential.
It could significantly enhance close-combat survivability and diversify her attack options.
Combined with Seraphina’s enhanced physique and her newly learned [Flame Continuous Punch], choosing this Profession would make her close-combat prowess terrifyingly formidable.
Of the two Professions, one represented the pinnacle of long-range precision and tactical versatility.
The other represented frenzied close-quarters suppression and potential for Energy growth.
Each had its own merits, making the choice difficult.
But Seraphina’s mind raced as she considered the environmental characteristics and mission requirements of the current zone.
’I need to kill large numbers of them, I need a safe distance to observe and deal with unknown mutations, and I need to avoid the risk of infection...’
’Sorry, Fighting Master,’ Seraphina thought, her gaze firming with resolve.
In this treacherous Zombie Kingdom, where the virus lurked everywhere, a Profession that could efficiently, precisely, and versatilely eliminate enemies from a safe distance and collect samples clearly offered a greater survival advantage and more strategic value than one that demanded close-quarters combat and its higher risk of infection.
Without any further hesitation, Seraphina focused her intent and made her choice.
Sniper!
As her Profession was confirmed.
A new wave of knowledge and a sense of Energy flooded her body and consciousness.
Knowledge of sniper rifle mechanics, the principles of ballistics, various long-range sniping techniques, and even the subtle sense of how to compress her own Skills into a Special Bullet... she understood it all in an instant.
At the same time, the passive Effect of [Hundred Shots Hundred Hits] was branded into her like an instinct.
She raised her hand. With a flicker of her will, a slender, matte black sniper rifle with sleek lines and an aura blending technology with mystery slowly materialized and solidified in her palm.
Faint lines of Energy seemed to flow across the rifle’s body, as if it were alive.
The moment she gripped the gun, a sense of perfect control, as if it were an extension of her own arm, washed over her.
Looking through its built-in, high-precision scope at the ruins outside, her view zoomed in with perfect clarity, revealing every last detail of the zombies wandering in the distance.
"Well then, the hunt begins," Seraphina murmured to herself, her eyes as sharp as a hawk’s.
Now that she had the Sniper Profession, she felt a new, tangible confidence in her ability to complete what seemed like impossible tasks.
...
’A one-month survival time. Looks like I’ll have to prepare to dig in for the long haul in this godforsaken place.’
Seraphina stared at the long countdown timer in her mission list.
She began planning for long-term survival: securing supplies, fortifying their base, and setting up guard rotations.
Just then, Flora Sullivan walked over, holding Moe, her eyes eager for a fight. "Master, let us help take care of these zombies! We’re all really strong!"
Seraphina looked at Flora, who had volunteered so eagerly, and at her other pets, who were going stir-crazy in the pocket Space. After a moment’s thought, she nodded.
In a situation that required clearing out large numbers of common zombies, letting them fight would not only speed up the mission but also give them valuable combat experience in this new environment.
With Flora there to command them, their coordination would be much better.
"Alright. But you have to remember: safety first!"
Seraphina warned them solemnly.
"The zombies’ claws, fangs, and blood all carry the Zombie Virus. You absolutely cannot get scratched or bitten! Prioritize ranged attacks and avoid getting tied up in close-quarters combat!"
Flora Sullivan puffed out her chest, full of confidence.
"We’ll get the job done, I guarantee it!"
At that moment, Flora truly looked like a Beast Tamer Player about to lead an army of Summoned Beasts into battle.
Soon, Seraphina had summoned Chubbs, Tubbs, and Ruby.
They gathered around Flora, their eyes filled with the will to fight.
Flora Sullivan took a deep breath, feeling the surging Power within her body.
She spotted seven or eight zombies wandering on the street below. Instead of taking the stairs, she leaped gracefully from the third-floor window.
As she fell, a sudden transformation took place.
Her long, soft hair instantly grew wild as if alive, hardening into dozens of dark green, steel-tough vines covered in fine barbs!
The vines didn’t flail about randomly. They acted like precise tentacles, shooting out like javelins the instant she landed!
PFFT! PFFT! PFFT!
The tips of the vines easily pierced the eye sockets or temples of the three nearest zombies, skewering them like fruit on a stick before violently contracting and tightening!
The zombies’ heads burst open like rotten watermelons. Filthy blood and brains splattered everywhere, but none of it could stain the vines.
The barbs seemed to secrete a special mucus that repelled the filth.
Even more bizarrely, the tips of several thick vines rapidly bloomed into huge, vibrant flowers filled with Sharp Teeth.
Like vacuum cleaners, the flower buds sucked up the fallen zombie corpses and all the surrounding filth, emitting a gruesome chewing sound.
The true nature of a Cannibal Flower was on full display.
Flora Sullivan—the Decaying Flower—was no joke.
Meanwhile, Moe flew out of Flora’s arms. Its faintly glowing pupils locked onto several zombies pouncing from the side.
Without wasting any effort, it directly activated its Ability.
Petrifying Eye!
Two barely perceptible, pale green beams of light shot from its pupils, striking their targets with precision.
The zombies struck by the green light froze instantly. Their skin and muscles visibly dehydrated, turning grayish-white and hardening. Within two or three seconds, they had become two grotesque stone statues.
"BWAK BWAK! Watch my darts!"
Not to be outdone, Chubbs flapped his metallic wings. Several of his Steel Feathers, their edges as sharp as knives, shot from his body like crossbow bolts, letting out a sharp whistle as they cut through the air.
They accurately struck the foreheads or the backs of the heads of several distant zombies, piercing straight through!
Chubbs even struck a pose he thought was cool, showing off.
Seeing this, Tubbs’s Flames flared. "BWAK BWAK! My husband is so handsome!" she clucked, refusing to be outdone. "But I’m even stronger!"
With a flap of her wings, several fist-sized Energy Balls, burning with orange-red Flame, rapidly condensed in front of her. She launched them like a cannon barrage at another small group of zombies!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The Fireballs not only blew the zombies to pieces, but their high-temperature Flame also incinerated the splattering blood and gore. This effectively purified the area to some extent, reducing the risk of the Zombie Virus spreading.
Ruby was more reserved. As a mother bug, she was worried that the insects under her control could get infected by the Zombie Virus, so she stayed by Seraphina’s side instead of joining the zombie hunt.
Instead, she remained vigilant, guarding against any surprises.
An efficient, well-coordinated, and distinctive "Pet Legion" annihilation battle quickly unfolded on the desolate street.
Flora Sullivan was like a battlefield commander. Her Steel Vines served as both deadly weapons and flexible tentacles for movement and support, skillfully weaving her pets’ attacks together.
