Chapter 533: Chapter 533: Realm Anchor Point, Thinking

Seraphina Sullivan stared at the fading figure in the pillar of light, her mind racing.

’No.’

’It can’t end like this.’

She, Sean Chandler, Dexter Luther, and the others.

They had promised to build a Shelter together, to farm together, to drink together, to survive this apocalypse together.

She couldn’t let him be left here alone.

Even if... even if he truly couldn’t go back, she had to find a way to help him.

[Countdown: 5, 4, 3...]

Seraphina Sullivan suddenly pulled the Three Realms Compass from her clothes.

It had two Abilities. One was to locate teammates, and the other—

was something far more powerful.

Her fingers flew across the Compass as Energy surged into it.

[Realm Anchor Point]!

’Activate!’

This Ability could be used in any location.

Including dungeon worlds and special Spaces.

It set a permanent spatial coordinate.

Once set, she could use the Three Realms Compass to ignore the normal spatial distance and most barriers, allowing her to arrive directly at any established anchor point.

The duration of each stay was only an hour, but that was enough.

Enough for her to see Sean Chandler again.

Enough for her to find out what had really happened.

Enough for her to figure out a way... to bring him back.

A golden light flared from the Compass, coalescing in the air to form an arcane rune.

The rune spun in the air a few times before plunging into the ground beneath her feet and disappearing.

[DING! Realm Anchor Point set successfully!]

[Coordinates: Demonic Apocalypse Dungeon]

[You may teleport here at any time via the Three Realms Compass. Duration of stay: 1 hour.]

The return countdown continued.

[Countdown: 2, 1—]

[Trial complete. All Players will now return!]

Seraphina Sullivan took one last look at the blurred figure in the pillar of light. Her lips moved, silently forming a single phrase:

"Wait for me."

The next second, white light engulfed her vision.

Everyone vanished from where they stood.

Leaning on the Demon God’s Pillar, Rosa stood at the edge of the empty blood pool, watching the spot where the Players had disappeared.

The world around her was rapidly returning to life.

The bloody mist in the sky had completely dissipated, and warm, bright sunlight spilled down.

The land, which had been corrupted by Demonization for countless years, was finally beginning to regenerate.

She had won.

This world was saved.

But in her heart, she felt no joy.

She had used those people.

Especially that young man, Sean Chandler.

From the very beginning, she knew the Demon God’s Pillar would choose him.

Because his Talent, his constitution, everything about him was so similar to Rod.

She had deliberately given him the Divine Artifact, deliberately guided them to kill the Ancestral Witch, and deliberately allowed everything to unfold along the path her brother had planned before his death.

She had succeeded.

But she had also hurt those who trusted her.

Especially the group that had helped them.

Rosa closed her eyes. The final look Seraphina Sullivan had given her flashed in her mind—it wasn’t anger, nor was it resentment, but a deep... complexity.

That look made her heart ache.

"I’m sorry..." she murmured, her voice hoarse and weary. "But for the sake of this world, I was willing to do it."

She opened her eyes and looked toward where the pillar of light had vanished.

Sean Chandler had already completed his fusion with the Divine Status. He was now sleeping in that void, awaiting his awakening.

When he woke up, he would become this world’s new Guardian God, taking Rod’s place to protect this land for eternity.

As for whether he would hate her, or whether he would want to go back...

Rosa didn’t know.

But she was already prepared.

"Even if that young man discovers he can’t go back and wants to kill me..."

she said softly, a smile of relief appearing on her aged face.

"I would die with no regrets."

***

The white light faded, and the familiar Shelter came into view.

Black soil, towering Redwood Trees, a Four Seasons Deer strolling leisurely in the distance, and the Aura of grass and earth filling the air.

Nothing had changed. It was exactly as they had left it.

But Seraphina Sullivan knew that one person was missing.

Dexter Luther was the first to come to his senses. His eyes swept around, then swept around again. The excitement on his face slowly faded, replaced by disbelief.

"Chandler... Chandler didn’t come back!"

His voice echoed through the empty Shelter, but no one answered.

Matthew Dawson leaned against the trunk of a Redwood Tree, clenching his fists so hard his knuckles turned white. "What do we do? Is Sean Chandler really trapped in that dungeon forever?"

Paul Payne squatted on the ground, his head in his hands. His voice was muffled. "They say he became a God, but he can never come home... That’s so tragic."

Crystal Lynn said nothing, simply watching Seraphina Sullivan, waiting for her to speak.

Seraphina Sullivan stood there, silent for a long time.

Her gaze fell on the Shelter’s entrance in the distance, as if she were waiting for a tall figure to push open the door and mumble, "I’m back."

But the door remained motionless.

"Seraphina," Crystal Lynn finally couldn’t help but ask, "aren’t you worried?"

Seraphina Sullivan shook her head.

"Worrying is useless." Her voice was calm, yet it carried a heavy strength.

"We have to think carefully about how to bring Sean Chandler back."

Dexter Luther’s head shot up. "Bring him back? Sullivan, you have a way?"

Seraphina Sullivan took out the Three Realms Compass and held it in her palm.

On the Compass, a small golden dot of light was faintly blinking—the Realm Anchor Point she had set before leaving.

"The Three Realms Compass’s second Ability—Realm Anchor Point," she explained. "It can set a permanent spatial coordinate in any location, and then I can use the Compass to teleport there directly. Each stay lasts for one hour."

Dexter Luther’s eyes lit up instantly. "That’s great! Sullivan, can’t you just teleport over and bring Chandler back?"

Seraphina Sullivan shook her head.

"It’s not that simple."

She put away the Compass, her gaze sweeping over everyone present. "What condition is Sean Chandler in right now?"

"Is he conscious or unconscious?"

"Now that he’s obtained the Demon God’s Divine Position, can he even leave that world?"

"If he could leave, why didn’t he come back on his own?"

The barrage of questions silenced everyone.

Seraphina Sullivan continued, "I need time to prepare, and I need time to think."

"For now, Sean Chandler should be safe—he’s become a God, so no one in that world can threaten him. But if we act rashly, not only will we fail to save him, we might get ourselves trapped as well."

She looked at her teammates, her tone softening slightly. "You all just got back. Go get organized and rest well. I’ll let you know when I’ve made a decision."

Dexter Luther opened his mouth as if to say something, but in the end, he just nodded.

Crystal Lynn took Seraphina’s hand and squeezed it gently. "Seraphina, you have to find a way to bring him back."

Seraphina looked at her and nodded.

After the others dispersed, Seraphina Sullivan walked alone to a Redwood Tree, sat down with her back against the trunk, closed her eyes, and began to take stock of what she had gained from the dungeon.
