"Boss! I got you!" Doyle yelled towards Jack as he hopped into the fray, intercepting an attack from a defiled sneaking up on Jack from behind, his frame igniting with a bright orange glow.

Theoretically the strongest here, relative to their stats, was none other than Doyle and a few of his division colleagues from the unit that faced Ash the dragon prodigy.

And this was because during their tragedy of almost dying, Seth had sacrificed his vital essence to bring them back to full health, and that act had boosted their bronze cell activity by a large margin, the cells having divided to a massive level.

And with humanity’s racial upgrade, their ceiling had been elevated to the limit, now standing at the pinnacle of the bronze state, their abilities were notably a grade above the rest.

Competing with Jack, a member of team apex, in pure combat ability was really an enlightening sight. Jack was clearly above them in grade, yet despite having stronger stats than these guys, they were almost as strong as him.

Jack could clearly feel the danger their attacks provoked; he narrowed his eyes, "These guys have to be from Seth’s division, then..."

After all, only by associating them with Seth could this make sense, and if he recalled correctly, Seth had helped boost his soldiers’ state to bronze before they engaged in war.

Meaning after the mass racial upgrade, these guys should have been pushed to a higher state, and though Jack couldn’t say if they had gone above the bronze state, he was sure they would still have a higher starting point than those who hadn’t stepped onto the bronze plane before the reward.

He sighed; he couldn’t help it. He had tried advancing on his own, but it wasn’t that easy, and his pride wouldn’t allow him to rely on Seth when it came to something like this...

But now, since he was already on the bronze level, stepping beyond shouldn’t be that hard now that he understood the core he was missing to advance.

Having this thought in mind, Jack’s body flickered bright as glyphs of crimson hues flared up across his skin, glowing pure red as he instantly activated his Juggernaut class.

This was his Titan-Slaying Juggernaut, a Unique-grade class that came with skills complementing his gene skills to a scary level.

His skin tone darkened to an inky black shade, billowing masses of abyssal mist wafting off his frame; around him, a spectral form of a titan manifested, faint but echoing with disastrous powers by the second.

Right now Jack activated the class skill, Titan Manifestation, a class skill that was meant to allow the user to manifest a spectral titan avatar, granting one the full might of a titan.

But when Jack activated his, he activated his gene skill Nephilim Manifestation, allowing him to draw in both streams of power to the extreme limits, now manifesting a construct that would bring fear to the hearts of even those at the peak of the awakened grade.

Around him, the void trembled as a hulking silhouette condensed over his frame, Jack’s body dissolving into the titan avatar.

Eyes red, Jack felt engulfed with absolute power, as if he could crush mountains to dust with only a gentle squeeze.

The frame glowed with a mix of both black and sanguine, his eyes like a pair of blazing, massive lamps in the dark, matching the height of the gigantic trees casting a thick canopy over the forest.

The four-eyed monkeys around him, clearly defiled given their large sizes, felt the threat wafting off the newcomer standing so high.

The monkeys’ teeth bared, disengaging from the soldiers around, and throwing full focus on the hulking colossus standing in the distance.

Their frames blending into the scenery, activating their stealth abilities to the fullest, the monsters retreated slightly, as they observed Jack’s form.

And before either of them could make a move, a massive fist the size of a fucking train plowed through the air, displacing both wind and light in its wake, as it rammed through the terrain, crushing a member of the five defiled into a bloody pile.

The monkeys had a limited amount of intelligence; if not, they would have realized this foe before them was unlike anything they had faced before. Jack’s current reach in battle was so absurd that simply turning invisible wouldn’t matter as long as you were within range.

And just like that, a defiled was dead...

Jack had always been overbearing. It was just that he could never tap into his full potential because of the limits of what his body could manifest.

But fortunately, he now had an appropriate means to evade this restriction — Jack was manifesting the true might of a titan, though his frame was condensed to be smaller than even great dragons.

He carried a physical might twice that of the titan-class beasts; Jack’s frame slowly twisted, the plain quaking in accordance with his movements.

Around him, the division soldiers burst into a quick retreat; they were lucky enough not to be in the way of the first punch, but the same couldn’t be said for the next.

Doyle and his colleagues dragged those they could as they sped past, at a pace that left others trailing in the dust.

Jack wasn’t a fool; he could see that if he wasn’t careful, he could cause damage to his allies, hence why he intentionally aimed his punches at angles that would be less lethal to those around.

Despite his size, Jack still held scarily fast reflexes and reaction speed, meaning his punch traveled so fast it created literal quakes as it tore through the sound barrier, smashing down on the invisible defiled, the monkey letting out a defiant roar that settled into silence, crushed under Jack’s avatar’s fist.

The other three defiled felt hesitation for the first time since their births; there was absolutely nothing they could do to this monster, they weren’t bred to combat such massive threats.

They had never faced anything this big, so they didn’t know how to even deal damage or where to begin.

They were beasts who relied heavily on instinct, guided by their hunger to corrupt; they couldn’t process complex thoughts, so when they were faced with something so unfamiliar, the only thing their instincts guided them to do was to flee.

And that was exactly what they did, moving at such speeds that the beasts couldn’t maintain their stealth steadily for long, their frames flickering back into visibility.

Jack’s eyes went cold at the sight, taking a single step forward, leaving crater-deep footprints and even crushing trees that obstructed his way, his frame so large and his pace unmovable.

And in a single bound he swallowed so much distance that he caught up to one of his prey, his arm whipping out at a breathtaking speed, tearing through friction and plowing down on the poor defiled, crushing it.

Victory texts flashed in his eyes...

[Congratulations! Your proficiency has increased class skill: Titan Manifestation (Lvl %)]

Jack raised his frame, hunched, as his head turned towards another squealing monkey dashing into the distance.

And his frame swerved, bursting into a quick blur as he dashed forward... and the soldiers watched from afar in awe.
