Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 176: Victor entered the scene
The cosmic void between the planetary defense network and the ice flame faction war fleet instantly detonated into an apocalyptic theater of blood and searing energy.
Thousands of armored soldiers poured out from the transport hulls, their boots igniting with spatial propulsion arrays as they charged into open space. Beams of superheated crimson fire collided with dense sheets of absolute zero frost, shattering the fabric of the immediate sector into glittering, deadly shards of localized realm collapses.
At the front line of the collision, the uppet level soldiers fought with world shaking ferocity. An ice flame squad commander swung a massive runic halberd, unleashing a tidal wave of blue glacial flame that instantly froze three light flame vanguard soldiers into fragile ice statues before a follow up shockwave pulverized them into cosmic dust.
In response, a squad of golden armored light flame warriors converged, their body refined solar weapons piercing through the commander’s spatial armor and burning his inner energy core to ashes in a fraction of a second.
The void was littered with the remnants of destroyed starships and the severed limbs of powerful cultivators, their spilled bloodline energy igniting into short lived mini stars that briefly illuminated the dark battlefield.
Above the swarming ranks of ordinary soldiers, two terrifying auric domains expanded, forcefully clearing a vacant sphere of absolute destruction several light seconds wide.
The light flame faction leader, Trevor, stepped out into the open void. His armor was forged from pure solar gold, radiating a blinding light that warped the surrounding gravitational fields. In his right hand, he casually swung a triple chained flail that crackled with volatile plasma energy.
"You are as predictable as ever, Iliana," Trevor sneered, his voice carried across the void through powerful spiritual resonance. "Deploying your entire third realm vanguard for a single young lady whose bloodline hasn’t even fully matured. Your ice flame branch always lets emotion cloud your tactical judgment."
Iliana did not waste her breath on useless banter. Her icy eyes flashed with lethal intent as the peak universal rank energy inside her inner world erupted like an overflowing cosmic volcano. The massive longsword in her hands vibrated, generating an absolute cold field that turned the vacuum around her into solid spatial ice.
"Die, traitor!" Iliana roared, her body vanishing from her original position.
She reappeared directly above Trevor’s head, bringing her longsword down in a devastating vertical arc. The stroke generated a sharp crescent of frozen thermal energy that split space itself wide open, leaving a pitch black spatial scar that stretched directly toward Trevor.
Trevor spat a glob of golden bloodline fire onto his weapon and lashed his flail upward. The central plasma head of the flail expanded into a roaring sun motif, slamming directly into Iliana’s freezing sword strike.
The resulting detonation sent shockwaves rippling across the entire sector, instantly disintegrating dozens of nearby starships and blowing away hundreds of low tier world rank soldiers on both sides like dry leaves in a storm.
Iliana pressed her advantage immediately. Her long silver hair billowed in the solar wind as she executed a flurry of lightning fast thrusts. Every strike of her blade materialized massive, ice crested phoenix avatars that dove toward Trevor from all directions, tearing through his golden solar shields and leaving deep, freezing gashes across his heavy golden armor. Trevor gritted his teeth, forced onto the defensive as Iliana’s relentless offensive gradually drove him back toward his own defense network.
Under her fierce command, the ice flame soldiers pushed forward with renewed vigor. Their war formations began to slice through the light flame frontlines, systematically demolishing the forward shield pylons of the planetary defense stations. The battle was rapidly tipping in favor of the ice flame fleet.
"Focus all heavy artillery on their central array!" Iliana commanded through her realm communication network, her blade parrying Trevor’s desperate flail strike and leaving a bloody gash across his chest. "We break their line now!"
Trevor stumbled backward, his golden armor cracked and frosted over, but instead of showing panic, a twisted, sinister smile stretched across his bloody face.
"Hahaha! Oh, my sweet Iliana, I am sad that you fought so hard for nothing," Trevor laughed out loudly, coughing up golden sparks of blood. "Brother Tyson, they are all yours. You can take them!"
Before the ice flame officers could process his words, the space surrounding the entire battlefield violently buckled. The gravitational constants of the sector collapsed entirely as massive, primitive runic anchors tore through the spatial veil.
From the void, dozens of gargantuan cosmic vessels materialized, each one constructed from the dense, hollowed out remains of dead planetoids. Out of these terrifying war platforms stepped thousands of towering behemoths, their stone like skin etched with glowing cosmic runes.
It was the ancient titan race. Their massive bodies ranged from hundreds to thousands of meters tall, radiating an overwhelming bloodthirst that suffocated the entire star sector.
"Call the elders! We have been set up!" Iliana roared, her face turning pale as she felt the overwhelming oppressive pressure descending upon her troops. She slammed her hand against her spatial communication token, attempting to signal the main ancestral realm of her faction.
"Hahahaha! Try and see if you can actually do that," the titan race leader, Tyson, laughed coldly. He was a mountain sized monster with six massive arms, his body radiating the suffocating pressure of a universal emperor.
A dense, spatial locking barrier activated instantly, completely severing all outgoing sub spatial communications across the sector. Surrounding the perimeter of the trapped ice flame fleet were five distinct titan figures whose massive presences distorted the cosmic light. Five universal emperors of the titan race had personally stepped onto the field.
The titans loved to consume phoenixes, using the eternal flame residing within their bloodlines to temper their own already formidable physiques. The entire trap was designed to annihilate the vanguard of the ice flame faction and feed their bloodline essence to the titan war machine.
The titan warriors moved with brutal efficiency. One massive six armed titan reached out, casually grabbing three ice flame world level soldiers out of midair. Ignoring their frantic energy attacks, the titan squeezed them until their armor cracked, tossing their screaming bodies directly into his cavernous mouth like simple snacks.
"Defensive formation! Hold the line at all costs!" Iliana screamed, retreating back toward her surviving flagship while trying to fend off Trevor’s renewed, smug attacks.
Floating quietly near the edge of the chaotic slaughter, Victor observed the dire turn of events. His eyes calmly swept over the colossal forms of the titans and the utter panic sweeping through the ice flame army.
"Looks like they were set up. These titan race members seem to have come prepared," Victor said.
"Yes, master," Astrion nodded, his two tiny heads scanning the overwhelming aura of the five titan emperors.
"Why are the universal emperors and supremes not getting involved from the ice flame faction?" Victor muttered softly, watching several ice flame warships get torn apart by raw, physical titan force.
"Well, master, I guess the woman they call young lady is probably not that important to make the universal emperors or even supremes move. They are, after all, from just one single planet. Each faction has several star systems under their name," Astrion analyzed.
"Hmm, makes sense," Victor murmured. A slow, dangerous smile crept onto his face as his violet eyes locked onto the towering form of a nearby titan who was currently swatting through an ice flame escort ship. "Merge with me. I want to have some fun with the titans. They look fun to play."
"As you wish, master," Astrion replied enthusiastically.
The small creature dissolved into a brilliant aura of crimson and silver spatial light, flowing directly into Victor’s body.
An incredible, boundless surge of stable, immortal tier energy flooded Victor’s meridians. His hair turned a brilliant silver, and a majestic spatial shroud expanded invisibly around him, completely masking his presence while providing him with absolute control over the surrounding cosmic space. He raised his palm, feeling the terrifying, flawless power of an immortal entity surging through his fingers without any risk of backfiring.
Ahead of him, a massive world level titan was raising a gigantic club to crush a small squad of wounded ice flame soldiers. The soldiers closed their eyes in despair, waiting for the inevitable impact.
Victor stepped forward. In less than a microsecond, he traversed several miles of open void, appearing casually right above the titan’s massive head.
"Let us see how tough your ancient physique really is," Victor whispered softly to himself.
He flicked his finger downward. A concentrated, razor thin thread of immortal spatial force sliced silently through the vacuum of space.
The gigantic titan did not even have time to react. The massive club, along with his entire thousand meter tall body, was cleanly bisected from head to toe. A split second later, the two halves of the massive titan exploded into a harmless mist of spatial dust, completely erasing his existence before the blood could even spill.
