Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5494: Immensity!

Chapter 5494: Immensity!

Noah felt the trembling through every realm of his Pantheon.

From the Serpent’s bleeding jaws, a response came at last.

"Haha... hahahaha!" Ormarr’s laughter rolled across the battlefield as his body straightened despite the wounds, prismatic blood still flowing freely from dozens of shattered scales.

"I called you the weakest ones. What a thing to be wrong about! You... a fused existence that throws miniature dimensions like stones." His crimson eyes burned brighter as his own Pantheon’s coils began to tighten and multiply behind him, the hoard deepening, more bindings manifesting from its depths!

"I may just have to bring forth more power here. I may have to recall parts of myself from the others, or open the deeper coils of my Hoard. You are making me work, little thing, and I do not enjoy working!"

Noah remained undaunted on his throne.

His layered cerulean-crimson eyes gazed through the dimensional edge at the recovering Serpent as he calculated what his Sight was telling him. The divided body was healing. The Ananke Intent was reasserting. And Ormarr was talking about pulling more of himself back from the fragments fighting Ryaenara and THE Creature, which meant the window of relative weakness was closing!

He looked down at Emotive on his lap.

She had been watching the whole battle with wide manic eyes as her amaranthine light flickered in rhythm with every detonation, and the look on her face was somewhere between awe and a child watching fireworks. She met his gaze and understood immediately what he was asking.

"Join in," Noah said simply.

...!

Emotive’s eyes changed!

The mania did not leave, it never left, but something beneath it locked into place with a seriousness that transformed her entire bearing as she rose from his lap and floated upward, her slender form beginning to radiate waves of amaranthine light that pulsed outward like a second heartbeat!

THE Egoic Intent of THE Felt Eternity erupted from her.

It was not a combat Intent. It did not strike, it did not cut, it did not bind. It did something far worse! It reached across the battlefield and touched the emotional foundation of every existence in its range, and for Ormarr Grimtunge, whose Ananke Intent ran on the absolute certainty that his outcomes were inevitable...THE Felt Eternity introduced doubt.

Not as a thought! As a feeling!

The Serpent’s crimson eyes widened as an unfamiliar sensation flooded through his coils, his certainty wavering not because logic challenged it but because something had reached into the place where certainty lived and made it feel less! His Ananke Intent stuttered! THE Hoard of the World-Coil flickered as its architecture lost coherence for a single critical instant, the bindings within loosening as if the Hoard itself had momentarily forgotten why it was holding on!

It lasted only a heartbeat.

But a heartbeat was enough for Noah.

"Ruination," he spoke from his throne, his voice calm as the Serpent’s defenses flickered. "Spend 150,000 Osmontian Biomass. Elevate THE Egoic Intent of THE Quintessential Osmontian."

Done.

WAA!

The cost burned through him like a river of fire as 150,000 Osmontian Biomass vanished in a single breath, and his Egoic Intent surged upward to D-Rank Ruis. But he was not at his base state! He was fused as THE Quintessential Confluence where all grades functioned one rank above their true level, which meant his Intent did not settle at D-Rank.

It erupted at C-Rank!

And C-Rank...was the threshold.

Master. Your Egoic Intent, elevated within the Confluence, now functions at C-Rank, Straif. At this grade, expressed through this fusion, your Intent has crossed a threshold. You are emanating the grandeur of Ananke.

...!

His Egoic Intent, THE Quintessential Osmontian, was not an Ananke Intent by nature. It was an Egoic Intent, first-order.

But at C-Rank Straif within the fusion of three True Lifeforms, operating one rank above, its sheer weight and Trueness had climbed high enough to radiate at the same tier as second-order inevitability.

He was not inevitability! He was identity, so dense and True that it functioned with the same immovable authority.

Cerulean flames exploded from Noah’s seated figure!

They were not ordinary flames of Osmontian Source Infinity. These were Intent made visible, identity burning at the grade of Ananke, and they rose from his throne in towering pillars as Emotive’s amaranthine disruption still held the Serpent’s certainty in its grip! The flames surged upward and poured into the hundreds of Miniature Osmontian Dimensional Observable Existences already condensed across the golden skies, each one drinking the cerulean fire and swelling with an authority that had not been there moments ago.

"Now," Noah said from his throne.

HUUM!

The bombardment came!

Not ten, not twenty, but hundreds of Miniature Osmontian Dimensional Observable Existences descended upon Ormarr Grimtunge at once as each one now burned with cerulean flames carrying the grandeur of Ananke! They struck his coils and his scales and his manifested Pantheon from every conceivable angle as detonation after detonation after detonation ripped across the battlefield in a cascade of blue-gold annihilation.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The destruction was absolute.

Ormarr’s scales shattered in sheets as his prismatic blood rained down across the moss-covered flatlands in rivers! His Ananke Intent, already stuttering from Emotive’s disruption, could not reassert itself against an opposing authority radiating at the same order as the miniature realms pressed and wrapped around his body, tightening, constricting the constrictor, dozens of burning Observable Existences folding over his coils like a net woven from dying dimensions.

THE Hoard of the World-Coil buckled!

The Serpent’s Pantheon cracked along its deepest architecture as the bindings within snapped one after another, collected beings tumbling free inside its collapsing structure as the hoard that had held hundreds across ages began to come apart! THE Pinion Vigil’s gaze poured in through every crack, Sanity Flaying flooding the fractured Pantheon’s interior, and THE Estuary drank and drank and drank at the weavings bleeding out of the dying dimension.

The Serpent’s body was wrapped in a cocoon of burning miniature Observable Existences, constricted by the very technique of constriction turned against him as his crimson eyes blazed through the devastation!

And even now, even at the end, the Serpent managed to look directly at Noah through the inferno!

"Just you wait," Ormarr Grimtunge said, his voice carrying through the destruction with a calm that promised a future far worse than this present. "Just you wait, little thing. This was a fraction of me. A sliver! The whole of me will remember your face and your flames and your little throne of sand, and when I find you again in this Dimension with my full body... I will coil around everything you love and I will not let go!"

His crimson eyes held Noah’s layered gaze for one more instant.

Then the cerulean flames ate through the last of his divided body, and the fractured Pantheon collapsed inward, and the coils turned to ash and prismatic dust that scattered across the raging storm above!

WAA!

The divided body of Ormarr Grimtunge was destroyed.

And through it all, Noah had not lifted a single muscle from his throne of golden sand.

He sat there as the dust of a True Lifeform’s fractured body rained down through the storming sky, Emotive floating back down to settle against him with shining manic eyes, his cerulean flames still burning across his frame with the heavy Intent of a being who had just operated at the grandeur of Ananke! His crimson-gold hair drifted in dimensional winds as his layered eyes gazed through the settling destruction with the calm of an Emperor who had passed judgment and watched it carried out.

His body burned vibrantly with a heavy Intent!

And through that heavy burning, the prompts came.

THE Tide That Owes Nothing has been triggered. You have destroyed the divided body of a True Lifeform through the acts of your bonded existences, without lifting a hand, granting your companions the adversity of battle and the triumph of victory as a gift of your own architecture. The Tide recognizes the giving.

Boons delivered. +180,000 Osmontian Biomass, recovered in part from the expenditure of the elevation. And two further returns, shaped by what THE Estuary drank during the destruction.

First: geographic records bled from Ormarr’s collapsing Pantheon. I now hold a partial map of the surrounding territory within THE Krazhor-Nul, extending approximately three hundred leagues from our current position.

Second: sparse knowledge of Ormarr Grimtunge himself, extracted from the records his divided body held. He serves one called Jarl Erling, who commands a court of True Lifeforms somewhere within this Dimension. He was dispatched to this nest specifically because it is a known entry point for pulled-in lifeforms. He has performed this collection many times. His full body is still out there, and the parts fighting THE Creature and Ryaenara will have felt this one die.

...!

Noah sat on his throne of golden sand as the storm of Infinity and Primordial Source raged on beyond the edges of his living Pantheon, his layered eyes burning cerulean and crimson.

The True Human Emperor had won his first battle in THE Krazhor-Nul without rising from his seat.
