Infinite Rebate: I Get Richer Every Time I Spend

Chapter 110: Did the School Beauty Sleep with Me?

Chapter 110: Did the School Beauty Sleep with Me?

Maya sat quietly beside Lucas, occasionally glancing at him while pretending to focus on her food.

Ever since their conversation in the wine cellar last night, she had started looking at him differently.

A young man with no powerful family background who could own a villa worth over a hundred million, drive a Bugatti, and casually spend millions without hesitation.

No matter how she thought about it, it was unbelievable.

More importantly, Lucas had claimed that he made his money through investments.

Maya had always dreamed of becoming a successful businesswoman.

Ever since she was a child, she had admired entrepreneurs who built something from nothing.

Naturally, she was extremely interested in how Lucas had managed to achieve so much at such a young age.

What investment channels did he use?

How did he identify opportunities?

How did he accumulate his initial capital?

Questions filled her mind.

Unfortunately, she could not ask those questions directly.

It would be too abrupt.

Too obvious.

So, Maya decided on a different approach.

She would get closer to Lucas first.

The better their relationship became, the easier it would be to understand him.

To Maya, sitting beside Lucas was simply the first step.

However, Max, Ben, and Luke saw the situation very differently.

Just moments ago, Maya had admitted that she did not have many friends.

Yet now she had chosen to sit next to Lucas.

What did that mean?

Did Lucas already count as one of her close friends?

How important was he in the school beauty’s heart?

The three roommates exchanged shocked glances.

No matter how hard they tried to understand it, they simply could not figure out how Lucas kept attracting beautiful women so effortlessly.

First Sofia.

Then Bennett.

Now even Maya.

Meanwhile, not far away, Sofia and Cardi walked into the cafeteria together.

The moment Sofia stepped inside, her eyes instinctively searched for Lucas.

She found him almost immediately.

And sitting right beside him was Maya.

Sofia stopped in her tracks.

Her brows furrowed slightly.

"Why are they eating together?"

"Weren’t they only introduced yesterday?"

"They’re already this close?"

A trace of uneasiness flashed across her face.

At Sofia’s birthday party, Maya and Lucas had barely interacted.

At least, that was what Sofia believed.

So how had things changed so quickly overnight?

Standing beside her, Cardi noticed the look on Sofia’s face.

She hesitated for a moment before gently pulling Sofia aside.

"Sofia..."

"There is something I need to tell you."

Her expression suddenly became serious.

Cardi hesitated several times before finally making up her mind.

No matter how awkward it felt, she believed Sofia deserved to know what she had seen that morning.

After all, Sofia was her best friend.

Whether emotionally or logically, keeping it a secret did not feel right.

Of course, Cardi knew gossiping behind someone’s back was never a good thing.

And to be fair, she had no real evidence.

She had not seen anything happen.

But everyone was an adult.

A man and a woman waking up in the same room after a night of heavy drinking...

Most people would naturally draw their own conclusions.

Taking a deep breath, Cardi leaned closer and quietly explained what she had seen.

The more Sofia listened, the wider her eyes became.

"What?"

"Are you serious?"

Shock flashed across Sofia’s face.

She never expected something like this to happen after everyone got drunk at her birthday party.

Her heart suddenly tightened.

She had wanted to use the party to get closer to Lucas.

She had carefully planned everything.

Yet somehow, Maya had ended up sharing a room with him instead.

The thought left a bitter taste in her mouth.

Especially because Maya was supposed to be getting engaged soon.

Why was she still getting so close to Lucas?

The more Sofia thought about it, the more upset she became.

Deep down, she knew Maya was beautiful, intelligent, and came from a wealthy family.

Compared to her, Sofia suddenly felt painfully ordinary.

That thought alone made her chest ache.

Had Lucas really spent the night with Maya?

Meanwhile, Sofia kept her own secret buried deep inside.

She had also spent the night with Lucas and had sex with him on the same day. The moment this thought crossed her mind, a strong wave of shyness washed over her.

But she could never bring herself to tell Cardi about it.

Not yet.

Seeing the conflicted look on Sofia’s face, Cardi quickly grabbed her hand.

"Sofia, don’t panic."

"Maybe they really were just drunk."

"They looked completely out of it last night."

"I think you should find a chance to ask Lucas directly."

Sofia paused.

After thinking about it carefully, she realized Cardi had a point.

Everyone had been heavily intoxicated.

Neither Lucas nor Maya looked like they were pretending.

At that level of drunkenness, even if something had crossed their minds, they probably would not have had the energy to do anything.

After all, even she had originally planned to make a move on Lucas, but the alcohol had completely ruined her plans.

There was a good chance that nothing had happened at all.

Thinking of that possibility, Sofia finally relaxed a little.

The anxiety in her chest eased.

"You’re right."

"I should talk to him first."

Cardi nodded in relief.

The two girls grabbed their trays and walked toward the serving line.

Neither of them noticed the figure standing a short distance away.

Zack had overheard everything.

His expression darkened instantly.

Jealousy twisted inside him like poison.

First Sofia.

Now even Maya.

Why did every beautiful girl seem drawn to Lucas?

What exactly did that guy have that he didn’t?

Zack clenched his fists tightly.

His eyes locked onto Lucas across the cafeteria.

A cold look flashed across his face.

"I can’t believe even Maya fell for him..."

His voice was low and bitter.

Meanwhile, completely unaware of the brewing resentment, Lucas finished lunch with Maya and his roommates.

Since there were no afternoon classes, he headed back to the dormitory with Max and the others.

Their plan for the rest of the day was simple.

Sleep.

Play games.

Waste time.

On the other hand, Maya did not have that luxury.

As the Student Union president, she still had recruitment meetings and club coordination work waiting for her.

After saying goodbye to Lucas and the others, she picked up her bag and left the cafeteria.

As she walked away, Lucas watched her for a moment before turning back to his friends.

He had no idea that, without realizing it, he had already become the center of attention for more people than ever before.
