Maya sat quietly beside Lucas, occasionally glancing at him while pretending to focus on her food.
Ever since their conversation in the wine cellar last night, she had started looking at him differently.
A young man with no powerful family background who could own a villa worth over a hundred million, drive a Bugatti, and casually spend millions without hesitation.
No matter how she thought about it, it was unbelievable.
More importantly, Lucas had claimed that he made his money through investments.
Maya had always dreamed of becoming a successful businesswoman.
Ever since she was a child, she had admired entrepreneurs who built something from nothing.

"They looked completely out of it last night."
"I think you should find a chance to ask Lucas directly."
Sofia paused.
After thinking about it carefully, she realized Cardi had a point.
Everyone had been heavily intoxicated.
Neither Lucas nor Maya looked like they were pretending.
At that level of drunkenness, even if something had crossed their minds, they probably would not have had the energy to do anything.
After all, even she had originally planned to make a move on Lucas, but the alcohol had completely ruined her plans.
There was a good chance that nothing had happened at all.
Thinking of that possibility, Sofia finally relaxed a little.
The anxiety in her chest eased.
"You’re right."
"I should talk to him first."
Cardi nodded in relief.
The two girls grabbed their trays and walked toward the serving line.

Zack had overheard everything.
His expression darkened instantly.

After saying goodbye to Lucas and the others, she picked up her bag and left the cafeteria.
