After a ton of reading, Alstein summarized some important points for me regarding the things that we needed to hatch each dragon egg type. I also shared my thoughts on where we should place the nests for them in the future.

For the purple dragons eggs, they seemed to be the hardest to hatch as they need all the attributes. Alstein, being the only purple dragon left in record as of now was already a proof of that. We decided that we will create a nest on top of a specially designed altar buffed up by tons of runes to reach our goals. We will take some inspiration from the design of the core of the world tree realm to put specific spaces for each attribute.

We will place receptacles where we could place stones or pure mana from each of the attributes that will then be supplied abundantly to the purple dragon eggs. The runes will also amplify the strength of the mana and keep the altar and the nest protected well.

The red dragons are always known as the controller of fire. For their eggs, they would definitely need a place of high heat. The volcano area that Laerad created will be the perfect area to build a hatchery for them. I am not sure but maybe they would even be needed to be partially soaked in magma.

On the opposite end of the temperature ranges, blue dragons control water or in rare births, some of them have a second ability to control ice as well. They will need a cold place. ideally, with an abundant water source. The platform right below the high waterfall which was also surrounded by a lake will be the perfect hatchery for them.

Based on the records, the green dragons need the luscious forest filled with the power of nature and the warmth of the ground as the perfect environment to hatch their eggs. I plan to build a hatchery in the heart of the forest. I will dig an underground cave and enhance it with mana stones then place the eggs there.

As for the silver dragons, they control light and wind attributes. They specifically need moonlight and starlight though so I might need to build a special space for them that has eternal night which should be a high place too to get the windy feel. The peak of the highest mountain should fit both of these requirements then.

Black dragons control the dark attribute but just like the blue dragon, in some special births, they have a second ability to control either acid, poison or decay abilities. As for the hatching area based on the books, they would need a damp and dark area to hatch their eggs so a controlled environment inside a deep cave will be perfect. I guess, I am digging another cave then.

Gold dragons are also light dragons like the silver dragons but the difference is that they need the one that comes from the sun. I guess I would need Laerad to create another high mountain with abundant sunshine for this since I have assigned the currently highest peak to the silver dragons earlier during Alstein and I’s nest planning phase.

Surprisingly, during Alstein’s studies, he discovered that there was one more dragon type that seemed to have become extinct during the course of time since the last world tree realm closed. In the draconic records, there was a book that mentioned the existence of bronze dragons several centuries ago.

There is one simple problem though. If we would like to hatch bronze dragons eggs, we would have to find at least one calcified egg from that dragon family and we have no idea if there is even one of them in the cave or somewhere hidden within the human realm. This would certainly pose a challenge to my mission then.

I am not losing hope though. If I was able to revive the extinct high elf mystique race, I will eventually find a way to find even just one bronze dragon egg even if I have to scour this whole planet.

Who would have thought that there would be a type of dragon that is even rarer than the purple dragons? As per the records, their abilities are in the realm of controlling time and erecting indestructible barriers to protect their kind. They are definitely overpowered and deity-like in this regard.

I kind of understand why they became extinct during the changes on this planet. A being with such immense power will definitely wither and die in a place with barely enough mana just to even continue existing.

Since my conversations with Alstein happened towards the end of my immersion and even during the time I was already in the world tree realm, I was able to get the help of Laerad to set up things quickly during my stay. We were at least able to set up the nests in advance though we don’t know exactly when the dragon eggs will arrive. It is better to be prepared though since I do not think Alstein can do all the work on his own once he arrived in the new Vlaelmundr.

After the nests were set up, I was able to give a quick update to Alstein through telepathy but he seems to be too busy to reply. Well, he is indeed the one setting up the whole Vethirak Ritual in their sanctuary so it is expected. He would surely give a response once the high from the ritual and the grand family reunion has died down.

I also got some little surprises prepared for Alstein in Vlaelmundr. I made a library where I placed a physical copy of all the books he carefully copied for me as a temporary Sanctum Arcaniss (draconic knowledge library) for the place. The access to the realm will be formed anyway once a golden dragon is successfully hatched from one of the eggs in the future.

Lastly, I built a cleansing pool in the middle of the new Vlaelmundr. Its primary use was to revitalize calcified eggs so it would be easier to identify which dragon family they are from. Eggs can be mixed up especially when it is an egg between two different dragon families. It is better to be sure on what attribute the egg falls under in based on the its color and mana resonance so I can put it inside the right nest. I am vying for a 100% hatching rate on this mission!
