"Cain!"

"I’m still fine."

Cain forced himself to stand.

Serath looked toward him, but before he could move, Mo Xuanye attacked again.

The Heavenly Demon Annihilation Seal descended from above, carrying an enormous amount of Heavenly Demon Qi.

Serath raised both hands.

The seal struck.

BOOOOOOM!

The surrounding buildings collapsed under the pressure, sending debris across the battlefield.

Ron and Elara recovered enough to attack again.

Ron drank the last available Mana potion, and the depleted Lightning Mana within his body surged back to life.

Elara’s Mana also recovered enough for another attack, allowing the two of them to prepare another coordinated assault.

Ron waited until Mo’s attack forced Serath to defend before moving, and Elara waited for the opening created by Ron.

After fighting around Serath’s movements for so long, both had become accustomed to recognizing the brief moments when his attention shifted.

Ron thrust his spear.

Elara’s attack followed.

Serath blocked Ron’s attack with one arm, but Elara’s slash cut across the previously damaged part of his chest.

Aurelia’s Radiant Swords descended immediately afterward.

Several struck the same damaged areas, forcing Serath’s body backward as the concentrated Light Mana continued widening the cracks across his scales.

Then Nathan’s arrow struck his forehead.

CLANG!

Serath’s head snapped backward, but he was already moving before the shattered arrow could fall.

A new presence entered the battlefield.

Sonya had arrived.

Her aura had changed.

Three enormous Suns appeared behind her, illuminating the ruined central region with intense Solar Fire.

She had completed her advancement, and the power radiating from her body was considerably stronger than before.

Sonya raised both hands with a serious expression.

She had already used most of her Mana during her advancement and the previous battle, but she still had enough remaining for one decisive attack.

The three Suns brightened.

Solar energy gathered across their surfaces, growing denser as the surrounding air began to distort from the rising heat.

Serath looked toward her.

For the first time, his expression changed noticeably.

Cain noticed it.

"Do it."

Sonya released the attack.

The three Suns simultaneously erupted, releasing immense streams of concentrated Solar Fire that shot toward Serath and crossed the battlefield in an instant.

Serath raised both arms.

Black Sun Dragon Flame erupted around his body.

The two energies collided.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

The central battlefield disappeared beneath the explosion as a violent shockwave spread across the surrounding streets.

Cain raised one arm to shield himself from the intense heat, while Aurelia was forced backward by the blast.

Mo Xuanye planted his feet firmly against the ground, and Ron and Elara were pushed away by the force of the explosion.

Even Viktor had to brace himself against the shockwave.

The explosion continued for several seconds before gradually fading.

Serath remained in the center.

His body was barely recognizable.

Large sections of his Dragon scales had been destroyed, his left arm hung uselessly at his side, and one side of his chest had been burned away.

A massive opening had been torn through his abdomen, with blood pouring from the surrounding wounds as his regeneration struggled to keep pace.

The amount of energy required had simply become too great.

Cain’s eyes narrowed.

Serath was still standing.

The Youngest Prince looked down at his own body as if finally acknowledging the extent of the damage.

Dragon Blood Ignition had already consumed a considerable portion of his Blood Essence, his Mana had fallen sharply, and the energy required to continue regenerating was becoming unsustainable.

Another attack might actually kill him.

Cain stepped forward as the others prepared themselves.

Serath looked at them, then he smiled.

"Well done."

His voice was weak, but there was no fear in it.

Cain’s expression changed.

Nether energy suddenly erupted from Serath’s body, and the remaining energy within him began gathering toward his chest.

His Dragon Bloodline, Mana, and Blood Essence started collapsing inward as an enormous concentration of energy formed around his core.

Cain immediately recognized what was happening.

"Back!"

Everyone immediately moved.

Cain retreated as well, though his eyes remained fixed on Serath.

The Youngest Prince’s body had finally reached its limit.

Cain launched one final attack.

A single Purgatory Solar Lance shot forward.

Unlike the earlier lances, this attack was aimed at the heavily compromised center of Serath’s body, where the accumulated bombardment and combined attacks had already destroyed much of his defensive scales.

The lance pierced directly through his chest.

BOOM!

The remaining structure of Serath’s body was destroyed, and his body finally collapsed.

For a moment, the battlefield became strangely quiet.

Cain stood several meters away, breathing heavily as the Primordial Chaos Dragon projection remained behind him, its crimson eyes staring at the remains of the Youngest Prince.

Cain’s eyes narrowed.

He did not dare to relax as he knew what would happen next.

Then the remains of Serath suddenly began glowing with an intense black light.

Cain’s expression became solemn as the enormous quantity of Nether energy surrounding the battlefield rushed toward the corpse.

Blood Essence gathered alongside it, and Mana converged from the surrounding space as the remaining pieces of Serath’s body were pulled together by an invisible force.

His destroyed body began reconstructing.

Bones formed first, followed by muscles and flesh that spread across the newly rebuilt structure.

Damaged organs were reconstructed beneath the newly formed ribs as his Bloodline Origin continued consuming enormous amounts of energy to preserve what remained of his consciousness.

The process was slow enough for everyone to witness, yet none of them dared interrupt it.

Even Cain understood that attacking during the resurrection without knowing exactly how the ability worked could be dangerous.

The black light finally faded.

Serath’s reconstructed body collapsed onto one knee.

His breathing was heavy, and his face had lost much of its previous color.

The Dragon pressure surrounding him had weakened considerably, his Mana was almost completely depleted, and his Blood Essence had been severely consumed.

Even his regeneration, which had previously repaired wounds almost immediately, had become sluggish.

Serath slowly lifted his head, his crimson eyes met Cain’s.

The Youngest Prince had been forced to return from death, and for the first time since arriving in Corridor 73-A, he no longer looked like an opponent who could casually decide the outcome of the battlefield.

Cain tightened his grip around his sword as he knew that the battle was not over yet.
