Investing in My Wife: But She's Already the Strongest!
Chapter 20: Not Only One
The others froze when they saw the purple coin.
Some of them hadn’t even opened the roses they had collected yet, and someone had already found it.
There was only one problem.
They looked toward Miya to see her reaction, and she actually nodded.
"Come here," she said.
Hearing that, Andrea Allen immediately walked toward the altar.
She couldn’t help looking at Enzo, unsure what kind of expression she should make. After all, this young man had been under her supervision since he entered his fourth year.
"I think I know you," Miya said when Andrea arrived.
"I was your junior at the university," Andrea replied.
She was two years younger.
When Andrea entered the university, Miya was already in her third year and was already quite powerful at the time. She graduated that same year.
"I remember now..." Miya nodded. "Take it!"
She tossed the purple rose toward Andrea.
Rather than being thrown normally, it slowly floated into her hands.
Everyone stared at her without blinking.
Someone might be able to obtain an extraordinary treasure, but keeping it was another matter entirely.
Unfortunately, few people knew that Andrea was a senior instructor at the University of City Z Warrior.
She taught the best students in their fourth year.
Being a Level 9 Spiritual Warrior was practically the minimum requirement for the position. The instructors also had to be stronger than the average Level 9 Spiritual Warrior.
Andrea could practically use the purple rose immediately.
"Thank you," she said.
She remained calm and stored the rose inside her ring.
For a moment, she looked at Enzo before leaving.
Enzo could only pretend that the two of them didn’t know each other.
Of course, there was no way Miya didn’t know that Andrea was his instructor. However, all she had confirmed with Andrea was their past relationship. Clearly, she didn’t consider Andrea’s identity as Enzo’s instructor something worth worrying about.
"Sigh, unfortunately, I wasn’t lucky..." Someone who had gathered quite a number of roses shook his head before throwing them aside.
But Miya suddenly brought out something else—a silver sword engraved with a crescent moon that radiated a purple glow.
The light spread throughout the entire hall the moment it appeared.
"A Spiritual Weapon..." Everyone immediately became restless.
A Spiritual Weapon was a weapon that possessed spirituality. In other words, it had power of its own, allowing it to significantly enhance its wielder’s strength when used.
Even a Tier 1 Spiritual Weapon was enough to make a Spiritual Warrior extremely powerful.
Normally, only Giants possessed such weapons, or people with powerful backgrounds.
Otherwise, they could only use ordinary weapons made from sturdy materials.
The sword Bryan had used earlier was also still classified as an ordinary weapon.
"This isn’t over yet. I hid two coins. One hasn’t been found yet. This sword will belong to whoever finds the second coin," Miya announced.
Those who had just thrown away the roses they had collected looked as though they wanted to cry.
The others didn’t waste another second and immediately scrambled for the roses.
Eventually, even all the decorations in the hall were completely destroyed.
Miya smiled at Enzo.
Perhaps, in her eyes, only something this chaotic could be considered entertainment.
"I found it..." someone finally shouted.
It was a fat middle-aged man whose entire body was covered in layers of fat.
Enzo couldn’t help wondering how much the man weighed before realizing that he looked quite similar to Alex Ferguson.
"Lady Stanley, here it is..." The man immediately ran toward the altar while holding up the coin.
"Hmm, Ferguson. I didn’t expect your luck to be this good," Miya said as she tossed the sword toward him.
Ferguson.
The same surname, combined with Alex’s astonished expression, was enough for Enzo to know that his guess had been correct.
"Hahaha, this really is just luck. Thank you, Lady..." the fat middle-aged man said politely with a laugh.
Miya naturally didn’t respond.
She looked at Enzo again and said, "It’s time for us to go home. Come..."
Enzo nodded and walked away with her.
No one dared to leave before them. Everyone quickly moved away from the red carpet, making way for the two of them.
The two young women followed behind.
So did Mr. Joe and Eva.
The party was over. Nothing remained.
Outside, a silver limousine was already waiting for them.
This time, however, it was much longer and taller, large enough to completely block the entrance from the view of the people outside.
Enzo let Miya enter first, though it was a little difficult for her because her wedding gown was too long. The two young women had no choice but to help pull the rest of the dress inside.
The limousine’s rear compartment was completely separated from the front, with an interior space nearly four meters long. Two long sofas faced each other at the front and back.
Once Miya finally sat down, Enzo stepped inside.
The two young women gave him complicated looks.
He nodded at them before entering the car, then pulled the door shut himself and sat down.
Phew!
He unconsciously let out a sigh.
At that moment, the limousine began moving down the road.
And here, Enzo felt a mixture of complicated emotions along with sensations that were difficult to describe.
There was no one else left.
Only him and Miya Stanley, who was now his wife.
"This is only the beginning. Let’s have a drink first," the woman said with a charming smile.
She pulled the wheeled table in front of them closer. On it were two cups of wine, complete with ice.
She picked up one of the cups and handed it to Enzo.
