Although she looked annoyed, Miya still answered the video call.

However, she got off Enzo’s lap.

She even turned toward Enzo so that the front camera of her phone wouldn’t capture him at all.

"Ohh, Miya, are you alone? Where’s your husband?" Isabel asked.

"Don’t bother with the small talk. Why are you calling me?" Miya replied indifferently.

"You’re so impatient. It seems I interrupted you while you were having fun..." Isabel giggled.

Miya didn’t respond or react.

There was no way she would admit to that.

"You really can’t take a joke," Isabel complained.

"Anyway, here’s the thing. I want your husband to become my student."

Enzo: "..."

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Miya asked irritably. "Isabel, do you want to fight me?"

"What’s with your reaction? Is it wrong for me to want him as my student?" Isabel replied casually.

"Unless you’re afraid I’ll steal him from you? Oh, Miya, even though I like handsome men, I wouldn’t steal my best friend’s husband."

"Hmph, does he really need to become your student? I’m stronger, and I can guide him better. I’d be the best at training juniors if I weren’t so lazy."

"Not necessarily, hahaha. And this isn’t your decision. It’ll be Enzo’s decision. I had to call you because I don’t have his contact. Enzo, are you there? If you become my student, I’ll give you a body cultivation inheritance. I think your body is far more extraordinary than you realize, and you might have a chance to cultivate your body separately. If you’re interested, just find my IGG account and send me a message there. Other than me, you won’t be able to obtain this method."

After saying that, Isabel ended the video call herself.

Miya knitted her brows, looking confused.

She placed her phone on the table and said, "Just ignore that woman. She’s got a few screws loose."

"Seems like it..." Enzo nodded in agreement, though he couldn’t help thinking about what Isabel had said.

Only then did he look outside.

To his surprise, they had already reached the outskirts of City Z, traveling along a road lined with vineyards on both sides.

The road led toward a small mountain that appeared lush and green from a distance.

At its peak stood a fairly tall wooden fortress.

Without a doubt, this was Stanley Mountain.

Enzo had never left City Z before, so this was his first time seeing it.

Their convoy drove up the mountain without slowing down. The road was straight and smooth, so there wasn’t the slightest difficulty.

It turned out that the fortress gate was also made of wood. It stood open, pulled apart by two muscular men using a chain.

Beyond it was a small village with around fifteen large wooden houses.

Contrary to what Enzo had imagined, the village wasn’t deserted at all.

There were many men and women, some dressed in suits and others in servant uniforms.

There were also plenty of cats and rabbits wandering around.

Even on the roofs of every house, numerous eagles could be seen resting.

Fish occasionally leaped from several ponds.

"Unless there’s a particular reason, members of the Stanley Family generally don’t come here. I’m the only one who lives here, so you can stay here peacefully," Miya said.

"This is the best environment I’ve ever seen. It’s peaceful and refreshing," Enzo replied.

"It is. But at night, it gets extremely cold here, almost like winter. You’ll only feel warm when you’re inside the house."

After saying that, Miya pointed toward a house whose windows were all tightly shut.

"That’s our library. We keep the books we’ve written as well as any records we’ve obtained from the Three Lands of Legacy. You’re free to enter, but some records are forbidden to you because they contain information that shouldn’t be known unless you’ve reached a certain level. Naturally, you’ll be unable to touch anything that’s forbidden," she added.

Enzo nodded. He didn’t find it strange that some of the information would be restricted.

Not all information was meant to be known.

According to rumors, even Giants didn’t know the most secret information unless they discovered it themselves.

The Three Lands of Legacy.

They were once South America, the vast region between Europe and Asia that had once belonged to the Soviet Union, and Australia.

That was where everything had begun, when the hidden world was revealed.

The people who had managed to survive in those three regions had long since immigrated elsewhere because there were too many Spirit Beasts there.

Even Spiritual Warriors couldn’t enter those regions freely unless they had reached Level 4.

At this moment, their car finally stopped in front of the main house.

The door opened, and the servants stood in a neat line on the porch.

Enzo then saw Mr. Joe appear beside the car door and open it.

Since the door was right beside him, he stepped out first, immediately drawing the attention of the servants.

Miya got out after him. This time, she didn’t have the same difficulty as when she entered the car because her clothes had suddenly changed.

Her wedding dress had transformed into a casual, thin-looking purple dress.

"Much more comfortable now," she said with a giggle.

Enzo merely smiled. He had to admit that the casual dress actually made her look even more alluring.

His eyes swept over the surroundings.

It seemed the two young women from the Stanley Family hadn’t come here with them.

Only Eva had followed them.

"Come on. Let’s have lunch first," Miya said, inviting him into her house.

This was actually Enzo’s first time entering a wooden building.

It felt completely different, and his eyes continued to wander around.

The house was enormous, and even the living room was incredibly spacious.

He immediately spotted the sofa where Miya had sat during their first video call.

He knew because of the large dragon-head statue behind the sofa.

Seeing it in person, he felt as though it were alive, and its mouth seemed almost capable of swallowing him whole.

He followed Miya into the dining room behind the living room. It was open, overlooking the backyard where there was a large, seemingly natural pond.

The entire dining table was already filled with luxurious dishes, their aromas filling the room and instantly making Enzo hungry.

Enzo then realized that no one had followed them inside—not even Mr. Joe.

It was just him and Miya.

The latter pulled him toward a chair, then sat on his lap with her arms wrapped around his neck.
