’Would I get that method if I became Isabel’s student?’ Enzo wondered.

If she could give it to him, why hadn’t Miya received it?

’Maybe the information is wrong,’ he thought.

Perhaps Miya had actually been given the method but simply couldn’t develop it.

She might not want to admit that, so she said she hadn’t been given it.

Of course, for Enzo, obtaining the method didn’t mean he had to become Isabel’s student.

He had the System.

There was no way his System wouldn’t give him something to develop his body after upgrading it to the Supreme level.

He continued reading, wanting to learn more.

However, even though his understanding of cultivation increased, he didn’t feel that he had found any particular way to help his wife with her cultivation.

The weak helping the strong—there was no such thing.

Enzo knitted his brows as he realized that perhaps the only thing he could do was give her something that made her happy.

Unfortunately, getting her happiness level to 99% wasn’t easy.

Enzo thought their first night together would probably be the final thing.

When he thought about it, even getting her happiness level to 50%, like when they fed each other, might be difficult.

After finishing all the information, he remained seated, closed his eyes, and sensed the Spiritual Energy around him.

He could feel it, connected to every trace of Spiritual Energy within the range of his senses. With just his thoughts, he could draw that Spiritual Energy toward his body.

However, getting the Spiritual Energy to enter and merge with his body was quite challenging.

Sometimes it entered his body only to flow back out again without merging.

If he wanted an easier time, he could first empty the Spiritual Energy inside his body. Of course, whatever entered afterward would merely fill the empty space rather than increase the amount his body could contain.

After some time without making any progress, he opened his eyes.

It wasn’t that he was impatient, but there was no point in forcing himself when the conditions weren’t right. Besides, the best position for absorbing Spiritual Energy was sitting on the floor, not in a chair.

He stood up and walked around the library, looking at the other techniques simply to satisfy his curiosity.

There appeared to be more than fifteen Tier 2 Techniques in total, which was certainly an enormous number.

The University of City Z Warrior, in comparison, only had two, and both were Low-Level Tier 2 Techniques.

For a student to obtain one of them was incredibly difficult.

Enzo spent nearly an hour simply walking around the library.

He left after he became bored.

Eva stood expressionlessly beside the door, no different from the guards.

Enzo could only marvel at her patience.

Perhaps that was simply part of the reward for carrying out her duty.

Seeing Mr. Joe picking apples directly from one of the trees, Enzo couldn’t help walking over to him.

Mr. Joe stopped and greeted him.

"Master, it seems you’ve finished at the library. Do you have any plans? Or would you like to absorb Spiritual Energy while trying to comprehend your technique? If so, I recommend doing it in the Family’s Spiritual Pool."

"Where is it?" Enzo asked curiously.

"Over there..." Mr. Joe pointed toward a house whose roof was covered in holes.

"Just go inside. There shouldn’t be anyone there."

"Alright, I’ll give it a try," Enzo said as he walked toward the house with the hole-covered roof.

Eva followed behind him, lowering her head slightly.

This time, Enzo had to open the door himself.

A pool was revealed before his eyes, filled with a milky-white liquid.

The pool was actually enormous, unlike the one at the university that could only accommodate a few people.

It was also unique because it wasn’t made of any other material at all. It was constructed entirely from tightly fitted wood.

"You stay outside!" Enzo ordered Eva first.

She nodded obediently.

Enzo stepped into the pool.

He wanted to know what it felt like to cultivate in a Spiritual Pool.

Previously, he hadn’t even been able to sense or connect with Spiritual Energy, so he truly had no idea what the actual advantage of a Spiritual Pool was.

The pool was naturally shallow, and entering it didn’t make his clothes wet, so he had no complaints despite wearing new clothes.

He sat down calmly and closed his eyes.

He was immediately astonished when he sensed an enormous amount of Spiritual Energy.

Even more amazingly, he didn’t need to actively absorb it. The Spiritual Energy itself seemed to be trying to enter his body.

In truth, all he needed to do was focus on himself, and the Spiritual Energy could truly enter his body.

For Level 1 to Level 3 Spiritual Warriors, it was enough to adjust their bodies so they could merge with the Spiritual Energy they absorbed.

Of course, because he possessed a technique, he could also try to comprehend it.

Once he reached a certain level of understanding, his body would practically understand how to accommodate more Spiritual Energy.

However, comprehending a technique was much more difficult.

If one’s talent wasn’t sufficient, this wasn’t a recommended method because an insufficiently strong mind could result in absolutely no progress, making it nothing more than a waste of time.

However, if a Technique Source accepted someone, it meant their talent was already sufficient, even if they were only at Level 1.

Although he hadn’t actually read the insights of others regarding the Three Heaven Flame Technique yet, Enzo first tried to comprehend it himself after sitting down and closing his eyes inside the pool.

It certainly seemed difficult, but if he remained focused and patient, he could gradually gain enlightenment.

This was merely an experiment. He wasn’t expecting any results.

All he wanted was to learn something.

But only a few minutes after he began focusing, he felt that he had already found a path toward understanding the technique.

He became more serious, realizing that he was very close to gaining his first bit of comprehension.

Fire.

The key to possessing fire was having a heart that desired to burn.

And that was something he already possessed.

He became completely immersed in his comprehension for nearly two hours before opening his eyes.

For a brief moment, faint flames flickered from his eyes.

(Three Heaven Flame Technique: Tier 2)

- First Stage: (Golden Heaven Flame: 0.1%)

- Second Stage: (White Heaven Flame: 0%)

- Third Stage: (Dark Heaven Flame: 0%)

When he checked his System data, he discovered a change—a decimal point and an additional digit had appeared.

It was an incredibly small increase, but it was precisely the kind of sign he had been hoping for.

’I knew fire would suit me,’ Enzo thought.

That was why he had chosen it from the beginning.

He personally liked it.

Without that, everything would have been much more difficult.
