Chapter 33: Meet

That morning, when Enzo entered the residential complex, he saw many luxury cars leaving, with their owners seemingly heading to work.

He even saw Alex’s car passing by. The man probably still hadn’t realized that they were neighbors.

Not long after, Enzo furrowed his brows.

He saw a woman with straight, bright blonde hair and incredibly pale skin.

Alice Howard.

The woman was wearing nothing but shorts and a tank top as she swept the yard of her villa.

Eva couldn’t hide her surprise when she saw the woman either.

Her eyes unconsciously remained fixed on her.

Even as a beautiful woman herself, she seemed captivated by Alice’s appearance, which truly resembled a Barbie doll.

Of course, it was surprising that she was actually sweeping the yard.

If this were recorded and uploaded online, it could cause quite a stir among young American men.

No man would be able to resist watching it.

Alice stopped sweeping when she noticed the approaching car and looked at it curiously.

Her clear blue eyes were filled with interest.

At least in her TV series, she appeared genuinely innocent, but the real her was clearly different.

Enzo might often ignore women, but seeing this woman up close, he found himself blinking less as his eyes unconsciously lingered on her long, clearly visible thighs.

He could even see the faint veins beneath her skin.

Eva didn’t make any mistakes while driving even though her eyes were fixed on Alice.

She turned the car smoothly into the yard of Enzo’s villa, whose gate opened automatically.

The arrival of the car prompted his father and mother to come outside, followed by his younger brother.

Of course, they didn’t seem certain who had arrived until Enzo lowered the window and smiled at them.

"Enzo..." Lisa immediately ran over with a touched expression.

Enzo quickly got out of the car and was immediately pulled into a tight embrace by his mother.

But the woman only hugged him for a moment before looking him up and down.

"Mom, what are you looking at? I’m fine," Enzo said with a chuckle.

He knew his mother was worried that he might have returned in poor condition.

"Thank goodness you’re still in one piece," she said.

Enzo smiled bitterly when he heard that.

Eva watched from inside the car and didn’t seem to have any intention of getting out.

"Mom, let’s go inside. I already bought breakfast. You don’t need to cook anymore," Enzo said.

"Yes!" Lisa then pulled him into the villa.

Unlike her, Paul merely watched while Evan seemed to feel that this wasn’t the right time for him to join the conversation.

"How are you feeling?" Lisa asked as they headed toward the dining table.

"I feel really good," Enzo replied.

"Besides that, there’s something good I want to show you."

"Something good?" The family was confused.

"Look..." Enzo released Spiritual Energy from his palm.

"This?" Everyone immediately showed expressions of astonishment.

It wasn’t that they had never seen this before. They often saw it on TV.

"Bro, you became a Spiritual Warrior?" Evan asked.

"That’s right. My path has finally opened," Enzo replied.

"Awesome. Did Sister-in-law give you something?" Evan asked again.

Enzo rolled his eyes at his words.

Sister-in-law.

"You could say that." Enzo nodded.

Although this was because of the System, it was something he couldn’t reveal. And Miya certainly played a role in it as well.

"Everyone, let’s have breakfast..." Enzo figured there was no point in talking about it any further.

The breakfast he had bought consisted of various dishes.

He chose oatmeal porridge with fried chicken.

Even though he had already eaten breakfast, he still had to eat with his family.

After all, this wouldn’t happen every day anymore.

Lisa nodded and began eating, followed by Paul and Evan.

"So, is it really okay for you to come back?" Lisa asked again because she still had so many questions.

"It’s completely fine. I’m even going to the university after this," Enzo replied. "Don’t think my life has become restricted just because of this marriage. This is actually another opportunity in my life."

"Hahaha, it seems Lady Stanley is a good woman," Lisa laughed.

Unlike Evan, she still viewed Miya as a lady whose status was far beyond their reach.

On this matter, Enzo couldn’t really comment either.

There hadn’t been any communication between Miya and his family yet.

However, Enzo thought this was only temporary. Miya wasn’t as cold as she appeared.

Even toward her brothers who were hostile toward her, she still showed them respect by calling them her brothers.

Enzo didn’t believe she would ignore her in-laws.

Perhaps the truth was simply that she wasn’t ready yet. After all, hadn’t she prepared this villa for them and taken care of everything inside so they no longer had to worry about anything?

Enzo spent more than an hour with his mother before finally leaving the villa.

It was time to go to the university.

As he walked toward the car, Eva got out of the driver’s seat just to open the rear door for him.

Whoosh!

The car immediately sped away.

Enzo didn’t see Alice again this time.

Her white sports car wasn’t there either, so she had probably already left.

It was already around eight in the morning, which was truly the busiest rush hour in City Z.

Without an escort, there was no way they could get through the roads. They could only endure the traffic because there was simply no other way.

Unfortunately, even though humans could fly after becoming Lords of Earth, cars still couldn’t.

Technological development had become somewhat stagnant since the cultivation era began.

Suddenly, a car far ahead of them was sent flying into the air, soaring incredibly high.

Enzo couldn’t see how far it had been thrown because his view was limited from inside the car.

However, when it came back down, he realized it was falling onto the sidewalk not far from them.

The car was completely crushed upon impact.

But it didn’t stop there. Another car was suddenly sent flying high into the air.

"Hahaha, so this is what it feels like to possess Level 5 strength."

Roaring laughter echoed from ahead.

Enzo’s expression immediately turned serious.

He saw a thin, middle-aged man wearing glasses leap onto a city bus. Spiritual aura continuously radiated from his body, and the pressure spread in every direction, so much so that even Enzo, who was some distance away, could feel it.

Although the middle-aged man didn’t seem to possess a technique, as his spiritual aura showed no particular changes, Level 5 strength was naturally far too powerful.
