Chapter 35: Comment

He looked at Eva, who appeared calm and acted as if she were merely a subordinate willing to do anything.

But how could there be no hidden motive behind this?

It was clearly a provocation meant to push him into a pit.

Instead of answering, Enzo immediately got into the taxi he had called.

Eva quickly followed.

"University of City Z Warrior!" Enzo told the taxi driver, who gave a slight nod.

As the car drove away, he simply lowered his head, distracting himself by contemplating his technique.

Before he knew it, they had arrived at the university, and the taxi stopped in front of the gate.

Enzo opened the door and stepped out.

"Whoa..." Suddenly, he heard numerous voices from the people around him as they stared at him in astonishment.

"He’s taking a taxi?"

"I’m surprised he’s still coming to university after getting married."

"Right, but who is his wife? How can he come to university in a taxi?"

Enzo: "..."

He hadn’t expected his arrival by taxi to immediately become a topic of discussion.

Although they were speaking quietly, as a Spiritual Warrior, he could hear them.

Eva also furrowed her brows, but was it really necessary for them to explain that they had actually brought a car and only switched to a taxi to avoid the traffic?

If they explained, people would still comment about how much they cared about other people’s opinions.

"Is that Eva Solace?"

Both Enzo and Eva were famous at this university because they were among the most senior students.

"You..." she suddenly spoke.

This also surprised Enzo because he finally heard her arrogant tone again.

She pointed at the people who had been talking, causing them to freeze.

Seeing the anger on her face, they realized their mistake.

Eva then approached them.

Just after entering, he saw Liam Stanley, wearing glasses and talking with his close friends.

When Liam saw him, his expression immediately showed that he felt even more unlucky.

His friends also became awkward.

Liam wasn’t the type of bully Alex was, but he had often looked down on Enzo.

Since Enzo had married his aunt, in theory, he should now call him Uncle.

In the end, Liam took out his phone and placed it against his ear.

Enzo continued walking.

He saw several people who often mocked him, but they all chose to avoid him.

After walking quite a distance, he stopped in front of an elevator door that required a fingerprint to open.

He placed his finger on the scanner, and the elevator doors immediately opened.

"Master, this isn’t a suitable place for you," Eva said.

"Didn’t you try it and receive the reward? Why can’t I?" Enzo replied.

"I only tried it after reaching Level 3. Even Liam, who was the strongest, failed when he was still Level 2 and only succeeded after reaching Level 3. Not many people know that one of his hands was severed back then. If he hadn’t had such an incredible healing pill, he’d only have one hand now," Eva replied.

She thought Enzo was still Level 1. Naturally, even if she knew he was Level 2, she would still think he wasn’t strong enough.

"You don’t need to worry about whether I succeed or not. And you shouldn’t really care anyway, right?" Enzo replied sarcastically before stepping into the elevator and pressing the button.

Eva pressed her lips together, unable to say anything.

Even so, she entered the elevator before the doors closed.

This university provided an extraordinary opportunity granted by the Association.

It was called the Light Sphere Challenge.

Essentially, there was a reward for successfully passing its trial, but no one knew the details except those who had actually attempted it.

As a student who had studied at this university for so long, Enzo naturally wouldn’t let such an opportunity slip away.

Once he graduated, he would no longer be eligible.

An opportunity like this could only be found in the Lands of Legacy.

The elevator floor trembled slightly as it began moving downward instead of upward.

After about ten seconds, it stopped, and the doors opened, revealing a spacious and brightly lit basement.

It looked peaceful, yet there was an oppressive aura permeating the area.

A large sphere of light stood conspicuously in the center of the basement, with a doorway naturally formed on its surface.

"Damn it!" An irritated shout echoed as a fat young man was thrown out of the doorway, blood spilling from his mouth.

He crashed heavily onto the floor with a loud thud.

"Alex, you still need to train properly. Don’t try again until your strength has truly improved..." shouted a middle-aged instructor whose face was covered in scars.

After saying that, he turned his gaze toward the open elevator and was surprised by who had appeared.

Because the elevator had made a sound, Alex also turned his head.

He froze instantly, his mouth hanging open when he saw Enzo and Eva.

The former calmly took a step forward, barely paying attention to Alex and focusing only on the doorway within the sphere of light.

"Enzo, what are you doing here?" the instructor asked.
