It really was that woman. She was having a photoshoot while wearing long pants and a short-sleeved light blue blouse.

The person speaking with her was a young manager, probably in his mid-twenties.

After the items had been arranged more carefully, Alice was finally photographed. She posed as though she were a curious customer visiting the store.

"Miss Howard, over there now," the manager said, directing her toward another location.

Alice followed, but she looked at Enzo and smiled gently.

In the end, she passed directly in front of him, leaving Enzo no way to avoid her even if he wanted to pretend they did not know each other. In reality, they did not know each other at all.

"That slut is always flirting everywhere she goes," Rosa said sarcastically after the group passed.

"Hahaha, that’s how she makes a living. I heard the money she earns from filming isn’t even enough to pay for her skincare treatments," Zara chuckled.

Enzo was slightly surprised to hear that.

He had thought Rosa would not be so petty as to call another woman a slut simply because the latter was prettier.

"Do you two know something about her?" Enzo asked.

"Uncle, did you know that her real family name is Johnson? She was ashamed of it, so she changed it to Howard before her debut. Hmph, she wasn’t that beautiful back then, but ever since she was young, she became the mistress of wealthy men for money and bought various expensive skin-whitening treatments to make herself look like that. We have to admit she was lucky because all those treatments happened to work well for her. Other people who followed in her footsteps ended up suffering severe skin damage," Zara answered.

"Uncle, that’s the truth. Are you disappointed because you used to be her fan?" Rosa added.

"Of course, there’s nothing wrong with being a fan of celebrities, but you should never expect anything more from them. Many of them are just rotten fish pretending to be pure swans."

Enzo: "..."

"Hey, I never said I was her fan," he said.

Of course, he could not admit that, even if the truth about Alice had not been nearly as bad as they claimed.

After saying that, Enzo walked toward a display case containing silver swords. Most of them were around one meter long, each with a different design. Some were thin, while others were thick. Several had engravings in different colors, whether red or blue.

Although they were basically mortal items, even the cheapest one cost around $25,000. The expensive ones cost more than $100,000.

These were purely material treasures.

Most of their materials came from the Land of Legacy, either from the bones of beasts or metals that had been exposed to dense Spiritual Energy for a long time.

Of course, there were more expensive ones, but those were more suitable for Spiritual Warriors above Level 7.

"Sir, do you like any of these swords?" A store employee approached and asked politely.

"Is this one suitable for flames?" Enzo asked, pointing at a sword with red patterns. It was priced at $100,000.

"Yes. This sword is mixed with the essence of bones from a beast with fire-based power. When you swing it, your flames can even roar," the store employee explained.

Enzo nodded lightly.

"I’ll take this one," he said.

"Very well. Please pay at the cashier. We’ll prepare it for you," the employee replied.

He recorded Enzo’s order and handed the note to Enzo so he could take it to the cashier.

Enzo took it and walked straight to the cashier.

There were only two cashiers here, both women in their thirties.

"This is my order," Enzo said as he handed over the note along with his credit card.

The cashier glanced at it for a moment before suddenly pushing the credit card back.

"Sir, you don’t need to pay," the cashier said, surprising Enzo.

"Miss Howard will cover your purchase as long as the total doesn’t exceed the fee we’re paying her," the cashier explained, surprising even Rosa and Zara.

"Uncle, do you know her?" they asked simultaneously.

Enzo quickly shook his head.

"No, of course not. But she lives across from the villa Miya gave my parents," Enzo reluctantly explained.

"We’ve never interacted," he added.

After saying that, he handed the card back to the cashier.

"Charge it to me. I don’t need anyone else to pay for me. Do you think I’m short on money?" he said firmly.

How could the store refuse his payment simply because someone else had said they would pay for him?

The cashier realized that Enzo had been offended by her actions.

"Yes, I’m sorry." She quickly charged the payment to his credit card.

At first, she had assumed the two were involved somehow, so she had treated Alice’s arrangement as an instruction. Apparently, that was not the case.

The receipt soon came out of the cashier machine.

"Sir, please wait a moment while we prepare your item. You can sit down for now," she said.

But Enzo did not sit. He remained standing in front of the cashier counter, waiting for his item.

Alice was still waiting for the photoshoot, busy with her phone, which seemed to be receiving numerous calls.

The store employee from earlier soon came over as well.

The sword Enzo had ordered was placed inside a large, tightly sealed case.

"Sir, here is your item," the employee said.

Enzo took it and immediately walked away.

He felt uncomfortable.

Rosa and Zara were still staring at him suspiciously.

’I want to tell them that this might be your father’s scheme to drive me away from the Stanley Family, but unfortunately, I have no evidence.’

What he was worried about was that they would report something strange to Miya.

He got into the car quickly and opened the case.

Back at the display counter, he had been unable to touch it because the glass was in the way.

But now that he was holding it, he could truly feel a connection between the sword and his Spiritual Energy. It felt as though the sword were a part of his body, capable of releasing his power.
