Invincible Martial Artist from Foreseeing Opportunities

Chapter 103: On Feiyun Peak, I'll Kill You in Three Breaths!

“Despicable!”

The ugly figure, both shocked and furious, retreated in an attempt to flee. Xu Guang spurred his horse into pursuit, his Big Spear dancing through the air in a straight line. The two figures parted the moment they touched, brushing past each other.

The Big Spear swung—Blood Refining!

Moments later, the ugly figure collapsed dead on the ground, his chest forcefully torn open by the Silver Spear. Exactly four breaths had passed by the time the spear was withdrawn. This seamless, flowing execution left all onlookers visibly shaken, including Guan Mountain and Su Yuchan.

After slaying the ugly figure, Xu Guang rode forward. The Ghost Hair at his feet quietly slithered back onto his body along the Cyan-Scaled Horse. He then led the dozens of Feiyun Guards behind him to approach Guan Mountain. The distance between them was ambiguous—neither too close nor too far, as if they were on guard against something.

“Brother Guan, shall we fight our way out together?”

Guan Mountain did not reply, instead looking back at Su Yuchan.

Su Yuchan nodded gently. “Alright.”

Xu Guang gave Su Yuchan a thoughtful look. Then, holding his Big Spear as if it were of no consequence, he let it drag along the ground, cutting through the corpses in their path. “To the Martial Arts Academy first!”

The howling wind swept past as Han Qiufeng stood motionless, his calm gaze sweeping over the faces of the disciples behind him. His son was among them. But he only gave them that single glance.

Holding a saber as smooth as water and radiating a piercing chill, Han Qiufeng looked at the old man standing before him. “Elder Ding, are you truly going to just sit back and watch?”

The old man’s face was gloomy. His body seemed like a conduit connecting two realms, as vitality and Power erupted simultaneously around him. “If you want to intervene, then go. But the Cold Blade Sect is not your Cold Blade Sect, Han Qiufeng!”

Han Qiufeng was left speechless. Ever since he defied the wishes of the several patriarchs of the Cold Blade Sect by taking Su Yuchan as his Closed-door Disciple, he was no longer the Sect Leader whose word was absolute law. Elder Ding glared at him, seemingly forcing him to make a choice. Han Qiufeng met his gaze equally, though it was the first time he had stared so intensely at an elder who held authority over him.

Elder Ding gradually lost the staring contest and turned his back, just in time to hear Han Qiufeng’s voice.

“Those who brave the storm for others must not be left to freeze in the snow.”

By the time the old man listened again, Han Qiufeng’s figure had already vanished into the distance.

As a Sensing Profound Strong Person, Han Qiufeng could not actually fly, but a single step on the rooftops allowed him to glide for dozens of meters, a feat comparable to flight. Mid-air, he looked down at Feiyun City, now reduced to a desolate wasteland. Plumes of smoke and dust filled the air, blanketing collapsed houses, mutilated corpses, and frenzied Undead everywhere. Sorrow filled his heart.

Suddenly, behind a cloud of smoke and dust, he spotted a pair of eyes. They were eyes that glinted with a vicious green light.

“Hiss… no, it should be tee-hee! The State Chief has ordered that not a single person in the Cold Blade Sect is to be left alive!”

A long whip resembling a snake’s tail lashed out from the void, wreathed in billowing, inextinguishable nether flames.

BOOM!

Han Qiufeng twisted sideways to dodge, but a fist materialized right behind his back. The strike slammed his entire body directly into the ground.

“Han Qiufeng is dead!” A sharp, twisted female voice shrieked, the sound echoing across the entire surrounding market district the moment it rang out.

Hitting the ground, Han Qiufeng felt a chilling dread rise in his heart. The Earthly Branches Twelve Sects had actually deployed a Second Transformation Realm Strong Person—absolute madness.

In the Sensing Profound Realm, one used a Profound Seed to draw upon the Profound World Strange Power to transform themselves. With each metamorphosis, a Martial Artist’s body would undergo inconceivable changes—every shift marked a comprehensive evolution from their physical form to their Power. The First Transformation alone was a world of difference.

Even at the absolute peak of its dominance in Feiyun City, the Cold Blade Sect only had a single Second Transformation Strong Person. He quickly scrambled to his feet, ignoring the chaotic wails and agonizing cries surrounding him, and swiftly fled into the distance.

The entire great city was howling in grief!

Inside the Martial Arts Academy, Zhao Fu had already welcomed the first wave of reinforcements, which consisted of people from the Commerce Alliance.

Led by Cheng Lian’Er and Xu Sanduo’s uncle, Uncle Xu Nian, the two discussed how to escape with solemn expressions. Today, the city was overrun with the eerie Undead of the Yellow Heaven Sect, alongside countless Demons from the Earthly Branches Twelve Sects. Heads rolled and blood flowed like rivers; the canal, once a peaceful and tranquil waterway bustling with flower boats, had long since been dyed crimson.

Jiang Wu stood in front of the two. Looking at the map in their hands, he said softly, “We can’t leave through the east of the city. Although the east gate is close, that’s where Feiyun Peak and the Mysterious Strange Pavilion are located. We cannot take that risk.”

“Senior Brother Jiang is right. If we want to leave, we can only take the south gate. Even though it’s the furthest, the southern part of the city is the poorest, so the guarding forces there should be the weakest,” Cheng Lian’Er said expressionlessly, her voice remaining soft. “But all of this relies on dealing with the few Refining Viscera Realm Demons outside first. Otherwise, we won’t even be able to walk out of this courtyard.”

At these words, everyone fell silent. The Demons outside were attempting to wear down the people in the courtyard until they died, and it was clear there was a master tactician among them. By besieging three sides and leaving one open, they had driven the Commerce Alliance’s people to the location of the Martial Arts Alliance, forcing the two factions to suspect one another and rendering them too afraid to risk a life-and-death breakout.

It was a psychological warfare tactic. While it was possible that it could forge the people inside into a united front, the presence of the Yellow Heaven Sect’s Undead meant their stamina would quickly be depleted regardless.

Suddenly, a chorus of battle cries erupted outside, accompanied by the furious roars of thugs.

“It’s Xu Guang! He’s Duan Jue’s trusted aide, he must be killed!”

“Kill Xu Guang!”

“The man riding the horse and wielding the Big Spear is Xu Guang! Charge!”

Hearing this, the people in the courtyard looked invigorated. Xu Guang had always liked to hide his trump cards; could he lead them in a successful breakout? Xu Sanduo, the fastest among them, stepped onto a crevice in the wall to carefully observe the situation outside the courtyard before shouting loudly.

“Junior Brother has come to save us!”

Jiang Wu, Huang Ru, Cheng Lian’Er, and Uncle Xu Nian exchanged glances, their eyes simultaneously bursting with a sharp gleam.

“Let’s fight our way out.”

The world seemed to change colors. Xu Guang fought as if he knew no fatigue. He did not know how many people he had killed, nor how many had fallen behind him. He only knew that there were always enemies in front of him.

Opposite him stood several figures with their arms crossed. All of them had bizarre appearances, except for the leader, who looked handsome and appeared to practice an orthodox Cultivation Technique.

“Marshal Xu truly lives up to his reputation. Slashing Yang Sha with a single spear and splattering blood across the Mandarin Duck Tower—you are indeed a hero of Feiyun City. I imagine the Monarch Feiyun that the Yellow Heaven Sect has been relentlessly searching for is also you, sir?”

Instantly, the listeners were in an uproar.

The person who killed Jade Elephant Seat Master Qian Cheng was Xu Guang?

Xu Guang said nothing, merely brandishing the Big Spear in his hands.

One of the men behind the noble young master seemed highly disdainful of Xu Guang, a cold gleam surfacing in his eyes. “A mere frog in the well. How could you possibly understand our methods?”

He leaped out from the pavilion, his eyes flashing sharply. Pinching several black spheres between his fingers, he suddenly hurled them at Xu Guang mid-air.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Explosions rang out one after another. Smoke and dust instantly shrouded everything. In the very next moment, the man’s corpse was sent flying, flicked away by the tip of the Big Spear. The burly man who had just appeared so imposing and Invincible was reduced to a dead body in an instant.

Xu Guang’s expression was ferocious, his arms bulging. The Armor on his body had already shattered for the most part, revealing tiny black spots on his skin that looked as savage as blood.
