The woman’s voice was soft and sweet, with a hint of concern, as if she genuinely cared about Chen Rui’s health.

Finally, the little girl in pale yellow gauze chimed in with a crisp voice, “Young Master, don’t be upset! Those people surely won’t live long, you don’t need to get angry over them. We all care about you!”

She blinked her big eyes, revealing an innocent smile, afraid that Chen Rui might be upset and affect his mood. She coquettishly tried to cheer him up beside him.

These women showcased their skills, either praising Chen Rui’s decisiveness and masculinity or comforting him not to be overly angry, each behaving exceedingly obediently and wisely, scrambling to butter up Chen Rui.

Their voices were sweet and soft, acts gentle and caring, as if they were willing to do anything to make Chen Rui happy.

Listening to the compliments and comforts from these beauties, Chen Rui’s expression of pride grew even stronger.

He felt that his decision was not only recognized by these beauties but also showed his authority and means as the Young Master of the Chen Family.

He relished in their care, his mood extremely delightful, as if the previous anger had dissolved in these gentle surroundings.

In this atmosphere of flattery, Chen Rui’s confidence soared to the extreme.

He no longer worried about the matters of Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao, instead, he was proud of his ability to easily control the situation.

To him, all this was just little tricks played within his hands by Chen Rui, and the praises from these beauties further convinced him that everything he did was unimpeachable.

Da Hei escorted Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao towards the backyard of Chen Rui’s Mansion, as footsteps echoed in the courtyard, the surroundings gradually became desolate.

Initially, a few elegant rockeries and verdant bamboo groves could be seen, occasionally adorned with some carefully tended exotic flowers and plants, but as they walked further, these sights gradually disappeared, replaced by dilapidated weed-covered land, and the stone slab path became pitted and rugged, as if it hadn’t been tended for a long time.

Further ahead, the buildings became more sparse, the walls mottled, the roof tiles under the eaves uneven, with some already broken and fallen.

Occasionally, a few dead trees stood by the roadside, their branches twisted like ghosts, swaying in the breeze, making a “creak creak” sound, giving a sinister feeling. Stones and weeds were scattered on the ground, appearing chaotic, with the road underfoot becoming increasingly rugged, seemingly long untouched.

They continued walking for an unknown length of time, as the surroundings grew more desolate, even the sounds of insects disappeared.

Eventually, they stopped in front of a barren land. Before them appeared a massive pigsty, rather a place exuding a foul stench than a pigsty.

The wooden fence outside the pigsty was already rotten and dilapidated, with many places even collapsing, exposing the scene inside.

The scenario inside the pigsty was nauseating.

The area was several times larger than an ordinary pigsty, yet, the entire place was steeped in filthy muddy water and feces. The air was filled with an nauseating stench, seemingly uncleaned for months.

Thick filth covered the ground everywhere, some places already dried and caked, while more places were muddy mixed with feces and debris, emitting a pungent rotting odor.

The pigs inside the sty lazily lay on the ground, seemingly accustomed to such adverse conditions, their coats soiled and covered with flies and other insects.

A few pigs rolled back and forth in the mud, making “snort snort” noises, as if enjoying this filthy place.

A few flies kept circling in the air, buzzing as if mocking this dirty paradise.

The stench hit head-on, so strong it seemed to suffocate people, as if staying just one more second would make a person faint from the foul odor. Around the pigsty, piles of rotted food scraps were strewn around, even some unidentified objects were scattered, long decayed with green mold covering the surface.

Da Hei stood outside the pigsty, looking at this extremely disgusting place, a hint of sneer appeared on his face.

He turned to the detained Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao, his voice low and sinister: “This is the place. If you dare to mess around, don’t blame me for being rude.”

As Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao approached the pigsty, the pungent stench hit head-on, nearly making them hold their breath instantly.

Ye Qingchen couldn’t help but wrinkle his brow, a glimmer of disgust in his eyes, even though he was accustomed to various harsh environments, the degree of filthiness before him still made him uncomfortable.

He raised his hand to gently cover his nose, trying not to inhale the foul stench, but the disdain in his brow could not be concealed.

Xiao Xiao’s reaction was more direct, her face slightly pale, her brow tightly furrowed, filled with discontent and disgust in her eyes.

Although she usually went through many harsh environments, the degree of squalor here was beyond her expectation.

The stench in the air almost made her want to step back, yet unwilling to show fear in front of Da Hei, she could only grit her teeth, enduring the revulsion in her heart.

She couldn’t help but turn to look at Da Hei, with a slight tone of questioning: “How can this place be so smelly? You don’t clean it usually?”

Ye Qingchen also coldly scanned the surroundings, adding: “Is this how you manage? You can’t even maintain basic hygiene?”

His voice was calm but carried obvious sarcasm and contempt, seemingly saying, managing even this place poorly, what claims of grand clan can you make.

Upon hearing Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao’s questioning, Da Hei seemed to hear some grand joke, suddenly bursting into laughter.

His rough laughter reverberated sharply in the desolate and bleak backyard, injected with a few mockery and malice.

“Hahaha, you guys really won’t learn without a coffin to shed tears!” Da Hei laughed aloud while patting the wooden fence beside him with his rough hands, as if showcasing some treasure, his face full of pride.

“Do you think this is just an ordinary pigsty? Let me tell you, inside are not common pigs, but legendary Filthy Pigs!”

He deliberately emphasized the words “Filthy Pigs,” as if showing off. Seeing Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao’s expressions slightly change, he felt even more triumphant, continuing to mock, “These pigs were bought by our Young Master Chen from the Western Region at great expense as Exotic Beasts. Although they look like ordinary pigs, their aggression is not weak. Gathered together, even tigers dare not provoke them easily. More importantly, these Filthy Pigs eat a lot and defecate a lot!”
